"Hand me that screwdriver," Nya says. I give it to her while tightening the wheel. I dust off the dirt from my purple tank top and black shorts, wiping the sweat from my forehead.
"Every cog, every gear is important," Zane's father explains to Lloyd as he fixes the falcon, "if one piece is missing or out of place, the invention won't work."
"It is like you ninja. You each serve very important roles, even if it doesn't seem like it," Sensei looks at me, "you are all each key part to a magnificent fighting force."
I look towards where the falcon is flying and see powers of rock and ice clash together. "Looks like your boyfriend likes his new weapon, (y/n)," Nya teases.
"Cole isn't my boyfriend," I whine.
"If we're all gears, what if I'm the gear that doesn't work? What if I don't do my part?"
"Stop with the, 'what ifs', Lloyd. You can do it," I wrap my arm around him.
"The final battle is almost upon us. When that time comes, we will know the answer to what if, whether you like it or not," Sensei says, digging his staff into the ground.
"I know you don't want to face your father, but there's no other choice," Nya walks over to us.
"But, perhaps there is," my mother interrupts her, "I used to think it was inevitable, but then I found this."
She lays out a scroll. "You mean maybe Lloyd doesn't have to fight," my jaw drops as I look at Cole as he speaks: his toned arms and abs.
Nya elbows me as I close my mouth.
"The scroll says that when the Helmet Of Darkness is bequeathed to its rightful ruler, the celestial clock will count down to the activation to the unspeakable weapon," Misako explains.
"The first sign that the final battle between good and evil had begun."
"Did you just say unspeakable weapon?"
"Uh, I'm still stuck on what "bequeathed" means."
Jay's comment makes me chuckle.
"Go on mom, don't let us interrupt you. How do we stop the final battle," I ask as she begins to tell us.
"There is nothing here that explains what would happen if the Helmet Of Darkness is returned."
"Interesting," Sensei says, "Remove the helmet, the clock starts. Put it back, the clock stops." "And the final battle never starts," Lloyd and I say in sync.
"Bequeathed anyone," Jay asks, slumping, "is anyone gonna help me out with that?" "That sounds great and all, and I know we have our new powers, but you expect us to get past his whole army of stone warriors," Kai asks. "And pluck the helmet off his head," I add.
"My brother and (y/n) are right. They're good, but they're not that good," Nya explains. "I know. And that is why my daughter and I are going to do it."
"What," I yell incredulously, Cole grabbing my hand. "We'll just need a little help," she leads us over, away from Sensei, Lloyd, and Nya. "In order to get past the guards, we need to first get control. (y/n) and I are going to be your prisoners. You all will change into these," she holds up warriors outfits.

"Someone likes it rough," I whisper under my breath as Cole's grip get tighter, Kai knocking on the door of Garmadon's base. "What," I hear him exclaim, whispering. I look at his face and see it bright red, "I didn't say anything," I smirk.
"(Y/n), they won't believe we've been caught prisoner, I'm gonna need to you fight against Cole when I tap your my leg twice." I nod my head, "be ready," I whisper to Cole.
They open the door and we walk in. "Unhand me, you fiends," my mother falsely exclaims, grunting against Zane's grip. Their leader starts walking towards us, speaking an unknown language. The boys shrug and starts saying random things.
"Let me go," I slightly raise my voice as the leader starts to get suspicious. "That's right, you caught us. But, we'll never tell you where our base it," Misako steps up to the leader. "You won't hear another peep from me unless you take us to Garmadon."
I watch as she taps her leg twice. "Ah! Let go of me!" I kick against Cole, but even with his strength he still struggled to hold me. "I'm sorry," I whisper to him as the leader has other come and grab me, along with my mother.

I grunt against the actual warrior's grip as they shove me into a cage, putting the boys on guards. "Dang it," I shout pulling on the metal bars. "Great, now we don't know where Misako is, and (Y/n) is stuck in here," Jay groans.
"We have to you out of here without causing a disruption."
"Nice idea Zane, but the problem is there's warriors everywhere!"
"Look," I point to where a guard has the keys to the cage. "Get him over here."
The boys give me a weird look but say random words.
The guards walks over to the cage. He says something in the language.
"Hey, can I get out of here," I groan in a child-like voice.
He makes a sound of a no.
"Why," I whine, getting closer to the guard. I suddenly reach out and grab his armor, secretly grabbing the key.
I smile crazily and let him go with a confused look. As he walks away I grin and slip the key into Cole's hand.
"When my mother grabs the helmet unlock me."
He nods kissing my cheek before walking away, leaving me a blushing mess.
———————————
"Really," I sarcastically say as I watch the boys spin into their suits and start attacking the warriors. "They can never stay undercover," I sigh, shoving myself against the bars, trying to break through them.
