"Ugh," I yell as the alarm clock blasts annoying ringing.
Lloyd uses his power and destroys it, "is it Wednesday already?"

I groan realizing it is, "Sunrise exercise."
"I hate sunrise exercise," Jay whines as Sensei enters the room, "good morning. Up, up. It's a new day students."

I shift my shirt over my eyes as he opens the blinds, "before we begin, I noticed the dragons made another mess outside, mostly Lloyd's dragon."

"Not my problem," I quickly change into my shirt while the others make up lame excuses.
"Ah. You might've been able to dump chores on me when I was smaller, but I'm grown now."

All the others stop at the door and turn around, "you're right Lloyd. We need to settle this like men."

"Hey," I yell.
"Fine," Kai says, "like men and women."
"With a round of Rock, Paper, Clamp!"

Lloyd puts in rock while we all put in paper, "haha! Paper beats rock!"

——————————

"I always have to do the dirty work," Lloyd groans, cleaning up the mess.
"Hey, having a pet dragon requires a lot of responsibility," Cole says.
"Yeah," I grunt in the middle of my sentence, "tell me about it."

"You okay," Zane asks as I make a face of discomfort, my whole body hurting before the feeling is gone, "Yeah, just felt weird."

"Didn't you're mom ever let you have a pet," Jay asks making me growl.
"We don't talk about her," I snap.
"She abandoned me when I was really young," Lloyd explains.
"She just left," Kai asks, "who took care of you?"

"Well, (y/n) did until people found out. They brought me to Darkly's boarding school."
The alarm goes off just as Lloyd finishes talking.
"I have a mission for you guys," Nya runs out, "it's the Museum if History! They've asked for you guys! Something really strange has happened."

"What?"
"You're gonna have to see it to believe it."

——————————

We get to the museum and the owner walks up to us, "quickly, come this way."
He leads us down the hall. "
The Stone Warrior exhibit opens to the public tonight, and this couldn't have come at a worse time."

"Uh... What couldn't have come at a worse him," Kai asks as I walk along side him.
"Ninjago City appreciates your help in destroying the Great Devourer some time back, but it appears its toxic venom has seeped into the city sewer system and has had the most unusual after-effect."

"Argh," I groan as I walk closer to it just to cover my nose and mouth, "it's stinks."
He opens the door and it reveals a bunch of little stone warriors that are...alive?

"The toxicity in the venom somehow brought the merchandise to life! They're so unruly," he says as they knock down different pots.
One jumps of Zane and hits him in the face.

"We've got this covered," Jay says, "I think we can handle a few toys."
We all start fighting and destroying the toys.
Some surround me, while more get behind me, tripping me.
"Stupid toys," I yell destroying one that landed on my head.

"There laughing is so annoying," I yell over their giggling.
"Ninja go," we all yell, spinning.

"Oops," Zane says as the we stop spinning, seeing the room completely ruined.
We all follow after Sensei as he runs to get the last one.

Jay clears his throat as we notice Sensei talking to a woman, "so are you going to introduce us?"
"Um, yes, this is Misako. Lloyd and (Y/n)'s mother."

I gasp, my body getting weak. I hold onto Cole, a glare etched onto my face towards the woman in front of me.

"Lloyd? My little boy," she says walking towards Lloyd, "you're so much bigger than I remembered."
I regain my strength and stand up staring, carefully watching her moves.

"Yeah, well, it's been a long time," Lloyd says spitefully pulling out of her reach.
"I didn't want us to meet like this," mom says softly," I have a reason why I've been away."
"Well, I don't want to hear it," Lloyd snaps walking away.

"(Y/n), please go get your brother," she says to me.
"You think I'm going to listen to you," I turn to her, "after you left us in the torturous hands of dad?"

"I can explain," she stutters, "I had to."
I scoff," yeah, you had to. You knew what dad would turn into, but you left anyway."

I start to walk away, "maybe it was for the better that you left."

—————————

I watch as our mother walks into the room, "id watch your step. That sinkhole doesnt has a bottom," she says, "it's where I found the Ancient Stone Warrior."

"Ah, "son"," Lloyd says, "you've been gone my whole life!"
"There's nothing you can say," I spit.
"Well, I'm going to talk anyway. You wanna know what I've been doing all this time," she asks walking towards me, "long before Sensei Wu ever knew who would be the Green Ninja, I knew it would be you."

"Stop lying," I shout, covering my ears, "how could you have known that, when you didn't even know you're own son?"
"And I knew you would eventually have to fight your father," she looks to me sadly, "all this time...I've been trying to save you guys, and your father."

She gestures towards the banners behind me, "long before time had a name, Ninjago was created by the First Spinjitzu Master."
"Yeah, Yeah. We've heard this story a hundred times," Lloyd cuts her off.

