(In the wake of the Overlord's defeat, Ninjago City is reborn and the ninjas teach at Sensei Wu's academy. But the peace doesn't last long.)

Season Three: Episode One

"I can see you."
"You're not even trying."
"Really, Brad?"

I watch as I try to teach the students stealthiness.
The bell rings signaling recess. All the students run out, almost knocking me down in the process.

"Ugh, you know, when Sensei said we would get to teach the kids I thought it would be more fun than this," I slump onto the ground.

"Nice tie," I tease Kai as he tries to fix it. "Thanks."
As Nya enters the room I hear all of the boy students swoon over her.
"Why is it when I teach, I get the feeling that none of the boys are listening?"
"Here, here," I say from my position on the floor.

"Hey, did you guys hear the news?"
Nya's question makes us all jump up excitedly.
"There's trouble?"
"Danger?"
"An emergency?"
"Oh, a new menace?"
"We get to fight?"
"No," she scoffs, "we got clearance for a field trip. A trip to Borg Industries."

I groan, "I don't really trust that guy. I mean he just pops out of nowhere with all his new technology."
Jay starts fantasizing about the Borg Industries. Cole wraps and arm put my waist, making me blush.
"Let's go I guess."

"So we really are going back to the city," Kai says as I grab onto the handle bar of the bus.
"I mean, we haven't been there since...you know," Cole looks at me warily.

"Get a move on, Nya," Sensei says.
"Aye, aye, Sensei."

I ignore the amazing light all the others are seeing about, seeing someone come straight for us. "Incoming!"

"Ugh, who still here uses wheels anymore? Get with the program!"
Cole hood out of the bus to move the other vehicle away. "Don't worry, we'll free you up."

I smile as he picks up the vehicle easily.
"Stand back, pedestrian."
"Who you calling pedestrian," I look towards the robot that is talking to Cole.

"It appears our help is not welcome," Zane says, straightening his jacket.
"Well, I prefer traveling the old-fashioned way. On foot," Sensei says.

"Besides, it's not like we can't find where we're going."

I slowly nod my head as we enter the gigantic building.
"Welcome to Borg Industries. I'm Pixal, Cyrus' Primary Interactive X-thermal Asssistant Live-form."
Another nindroid comes towards us.
"I'm sorry to hear about the traffic accident."

My eyebrows raised, "but that happened just a few minutes ago."
She stares at me, "everything in New Ninjago City is fully automated and interconnected. You are Zane, a droid like me."

"Permission to scan," she asks Zane.
"Uh...permission granted?"
She starts to scan him, turning to me.
"Permission to scan Ms. Garmadon?"
"Uh...no."
I slowly back away towards Cole.

"What was that for," he asks laughing.
"I'd rather not get 'scanned' by anyone," I giggle.

"Strange. I am unable to contact a power source. What powers you?"
"I, uh... I don't know," he says truthfully.

"Mr. Borg would like to see the ninja on the 100th floor, Ms. Garmadon please stay here until you are called up."
"Um...okay."

"Mr. Borg thinks technology is the key to making our dreams come true."
We enter a huge room with all kinds of tech.

One of the students grab my hand, "woah! They have the Perfect Match console."
"What is it," I ask as they lead Nya and I over to it.

"It's the latest craze. It finds your perfect partner with flawless results."
"You should try it."
Nya steps onto the heart shaped pad and it starts to scan her.

"Analyzing match now," a robotic voice says.
"I bet it's gonna be Jay," I nudge her.
I gasp loudly as I see her match.

"Promise you won't tell anyone," I look at the face of Cole. Wait...," I look to Nya confused, "it says c-Cole?"
"It's probably just a malfunction," Nya stutters, unsure herself.

"It can't be, this has no flaws," one of the students say, my head starts to pound.

"I...," I get cut off as Pixal comes in. "Nya, Sensei, and the students please follow me."
They walk out of the room.

"There has got to be a mistake," I step onto the plate. My whole body shakes as I get the match for me.
"Kai," his name falls off my tongue too easily.

"Ms. Garmadon please follow me."

"Ooh, hello," I hear, turning my head.
My eyes widen as Cyrus Borg comes towards me on a spider-like thing.

"Now that you're here, I have a gift."
He walks us over to something covered by a sheet.
I tense, looking at Kai, as Cole wraps an arm around me.

He lifts us the sheet and uncovers what looks like a golden statue of him.
"Please protect them with your life," Cyrus pulls me and Kai to the side. "All Of Ninjago depends on it."

"Protect," I question, "protect what?"
"I should have never built here. You must go, he's listening."

He goes back to his desk. "Uh, in sorry to cut this short, but there's things to invent. I hope you can show yourselves out."

"Something is up with Borg," I say as the boys pick up the statue, bringing it into the elevator.
"They're called artificial limbs, (y/n)."

"No, (Y/n)'s right, he was acting suspicious. Like he was scared. He said we had to protect 'them' with our lives."

The doors suddenly slam closed causing the boys to drop the stair, it shattering in the process.