I smirk, watching the boy's mouths move from under their hoods as they say quips while attacking the warriors. Multiple grab me from cage, "Guess there's no use for the key now," I throw myself to the warriors, scaring them slightly.
They strap me onto this huge robot as my father gets into it, "Daughter," he asks, "What a surprise to see you here." The others gasp as they see me. "Return the helmet i'll be fine," I shout back as every movement loosens the ropes.
Jay runs towards the suit and flips over the sword, dodging it, but looses momentum and gets thrown back. "Keep attacking," I yell as one foot comes loose. Cole uses his sword and throws rocks at him, but my father effortlessly cuts them up, my other foot coming loose.
Kai surround us with fire. I scream as I get closer and closer to it. Garmadon wraps one of the robot's arms around me as he walks through the fire, my arms getting untied.
Suddenly Nya pops out of the ground with the fixed up car. She slams into Garmadon's robot, sending us falling back, my waist getting loose. With Cole's help, I get into the vehicle. "Hang on," she says as we go back into the ground.
"Cool hat! I wonder if it'll make me more menacing," I hear Jay yell over the warriors shouts from behind us. We all scream as suddenly a stone warrior hops onto the vehicle with a growl. "We need to go faster," I shout as Misako grabs my hand. "We can't!"
Nya yells and slams her foot down on the gas and the warrior flies off. "We're losing them," Jay cheers as the warrior vehicles slowly fall back. The ground starts to rumble as Garmadon's robot gets closer.
"You won't get away from me, Misako." Nya turns the car roughly as we plow down bamboo trees. "Nya, open the top," I shout as I get on top of the vehicle. I take out my sword and swing it, letting a tendril of darkness fly out, successfully hitting my father. It slows him for a second before he's up again.
"Have we lost him?" I hop back into my seat, "Not quite." He grabs the vehicle and throws it. We all scream and grunt as we roll across the ground. "It's stuck," Nya yells as the top doesn't open. "I finally have you Ninja in the palm of my hand," He says.
"Let them go," I hear Lloyd shout as he blows away our father with a blast of his power. Nya successfully opens the top and I quickly hop out, but get grabbed by Cole. "Bro, hit him!"
"Take the shot!"
"He's vulnerable!"
"Do not hesitate!"
Lloyd silences the others. "No," I whisper, slumping to the ground with Cole as I watch Lloyd create a ball of energy in his hands. "What is he doing?" I look up to see Garmadon cackling while my brother pants "He didn't do it."
"Lloyd, come on," I shout getting into the vehicle. I sit on Cole's lap while Lloyd takes my seat. Nya turns the vehicle around and digs back into the ground.
——————————
"Woah," I gasp as we make it to the clock. "This clock is a mechanical masterpiece." We hop out of the vehicle. "You are welcome to dismantle once we stop it," my mother says, Nya looks at me and grins.
"There's only a couple minutes left!"
"Everyone, look for the helmet's perch! It could be anywhere."
"You don't know where to return the helmet," I hear Sensei asks as I look around. "It has a resting place somewhere." She tries to put it down and looks to the clock, but it doesn't stop. I see a head shaped tower connected, "Here!"
I flip up and place the helmet on, but the clock keeps going. "Perhaps I've found the perch!" Misako hands the helmet to Zane, he tries his place but it doesn't stop the clock, "No, wrong place."
"What about here?" Zane tosses the helmet to Jay, "Nope."
"Could this be the place," Sensei asks. Jay throws the helmet to Sensei but Kozu pushes Wu, grabbing the helmet.
"There's only thirty seconds left. I believe it is time to-," he gets cut off as one of the rotating portions of the clock knocks it out of his hand. "Get the helmet!"
Cole runs up the clock, a warrior on his tail. They fight for the helmet, Cole eventually getting it, but he trips and drops it. "Ah! The helmet's perch," my mother gasps as it lands near the perch.
"Mon, hurry!" She grabs the helmet and puts it onto the perch, stopping the clock. "It worked." I cheer happily. Cole hugs me.
Suddenly loud horns start playing as the clock starts to move. "No," I shout fearfully."
"The Horns of Destruction, We're too late."
The warriors start to surround us. They grab me, putting on these contraptions, stopping me from using my powers. The boys yell as the ground beneath them starts to break, separating them from Nya and I.
"Help," Nya screams as they toss me over. I barely grab on, watching the boys plummet into the water. I scream their names as they pull me back up.
"Cole! Lloyd! Guys!"
Nya lets out a ear-piercing scream as they threaten to push her off, the others watching us from the ground. "Nya, look at me," I begin to speak, but cut myself off with a throat-tearing yell as cut open the scars on my stomach and shove dark matter into it.
"(Y/n)," they all yell.