"But you've only heard half of it."

—————————

"So what you're saying is," I start, "Ninjago was separated between dark and light? But isn't that what we are," I ask pointing towards Lloyd and I.
"Yes," mom says sadly, "that is what I mean."
"So we're the balance Ninjago needs," Lloyd asks.

"Yes, but more have joined the dark side, with Garmadon, since they found out the Ninja Of Darkness, you (y/n), joined the good side," Sensei says, "you chose correct, (Y/n), and we need to show people that."

"So that's why the battle has yet to be decided," Kai says, "it was never finished."
"But where is the Dark Island," Cole asks, "I've never heard of it."

"Disappeared, I presume," my mother stars, "(y/n), have you been feeling weak at sudden moments?"
My eyes widen as I look up to her, hesitantly I nod.
"Oh no," she whispers.
"What does that mean," I grunt as I fall over, my legs giving out from under me.
"Someone's trying to awaken the Overlord," she says, "and when they do, it won't be good."

——————————

"Have you discovered a way to prevent me from facing my father," Lloyd asks as Cole helps me back to my feet.
"I'm sorry, not yet," mom says, "but I have reason to believe there's still hope."

We all gasp as the door collapses. "Woah! Excuse me," Jay exclaims, "will somebody please tell me what the heck is that?"
"The Stone Warrior."

"The Devourer's venom has awakened him," Zane says.
"Oh great! Kai, take care of him," Cole says.
Kai gulps looking at the Warrior looming over him before going to attack.

He goes to attack but the Warrior hits his sword and it breaks into pieces, "well...in minds eye, I saw that playing out entirely differently."

The Warrior grabs Kai making him yell out.
"The Overlord creates his Stone Army from an indestructible material only found in the Dark Island!"

"Ah. Great. You could've mentioned that earlier," Kai says as the Warrior tosses him away.

"Lloyd, (Y/n), use your powers," Sensei says.
We each ball out hands together as our powers radiate from around us. We push our hands out and the Warrior flies back.
"Yes," I cheer with the rest of them.

"What," Cole gasps seeing the Warrior get back up, "how are we supposed to destroy that thing?"

They boys put their hoods on and start attacking as Sensei grabs me from Cole. I grab Jay just as he falls into the bottomless pit.
"Close call!"

It talks indecipherably before smashing his weapon onto the ground making us fly out of the room.

I grab onto my mother midair and protect her as my back hit the wall.
"Thank you, daughter," she says.
"Don't mention it," I say helping Cole up, "this is gonna be a lot harder than a bunch of bobble heads fellas."

"Yeah, well. Then it's a good thing we're in a museum," Jay says as the Warrior stands above him.
"Why is that?"
"Because were all about to become history," he yells, "run!"

We all start running down the hallway, the Warrior on our tails, "for how big he is," I grunt as Lloyd and I dodge and attack, "he sure is fast."

As he gets closer to us Lloyd yells, "the guy's for a pair of sneakers in him. Pick up the pace!"
We run up a pair of stairs and close the doors to the room.
"That'll hold him for like a second," I yell backing up.
"That thing is unstoppable," Cole shouts grabbing me, as I fall once more."
"That door ain't gonna hold him forever," Kai says, "let's settle this like men...and woman."

"Loser has to face him, so the rest can escape," Jay says.
Lloyd puts his hand in as I follow.
"Not you guys," they say pushing us out.
"Wait a minute," I stop them, "that's it," Lloyd says.

"If you guys can keep him busy," I say, "I think I know how to stop him," Lloyd finishes.
"I say we give the kid a shot."

Lloyd grabs my hand as we run into the vents
"Good luck, children," our mother says.
"Thanks mom," I nod back as Lloyd hugs her.

———————————

"Over here," Lloyd shouts as I finish and step back, seeing mom.
"Kids," she yells running towards us, the Warrior right behind her.
"Paper beats rock," I yell as the Warrior runs towards us.

At the last minute we jump out of the way as the Warrior lands in our trap. The ground fall from beneath him and he falls into the bottomless pit.

"I'm so proud of you," she hugs Lloyd, "and I'm so sorry," she says hugging me.
The others come walking in.
"Stay with us," Sensei says, "help us fight the good fight."
"If that's okay with my children."
"The more the merrier," Lloyd says.

I grab onto my stomach as a pain flares. "Mom," I whisper as I collapse onto the ground unable to keep standing.
"(Y/n)," Lloyd runs to me, "what happening?"

I scrunch my face up in pain as my body feels like it's ripping apart.
"It hurts," I scream, unable to take the pain.

"The Island Of Darkness has risen."
