(Using their new Airjitzu powers, the ninjas race to climb a perilous mountain to find the Sword of Sanctuary before Morro can claim it.)

Season Five: Episode Five

I expertly touch the flag using Airjitzu. The boys gape at it. "Argh, it's not fair," Kai whines. The new suits were heavy, but they helped against ghosts.

"(Y/n), please go talk to him," Nya pleads to me, referring to Cole. "I tried, he doesn't want to see me," I sigh, but nonetheless, go to Cole's room.

He slouched on the end of his bed. I sigh, seeing straight through his green-hued figure. "Cole, come train."

"In case you haven't heard, I'm a ghost," he yells. "And don't tell me we can't fix this, cause we can't. This is just...who I am now." His hand goes through the tea cup he tried to pick up. My heart shatters at his sad aura.

"Sensei told us, our paths in life are never a straight line," I murmur, going to his side. "Hey, take me for instance, I'm the daughter of Lord Garmadon, he used to be evil. I always thought I would follow in his footsteps, but look, I'm in a team with the best of ninjas, including you."

"But I'm not a ninja anymore," he gasps. "I'm a ghost." My happy mood worsens. He really has no hope. "Then what do you do? You need to answer that for yourself."

"I-I- thank you," Cole jumps up, doing his best to hug me. I smile, doing my best to hug back.

"Now that both Morro and you have Airjitzu, it's time to turn our attention to the next clue, the sword in the cloud," Misako says. Zane goes on to list multiple swords...in a pirate accent?

"I thought you fixed his voice?" Kai asks, leaning over. I listen to their conversation, nodding along. "Yeah?"
"I did, then i made it better," Jay beams.

Zane continues to list the many swords he knows. I sigh, chuckling as Cole face palms. "Hey, gotta love them," I mutter, making Cole laugh.

"You're right, he is better," Kai cheers, getting hit my Nya.
"It's the sword of sanctuary," my mother confirms. "It's protected in the Cloud Kingdom."

"The who-what? I've seen every inch of ninjago, but I've never heard of the Cloud Kingdom," Ronan cuts in.

"You're right, it isn't in ninjago. It's a parallel realm that can be only reached through the Blind Man's eye," Sensei informs. I raise an eyebrows, Jay also questioning.

"You mean the powerful storm cyclone above the clouds? But it's far too high in altitude for the Bounty to reach," Nya explains. Kai looks at me, looking lost. I shrug my shoulder, not really understanding myself.

"Unless we ascend the tallest mountain in ninjago," my mother says. I jump up, knowing what it is. "The Wailing Alps!"

"Yes, when the Blind's Man Eye passes its peak, you Five ninja will jump into the eye of the storm using Airjitzu to cross over into the Cloud Kingdom, to take possession of the Sword of Santuary."

"Woah," Jay cuts in, "You're throwing some pretty big words around. You've got one wrong. It's cyclonedo not Airjitzu." I laugh as Zane and Kai both hit Jay.

"What does it do," Cole asks. "The blade shows their enemies next move, giving them a great advantage," Sensei fills us in.

My eyebrows raise. That's a huge advantage, we need it. "This is very important. This is about saving Lloyd."

The ship had begun to freeze over, all of us, beside Zane and Cole, shiver from the low temperatures. "It's freezing," I says, teeth chattering.

We hop into our own mechs, readying then. "Without your mechs, you'll never be able to survive the extreme conditions on your own," Nya informs.
"So helpful," I joke through my freezing cold body. I pull hood up, zipping up my snow jacket.

She playfully glares at me. "You'll only have one chance when you get to the peak, don't miss."
Cole gives me a sorrow look.

"I don't know guys, you've had time to practice. Maybe I should sit this one out," Cole mutters.

"Don't even think about it," I say.
"You may be a ghost, but you're still apart of the team," Kai adds.
"And if it weren't for you getting the first clue, we wouldn't be here," Jay joins.
"So what are you going to do," I ask.

