(After being pursued to Sensei Garmadon's monastery by the Nindroids, the ninjas sneak back into Ninjago City under the disguise of a circus train.)

Season Three: Episode Two

"Aah, perfect place to to lay low," Lloyd says and I push the rest of the branches over my vehicle. "No robots, no cameras, no problems."

Nya walks over to us, "still, if any aerial drones pass overhead, you better wear this." She hands him his own tech suit. "It will scramble their signal so they can't find you."

"Lloyd," I hear a voice say. We all turn around and see our mother. She runs up to us and hugs Lloyd and I. "Mum?"

"What are you all doing here?"
"The Overlord's back and New Ninjago City has fallen under his control."
"He has Sensei Wu," I sigh.

"Wu's tough. There's a reason he's lived as long as he has."
"But," I start, "where's dad?"
"Yeah, where is Lord Garmadon," Kai adds.

"He no longer goes but Lord. Here, he is Sensei Garmadon. And he won't be back until this evening's lesson"

"Did you just say Sensei Garmadon," Jay asks wildly.
"I'm glad he's on our side now. With Sensei Wu gone, we could use the help."
"Can you show us there mom," I ask.

"Come on, But your weapons are not allowed. Ever since Lloyd saved his father, Garmadon's sworn an oath to never fight in hope to make up for his evil past."
Nya and my mother keep walking.

"But we were supposed to protect these with our lives," Kai says.
"And never let them out of our sight," Jay adds.

"You guys go on ahead, I will stay back and watch over them," Zane says.
"Thanks," I smile, sliding off the wrist guards.

"Pass it to me," I shout to the kids playing ball. One of them kicks it and I catch it, throwing it back towards them.

As they run towards us, they completely pass by the boys, staying with me and Lloyd.
"Can I get a hug, purple ninja?"
I laugh, bending down to hug the boy.

I back away as the boys join in, playing with the kids. I smile, looking at Cole as he lets the kids hang in his arms.
I then bite my lips as I look to Kai, who has a kid laughing on his shoulders.

"Ladies, I recognize that look."
"Huh? What do you mean?"
"What look? I wasn't looking?"

"Two boys, one heart?"
Nya looks at me, "you too?"
"Are we that obvious," I ask, answering Nya's question.

We all sit on the training mats.
"Ah, my children, so glad you could join us," My father emerges.

"Hey, good to see you," I smile.
"Heh, it's been a while," Lloyd waves.

Jay whispers to Cole, stopping when my father hit him on the head with his staff.
"Silence, tonight's lesson is the Art of the Silent Fist, to fight without fighting."

My father starts to show his student, Lloyd volunteering. I start to lean towards Nya as they begin, Lloyd failing to hit my father.

"You did the matchmaker?"
"Yeah, it probably doesn't mean anything," she reassured. "You're probably right," I sigh.
"Who did you get?"
I freeze, "it doesn't matter."

I watch as Lloyd flies into the pole.
"Come here my daughter, your turn."
I get up smirking as I do so.
"There's no way," Kai says sarcastically, "if Lloyd can't, how will she?"

"She's probably the only one that has a chance against him if I failed," Lloyd says. "I mean she can beat me in combat."

I send Kai a playful eye roll, stopping as I remember the matchmaker.
He lets me go first, ducking under my kick, and jumping over the sweep of my legs

"Don't attack first, it'll make you seem greedy, wanting."
He roll under my legs and swiftly runs and I miss a punch to his chest.

"If they attack first, they put more trust into their strength, not their actions."
I fall to the floor as he bends back, dodging a kick to the chest.

"Give up," he smirks. I shake my head, panting.
"I got this."

I get up, rolling my shoulders and fake a punch to his stomach as he moves away from the pretend punch I side-sweep his legs, and he's falls down.
"Good."

"Now, let's divide into groups."

"Guy, everyone stop," I hold out my arms, silencing everyone.
We all hear a loud scream from outside the monastery.
"The Techno Blades!"

We run out. "It's Pixal. But how did she find us," Cole says as Zane brings us a tied-up Pixal.
"How about we take her apart to find out?"

"Please, she was only doing what she was programmed to do," Zane stops Kai, "she may hold many answers, but perhaps there is an easier way."

Zane holds up his Techno Blade, putting it to her forehead and turning her good.
"Where am I? Why am I tied up?"

"You were under the control of the Overlord. How did you find us?"
"They've mines Sensei Wu's memory. The Overlord knows all of your hiding places."

"He what," I exclaim, being held back by Lloyd. "Is he okay?"
"Yes, but the Overlord wants your son. His golden power is the only way he can escape the digital realm and become real."

