(Lloyd unlocks a second tribe, the Fangpyres, to help him regain control. The ninjas take action when the Fangpyres attack Jays family's village.)

I wake up to the sound of Sensei banging a gong to wake us up. I pull my sheet over my head trying to block out the sound but to no avail, it doesn't work.

"Evil doesn't sleep, and neither should you. In order to reach your full potential, we must greet each day as an opportunity."

"You call that sleep, my bed has more lumps than the mattress," Cole groans. "We were up so late talking about how cool it is to have a new headquarters I guess we lost track of time."

I fall as the wall I lean on caves in, "What is our lesson today Sensei," Zane asks as he tries to do a move but falls through the floor.

"I think today's lesson will be chores," Sensei says, "chores," we all yell.

"Ninja fight, Sensei they do not clean."
"In order to respect ourselves, we must respect our new home and where we are from, "Sensei says, "and this place is a long way from becoming ninja headquarters."

"Alright let's get this places cleaned up."

I grabbed a wet towel and placed it on the floor, stepping on it. "Ninja go," I yelled spinning around using the towel to clean the floor. As I stopped I saw Cole walking back from putting the garbage out, "wow good job," he says, "thanks."

As I head back down stairs to fix the walls the lights in the room come on making me smile. Once I finished fixing the wall I went back up to help the boys pull the sails. We finished everything pretty quickly so we went back to playing games.

"What took you so long," Kai said sarcastically as Sensei entered the room, "wow! This place looks amazing."

"You guys did all this," Nya asks, "Ninja don't just fight Nya. We clean," Cole says.
"Oh. You have exceeded my expectations, but can you keep it up," Sensei asks.

Nya and I hear a horn honk so we look out the window and see a car driving towards us, "looks like we're about to have some visitors," Nya says, "and loud ones at that," I add quietly.

"Oh it's my parent, if they start tapping please don't encourage them. They don't know when to quit. If you start talking then they'll start, and suddenly half the days I'd gone and," Jay starts rambling but gets cut off by Kai, "okay we get it. The cherry doesn't fall far from the blossom."

They all walk out of the room to go say hi but I stay in not wanting to talk to new people. "You okay," Cole asks seeing me not move.

"Yeah I'm fine I just need to do something," I mumble.
"Yeah I don't believe you," Cole gives me a look but leaves the room nonetheless.

I take a deep breath and stand up hearing the soft beeping noise from the bridge.

I walk inside and see on the map a red dots signaling a distress signal. As I look closer I see that it's not from the Hypnobrai. I click a few keys on the keyboard and zoom in seeing Fangpyres. "What are they doing," I whisper to myself.
"Lloyd must have released them," I groan, "little bro why do you have to be on dads side."

I hear Jay's voice get closer as he enters the room with his parents and the others. "Oh hello," Jay's dad says waving towards me. I give a shy smile back quickly walking out.

A few minutes later Jay's parents leave as it gets dark. Nya walks out of the bridge and I stop her to talk.
"Hey Nya, I've got something to tell you," I say as she turned to me.
"Yeah," she says, "in the map there was distress signals of the Fangpyre but I couldn't find the exact location."
What," she asks surprised," I thought they were locked in their tombs."
"Lloyd must've uncovered them," I sigh, "we need to watch out."
"Sure, thanks (Y/n)," Nya says giving me a hug, going to say goodbye to Jay's parents. I wave shyly to be nice.

I walk over over to Alastair and hug him. He rumbles as his scales are shedding. "You're going to leave soon aren't you," I say sadly to which he nudges me.

Jay comes next to me trying to get Whisp, his dragon to move by he won't. "The dragons are molting. They're shedding their scales," Sensei Wu says as he walks next to Jay.

"Huh," I say while Jay asks, "what does that mean?"
"Every dragon goes through a transformation before it becomes an adult. We must allow them to migrate east to the Spirit Coves for their transformations."

I sigh and hug Alastair tightly before unlocking his chains and letting him free along with the other dragons. Cole runs and grabs my hand as we start walking with the others, "we're going to visit Jay's parents and I wanted you to come," I nod giving him a smile.

Alastair pushes Cole away from me protectively making me laugh, "Hey," he yells as he stumbles. We stay in the back of the group as the others talk and the dragons fly away. "Sensei, will we see them again," I softly groan, "I don't know, we shall see."

"So...will you tell me why you didn't want to say hello to Jay's parents," Cole started. "My...uh," I stuttered, "my parents...uh dad...didn't let me meet new people and I guess that's why I was so hesitant." He nods giving me a side hug before talking again, "what about that letter, what it from your dad," he asks.