He smiles, glaring daggers into the floor. "Open the hanger doors!"
I get a spike of fear and a blast of cold air when the hanger doors open.

"Is anyone getting that tingling feeling," Jay cheers. "Yeah, frostbite," Kai whimpers. Our mechs are let go.

I land, then Jay, Zane, Kai...and Cole? Cole plunges into the snow. "Are you okay," Kai gasps. Jay and I use our mechs to help him up.

"Gotta work on that landing. Hey, you sure you want me along?"

I sniff my nose, turning Cole. "Hey, we all have our bad days.

"We'll pick you up so next time you can return the favor," Jay says. "Jay be right. The only way up he mountain is if we're a hardy crew," Zane adds, his voice still having a pirate accent.

"Zane, what could it be," I ask, staring down at the tracks. They seemed fresh. We should watch out. "We nod be the first one to climb this pass today," Zane says, approving my suspicions.
"Great," I groan.

I begin to hear wailing, the winds growing stronger. "Wind gust! Anchor down," Zane shouts. I dog my blades into the ground, anchoring down.

The winds are stronger than anticipated, throwing us all off balance. "Hold on," Kai says, keeping his ground, also grabbing my mech. "I can't balance," Cole shouts.

Just as his mech falls, Zane grabs onto his, keeping him on the mountain. "Alright, lets keep going," I say, urging them on.

I begin to hear more wailing, but it's different from the wind gusts: it's more high pitched, like a girls scream. "Is it another gust," Cole asks.

Snow comes barreling down the mountain. "Avalanche!"
We all turn and start running down the mountain. I yelp, my mech being picked up by the avalanche  it destroys it piece by piece.

A rock beats into my mech, destroying it completely. I scream, getting thrown into the air, Zane grabbing me before it happens. I watch as Kai and Jay's mechs get obliterated. "Cole concentrate!"

"Blimey, we're trapped," Zane says, his mech staying in one piece as it grab Jay and Kai. Suddenly, as we edge near the cliff, a snow monster jumps up, saving us from falling to our death. "Is that you, Cole?"

"Just picking you up to return the favor," he jokes. "You possesses the snow," Kai says, us all awing at the sight.

I sigh. "We're down three mechs. How are we going to catch up?"
Cole smirks, possessing Zane's mech. We hop on as Cole starts running, the mech going faster than normal.

We start climbing, gaining ground. "You know, this ghost thing isn't so bad," Cole cheers.

"The hanging temple, we're not far." Suddenly, an arrow flies Kai's way. I push him out of the way, getting hit myself. "No! Not again," I hear Jay shout.

I get up, feeling normal. "Guys, the armor works!" We get picked up and thrown onto the flooring of the Hanging Temple with a scream.

As we see Morro, we start to chase him. Bansha screams, causing us to have to jump out of the way from falling icicles. Goul Tar barely gives me enough time to dodge an oncoming attack from his own mech, leaving me to hang off the wood.

A gust of winds knocks my hand off the wood, but Cole catches me before i fall. He winds stops, Zane takes care of Goul Tar and the mech.

"Zane, let's go," I grab him as he throws his mech, along with the ghost, off the cliff. The bridge under us turns to a ghost.

"How does that even happen," I ask, gasping for air as we continue to run. "I have no idea, but we need to get to the top!"

Jay slips on an icicle, getting caught by Cole. "We're going to miss Blind Man's Eye," Kai shouts, climbing faster up the mountain.

"We need to do Cyclondo!" I'm guessing, it's what they call Airjitzu. "What if I don't make it," Cole whimpers. I grab his hand, readying myself. "We'll catch you."

Kai goes first, the. Jay and Zane. They all make it. Cole whimpers, muttering to himself. "I can't do this."

"Cole,"I shout, catching his attention. "You can do this, I believe in you." I jump off, doing it and making it to the top. "Cole, I'm here!"

I watch as Cole makes it up, barely, but makes it. He runs up to me and hugs me. "You did it," I smile.
"We've got one shot," Kai shouts, getting into position.

"Cyclondo!"