"Oh, great, now lo," I slap Jay's head, shutting him up.
"Look."

"Huh. Why would he give us new ninja outfits," Cole hands me mine, to which I hesitantly grab it, confusing him.
"Have to admit it, but maybe (Y/n) and Kai are onto something."

"And what exactly are these?"
Kai holds us these shiny golden-like weapons.
"Techno Blades locates. Apprehend."
"Guys," I gasp. "These must be the techno blades."

"We have to protect them with our lives," Kai adds.
"Have it your way, goodbye," the computer says. Suddenly we drop.
"Ah! We have to get off this thing," Cole grabs onto me.

"Going up," Kai looks at me and smirks. I grab his outstretched hands and slam my feet onto the top, opening it. We all use Spinjitzu to get on top.

"There," Zane points to the other elevator. We all yell, jumping onto the elevator.

"Looks like we just quit our day jobs," Cole hands out our suits.
I spin into my suit.
"I like these," I slip the bandana over my mouth. "It doesn't get in the way of my eyes," Kai says swiping his hair.

"Here," Zane hands me the wrist guard-looking Techno Blade.
"Awesome, feels like home," I slip them on, noticing where something is supposed to pop out. I decide to ignore it.

We all flip out of the elevator. "I gotta say, I like these new threads," Jay says, getting into position as some robots come out way.

"Oh yeah? Three can play at this game," Kai and I go to attack, nothing comes from my hands, nothing comes from his weapon.

"What's with these things? How do we turn them on?" I see Cole glare at Kai since he used me.

I jump back as the robots get closer. "Zane look!" I point to the lamp above the robots.
He swings his Techno Blade but it does nothing.

"It's not sharp. Why even call it a Blade?"
We get surround, one shoots a ray, barely missing us.
"Oh, snap," Jay says just as the windows break and we fall out.
Kai quickly grabs onto my hand.
"Get ready to crash!"

I ready myself for the breaking of glass but we all slam into it, not even making a crack.
Ow," I groan but they soon get over taken by my screams as we start to fall.

"Ugh," I groan as we land in a gondola. One of the cleaning robots turn to attack us, but get kicked off by Cole.

"What! It can't be," i exclaim, "we all saw Lloyd defeat him."
"Defeat, yes. But can he be destroyed?"

"I don't know, but we can," Jay yells as one of the helicopter robots get ready to shoot us.
Cole swiftly throws Zane onto the helicopter, seconds later Zane is flying it.

"What just happened?"
"The Techno Blade must've hacked the hover-copter's system!"
"Zane controls it."

"I got you," I catch Nya as she jumps away from Pixal, who is now evil.

"Get to the academy as fast as you can, sis," Kai calls to Nya as she hops into the bus.
"What about you guys," she looks at me carefully.
"We must protect the people."

Nya drives off. "Alright. So these Techno Blades can hack into their systems."
"So, what do you say we do a little hack-attack?"

"Zane, (Y/n), Kai, you take the skies."
"I want Cole and Jay on the ground."
"I don't think that's a good idea," I mumble remembering earlier.
"Huh," Cole asks.
I shake my head.

"Jealous," Kai asks playfully as he gets his own vehicle. I see another hover-plane on my view. "Nope."

I jump onto it, my guards extending into swords, digging into the mainframe and turning into my own vehicle.
I see Kai stare at me, "jealous?"

"Zane, over there," I just barely dodges an attack. I yelp, dodging a rocket coming my way.
"A little help here," I fly across the back of a building.

"There's Sensei," Jay says as Kai grabs him, before we all land in the middle of the intersection.
We get surrounded.

"There's too many! Well never get out!"
"They have to run out of batteries, right," I ask, hopping out of my vehicle to use my swords.

They all stop attacking abruptly, their lights turning green. "Lloyd," I watch him hop off his golden dragon.

"So you couldn't help yourself. The Golden Ninja, we meet again."
I hear the Overlord's voice everywhere.
"I defeated you once, and I'll do it again," Lloyd warns.
"Oh, I don't want to fight. I just want your power."

The bots start to come closer. "No, Lloyd, your powers is only making them stronger," Sensei stops him from attacking.

"Everyone get down!"
I extend my arms, smoke daggers float around me, slamming into the bots around us.

"Cool," I cheer, looking at the Golden wristguard, swords attached at the wrists.

"That was cool, but we need to get Lloyd and the Techno Blades our of the city."
"I don't think he'll let us leave."

"I have an idea."

"Kai, now," I shout as Sensei drops the Techno Blades into my hands.
"Go," I attack my vehicle onto Kai's, boosting us farther away.

"We have to go back for him," I hear Lloyd say though the com.
"We will, but only when you are safe," I reply.
"He wants these weapons, and for some reason he also wants you," Cole says.

"But remember this was Sensei's plan, they can't break him," Jay adds.
"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow had yet to come. We need to worry about today."
"You said it, Zane."

"We will come back to New Ninjago City. And when we do, we'll be ready."
"But for now, we find some place safe to hide. They'll be looking for us."