"Yeah, it...it's nothing," I sigh, "Are you sure," he asks as I reply, "yeah," he gives me another hug before we catch up to the others as we arrive.

I almost run into Jay as he stops abruptly, "What is it?"
"It's quiet," Jay says, "my family's never quiet."

He runs into the junkyard with us following behind. I slip my hood on and raise my hands as we get inside.

A fridge starts to move so jay walks over to it and opens it. I look and see his parents, "you gotta get out of here!"

They are locked up with chains and look a bit green. "It's the snakes," his father says. Sensei says it's the Fangpyres making Nya and I look at each other nodding.

I hear loud hissing and around the corner comes these vehicles that have been turned into weapons by the snakes. Purple and black smoke appears around me as a stand defensively, ready to attack.

"Uh. Is that wrecking ball staring at me," Cole asks as it comes flying towards us. I jump out of the way, everyone else doing the same, as Jay pushes his parents out of the way.

"Lloyd," Sensei and I both say.
"Hello uncle and big sis," he says making the ninjas turn to me and Sensei, mostly me, "looks like we're not the only ones having a family reunion."

Next to him stands the leader of the Fangpyers, "I see you brought the ninja. I could use some help taking out the trash."

He cackles as Nya explain how the antivenin in the staff will return his parents back to normal. We all jump out of the way as the wrecking ball comes back.
"Nobody messes with my family," Jay yells before attacking the snakes.

I run up a pile of tires towards Lloyd and the leader but stopped but a large vehicle. "Ninja go," I yell spinning up the tail of the vehicle and kicking off the driver, along with the other snakes before I'm tossed back.

I grunt getting myself back up. "(Y/n)," Cole yells as he kneels down clasping his hands together. I smirk and run towards him.

As I step on his hand he flips me backwards landing on a few snakes. "Wow nice," I grab his hand running towards the others. Loud music starts playing making me groan at the choice of terrible music.
"You've always has a terrible choice in music," I say under my breath

We catch up to the others, "Ninja go," we all yell chasing a few snakes around a piles of scrap metal. Loud, thudding footsteps shake the ground as a large, green robot thing steps into view.

The robot swings its weapon, narrowly missing us as it hits the ground. The wrecking ball swings at us again and we jump out of the way.
"Wait, why is there only four of us," Kai questions seeing Jay gone.

Jay takes control of the crane as the robot swings down on Cole as he hold his weapon up. "I got it," he groans, the weight of the robot's weapon straining him.

Jay slams the wrecking ball into the robot knocking it down. "See I told you I had it," Cole says snarky making me lightly hit him.
"Retreat," Lloyd yells as the snakes all run.

I grunt running towards him but get hit by the staff knocking me onto my back. "Ow," I groan in pain as Cole helps me up. Lloyd and the others snakes all jump on different vehicles and drive away.

"Dang it," I yell as the fly away with the staff. "Right now would be a very good time to have those dragons," Jay says.
"There is still a way," Sensei says getting our attention, "part of reaching your full potential is understanding your weapon's potential. Its secrets and powers can get unlocked if it is in tune with a focused heart."

"What? That doesn't make sense."
"He means our weapons can be vehicles themselves," Zane explains.
"Concentrate on unlocking your weapons potential."

They all use their weapons and they all turn into vehicles. Kai's, Zane's, and Cole's turn into land vehicles while Jay's turns into a plane.

They all stay in there vehicles waiting for me. I take a deep breath letting balls of opaque smoke run alongs my arms. A feeling of pressure is felt throughout my body then I'm in a plane type thing.
"Awesome," I cheer.

Jay flies up with me following and we cheer spinning and flying while the others are driving fast.
"Woohoo," Jay cheered over the revving of the others cars. I hold back letting Jay take the staff but he over shoots it missing.

I laugh as he awkwardly turns around and flys back, grabbing the staff but he seems the struggle to keep his plane in the air.

Jay looses focus and starts to fall leaving us to try to catch him but we also loose focus and our vehicles disappear. I land hard in the sand as the others groan as they also fall.
Jay lands in his parents truck as Nya drives right under him.

As the Fangpyers get closer I try to convert my power into the vehicle but it doesn't work. Nya pulls up behind us and we jump in not able to create our vehicles.

Nya drives off towards the headquarters with the Fangpyers on our tails. I use my powers to throw a huge blast towards them slowing them a little, but they still gain on us.

I run into the bridge just for me to stumble over as we take flight. I catch Nya as she falls, loosing hold of the staff.

We fly away leaving the Fangpyers behind.