"Why did Borg give us the Techno Blades to protect? Why are they so important," Kai asks. "Because together, they can reboot the system, wipe the master computer clean, and destroy the Overlord Virus for good."

Pixal gasps our of nowhere. "What is it," I pull on my guards.
"I didn't come alone."
"Who else is with you," Jay asks.
"Nindroids."

"But, I don't see any of them," Nya says, looking around.
Suddenly they all resolve, surrounding us.
"Screw it," I grunt, running towards the Nindroids.

The guards elongate into swords. I swing one towards one of the Nindroids but they grab it and toss me back.
"These nindroids are so much faster."

"Ninja go," Lloyd and I say in sync as we both use Spinjitzu to get the nindroids off of Zane, barely saving him.

"We need to get out of here!" We all run inside, going to the back where the river is.
"Anyone want to make a path?"

"Yeah, I've got an idea."

"I won't be long until they figure out we used autopilot," I jump out of my spot. "We should get a move on."

"I'll stay and look after the monastery, Lloyd and Garmadon go with them," my mother says, walking away.

"Wait. If he wants me, and the Techno Blades are the only thing that can stop him, shouldn't we split up?"
"Smart. Lloyd, you and dad take what you need to get as far away as possible, use Nya's Samurai X cave if you need to," I tell them.

"What are you guys gonna do? Those nindroids aren't gonna let you step one foot into the city."

"We're gonna shut down the power."

"We can get you just outside of the Storm Farms, but you'll have to get to the Power Substation on your own," the circus driver explains.

They disappear into smoke. "So Nya, shuttling down this power substation can we really destroy the Overlord and his nindroids by simply flipping the switch," Cole asks.

"Cripple, yes. Destroy, no. Once we've powered down his army, we still need to reboot the central computer with the Techno Blades."
"Wait," I stop Nya, "don't forget, since he knows we have them, they aren't gonna let us just waltz in."

Jay stutters before talking clearly, "if shutting down the power turns off everything connected to it, wouldn't that mean Pixal too?"

"Speaking of which, where are they?"

"Hey, where are they others," I ask Kai.
"I don't know, let's go find them," he grabs my hands, Jay catching up to us.

"Don't tell me what," Jay says as we enter the room. I look at Nya and Cole holding hands, but quickly pulling away.
"Oh, uh...," I pretend not to notice.
"We're here."

We all hop out and watch the electricity spike around us. "Looks like we have a welcoming party," Kai says as the power substation is filled with nindroids.

"They only chance we have of getting in there is to stay out of sight," I glare slightly as Nya and Cole, he looks at me.
"Well, let's go be ninja."

We all hope onto the top floor, getting into the main station.
"That's the substation core, shut that down, and it's light out for the Overlord."

I slip my mask over my mouth, before running over and trying all of the buttons.
Music starts playing too loudly. "Turn it off! They can't know we're here," Kai says from beside me.

"These aren't doing anything! There has to be a better way." I groan as Kai walks over to the core.
"Yeah, maybe like just hack the system?"
He swings his blade but immediately falls back as it does nothing.

"Argh! Stupid technology.
"This can't be harder than it looks," Cole tries using his weapon but bounces back, shaking from the vibrations. "Okay, definitely harder."

The room starts to blink red, alarms go off. "We've blown out cover!"

"Seal the doors and find a way to shut it down."
I groan and let my guards turn into the swords, stabbing at the core. It makes a small 'clink' and I bounce back.
"Ugh!"

"Pixal! She's out there!"
Zane runs out just as the door closes. "He's crazy!"

A smaller nindroid falls through the door. "What! Are they having kids now?"

I back up, alongside Cole and Kai as the mini-nindroid come closer. He starts spinning really fast.
"Hack him with the Techno Blade," Kai suggests.

Cole tries but it does nothing. "I gotta hand it to the runt, he doesn't know when to quit," I pant.

"Quit," The nindroid asks, firing a laser. Cole jumps out of the way at the last second.
"That's it! Fight without fighting!"
The laser hits the core and cracks.

"Hey, midget I'm right here," I taunt, dodging the oncoming ray.
"We need to provoke him more," Kai says jumping over the ray. "Or more nindroids."

"Nya open the door!"
"I see where you're headed."

More Nindroids come in. We jump into action, dodging all of the lasers.
"It's working!"

I flip to my hands and propel myself over Jay. As the little one jumps towards him, he jumps out of the way, making the nindroid break the core.

I get hit with a blast of energy, knocking me into Kai.
"We did it," Kai cheers as we get outside.
I see Zane holding Pixal.

She starts malfunctioning. "She's needs power." Her arm falls limp to the side.
