(Back in training mode with the looming threat of Lloyd and the Hypnobrai, Zane wanders after a Falcon and lands himself on a heap of trouble)

Season One: Episode Two

I wake up to the noice of grunting and sigh, getting out of bed to change. Once I've changed I put my wrist guards on and head to the training center where all the boys are standing near Sensei.

The gong crashes signaling mail. We all run to the doors as the mailman hands us each a letter. I take a seat and read the note.

Dear daughter,
I am taking time out of my day to write to you saying I am very sorry for my lack of connection with you and I hope you can forgive me. I haven't heard from Lloyd at all so if you know anything about him please tell.
Sincerely, your father, Lord Garmadon.

I roll my eyes and growl, letting smoke cover my hands and destroy the note, leaving behind black ash, "all he cares about is him!"
"Are you okay," Cole asks as he heads down to the dragons, "I heard you yell."
I look down at my hands still seeing the smoke so I take a breath and nod, "yeah I'm fine."

We all gather around the table for dinner as it was Zane's night to cook.
"Mm I love it when it's Zane's night to cook," Jay speaks as he shoves another shrimp in his mouth.
"Hey, I didn't hear any complaints about my duck chowder last night," Cole says as Kai gets ready to reply, "that's because it glued out mouths shut. You really thought Jay was speechless all through dinner?"

Cole looks towards me and I give him a sideways smile. "Yeah don't ever make that again," Jay says.

"Dinner is served," Zane says as he lays down a turkey. They all start to laugh as I give Zane a sorry smile. "Zane why are you wearing that," Nya speaks, "even I wouldn't wear that."

"You laugh because I take steps to ensure I am clean after cooking?"
"No we laugh because you came out wearing that ridiculous outfit," Kai says.
"I guess we don't share the same sense of humor."

Well how about this," Cole says throwing a plate into Kai's face. I chuckle as it slides of his face before everyone starts throwing food at each other.
Zane frowns before leaving the room.

The next day Zane said he has found something and leads us into these woods. We all pant and struggle to keep up with Zane.

"I don't even think Zane knows where he's going," Kai says as we catch up to him, "tell us how you manage to stumble across Lloyd's secret headquarters?"
"I followed a bird," was his reply.
"Why," I dragged out the 'y', "because it danced."

"Oh. okay. Was it a cuckoo bird," Jay asks making us all laugh except for Zane who starts speaking about how cuckoo birds aren't indigenous to these forests before running off making us run after him. We stop at the top of a small hill and look at the base.

It was suspended by trees and Lloyd had the Hypnobrai build it. We could hear him shout orders to the snakes. "We can't let that brat and those snakes get a foothold in Ninjago," Kai says to which I add, "we got to destroy that thing before it becomes operational."
Jay whines talking about how it's a cool treehouse and we ignore him.

"Alright guys what to we do," Cole asks hitting his fists together. "It looks like the entire place is being supported by those three trees," Kai point to the trees that have the ropes around them, "once those ties are severed, the whole thing is gonna fall like a house of cards."

"Why would one make a house of cards? Such construction would be careless."
"Oh gosh," I says patting Zane's head.
"Travel in shadows boys," Cole says grabbing my hands and flipping away, "easy for us," he adds

Cole gets underneath the elevator type things while I make my way up a tree. We all meet up near the top and watch Lloyd talk to a snake before pulling a level and yelling "booby trap".

I run up one of the ties with Cole and wait for the others to cut theirs. Zane and Jay cut theirs and the treehouse is ready to fall.
"Close wait till we're off the treehouse," Kai yells towards us.

"I will obey your every command," Cole whispers as he puts his weapon to my throat, "Cole! What are you doing?"

He tosses me over the ledge and I grab it just in times for him to walk towards the others ninjas. I grunt trying to pull myself up but the trees is leaning backwards causing me to lose grip. I swing my legs out and backflip, landing on the top of the base where the others are trying to stop Cole.

"He's under their control," Zane says, "he needs to snap out of it."
I try to jump on Cole's back but he pushed me forwards and I almost fall off again but Kai grabs my arms, helping me get up.

"This place looks like it's about to go down," Jay yells over the crashing of the trees.
Cole gets closer to us and we're on the edge at this point. "Come on friends don't hit friends."
At that Cole kicks Jay in the face.

"What are we supposed to do? If I use my sword this place with go up in flames," Kai says as we dodge another attack.
"Isn't the antivenin in the staff?"
"Yeah, but the staff is back at the monastery," Jay replies.

Cole kicks Kai, and Zane saves him before he can fall completely off, "Jay use your lighting," I yell. "Shock him out of his trance."

Jay says sorry before he sends a shock of electricity towards Cole. It's doesn't do anything but make him mad.

Cole kicks Jay off but Jay manages to get to safety as Cole runs up the ties and gets ready to cut it.

"No Cole!"

A soft flute sound was heard making Cole snap out of his trance before he could cut the rope.
Sensei and Nya are flying Kai's dragon with Alastair begins them we all hop on before the treehouse collapses. Cole gets on Alastair with me as the others get on with Sensei.

I fly beside Sensei.
"That flute," Jay says excitedly, "it cancels their powers!"

"It's as old as the Serpentine themselves," Sensei Wu says, "but we must hurry. The monastery's unguarded!"

We make our way to the monastery just to see it in flames. "Ugh those snakes," I growl. I hop off as Cole runs to let the dragons out.
Zane's dragon, Shard, puts out the fire.
"Everything's gone," I yell, "they stole their staff back," Sensei adds.

"If you hadn't followed that silly bird, none of this would've happened," Kai yells at Zane. Sensei warns Kai, "no. Sensei, he's right. Because of you, my high score has been deleted."
"This is a teaching moment," Zane tries to says, "we must learn from this."
"A teaching moment," Cole starts, "What is wrong with you? Don't you get it? Everything is gone!"

"Can you guys stop," I scream as Sensei yells 'enough'.

Nya comes to my side to calm me down as my hands had started to shake, "we are all at fault. Zane is your brother, apologize at once."

They turn around to say sorry but Zane isn't there. I look beyond them and see Shard flying away with Zane.

"Look what you did," I growl.

We all use our dragon to fly to an empty mountain and set up camp there. While the others are eating I sit on Alastair's legs and caress his scales. "I'm sorry," I say, "I shouldn't have left you guys there."
He nudged my face with his wings telling me it's okay.

"Zane," I hear Nya yell so I look to my left and see Zane. I run up to him along with the others, "we're sorry for everything we said."
"We're a team and that means we're all responsible."

"You don't need to apologize to me," Zane replies, "but what about all those awful things we said," Kai asks, "isn't that why you left?"
"Of course not. I saw the falcon again and followed him."

We all smile at him and hug him, "What? Is it my turn to make dinner," we all laugh.
"Sure," Sensei says.

"But I already made it," he says confusing us, "Come, I want to show you what I found, I think you will all be pleased."
We decide to follow him.

He brings us to a cool dragon ship, "our new home." We all cheer and runs towards the ship laughing. Zane and Sensei soon joined us.

We all laugh at a joke Kai said before Zane threw a tray of food towards Cole causing a food fight to start. We end the day laughing and having fun.
