I land on the ground roughly, Morro shoving me up onto my feet. He pulls me by my suit and into the shop Ronin owned.

Before he places the Crystal onto the pedestal I push it out of his hands, falling straight after. "You won't succeed, Morro," I groan, head twitching as my hands began turning grey. "The ninja will stop you."

"It's such a shame that you will die before they do," he mutters, placing the Crystal onto the pedestal. Bansha, Ghoul Tar, Wraith, and Soul Archer come from it. "You're looking a little grey," Bansha taunts. "It seems the venom has finally come into act."

"It couldn't have traveled through generation, could it," I ask, despite them being on the bad side. My body was weakening and I feel to the floor, veins turning grey.

"It could with your powers," Bansha laughs. "Too bad, the only way to kill it is killing the Preeminent."
I smirk, Bansha not realizing she gave me the upper hand.

"Speaking of Preeminent, how long until she's ready," Morro cuts off our talk, angrily shuffling around. He puts a chain around my waist, keeping my in place.

"Her energy is still too strong to cross the ethereal divide," Wraith says. I desperately try to send a message to Lloyd.
"I...t...s...do....ne...."

I slump, my body far too weak to send the needed message.
"The longer the gateway stays open, the stronger it becomes. We must prepare for her arrival," Bansha says, getting excited.

Morro smirks. He slaps my hand away from the water bucket that lays, filled with water. "Then What are we waiting for? Let the festivities begin."

Morro raises his hands, the portal arising. Out comes many different ghosts. They fly out, some taunt me from my spot as I lay there, unmoving.

My glare never leaves my face as Morro laughs triumphantly. "The end had begun."

——————————————

For hours, ghosts have flown around, terrorizing Stiix and it's people. "The ninja will be here soon," I glared at Morro.

"So will the your inevitable fight with the evil that now runs through your veins," he hissed, stalking closer to me. "It corrupted your father, and into now corrupt you. You'll soon be on my side, fighting against the ninja."

I groaned, a feeling like hot coal run through my veins. "Never," I whimpered. He grabs my arms, placing me onto a pole that oversees all of Stiix.

"When the ninja arrive, they'll see you, cut you loose. But by that time, you'll be on my side."
A scream tears my throat.

———————————

I wriggle in the rope, my body aching with every movement. I feel that bad feeling push against me. That feeling of evil.

Suddenly, that ache being to dull and I shimmy out of the ropes, heading down. I sense Morro and push him. "Why was I tied up?" He hands me a mirror.

As I look into it, I smile. My skin has turned a dark grey shade, my hair gaining a black color. I looked evil.

He smirks, getting close. "You were on the side of the ninja." I get taken back. How could I?
"What? Never! The ninja deserve to be destroyed!"

Morro wraps an arm around my waist. "There you are."

Morro's dragons roar, signaling a sign. "What is it," I ask, readying for an attack. "It's the green ninja."

Morro leads me out, putting me in position. "Stay here, be on lookout."

—————————————

"What do you think you're doing," I ask, seeing the green ninja get close to the Realm Crystal.
"Sis," he gasped.

"Who are you calling sister?" I ask, holding my hands up. Smoke covers them.
"You," he answers.

I hear ghosts screech, fighting against the other ninja. "Why would I be related to you? You're kind hurts, kills, banishes people like me. So, why should i listen to you? The Green Ninja?"

He steps back, remorse covers his face as he blasts his powers at me. I easily dodge, holding my own back. "Because I'm right, I always am. I'm on the right side, not you."

"How can you be so sure," I question, hitting him back with a kick. "Why fight someone that's stronger than you?"

That seemed to hit the mark. He smirked, taking control of his powers and staggers towards me. "Exactly. You're stronger, you can fight against it," he says, referring to the evil that runs through my veins.

I yelp, a sharp pain radiates in my stomach. "No, I'm meant to be evil, it's in me! I controls me!"

He runs to my aid, helping me up. "Only if you let it," he yells, hugging me. For a split second, I recognize him.

Lloyd...

Lloyd Garmadon...

My brother...

My...

My enemy.

"Get off," I shout, using a blast of my powers to shoot him back into, and through a wall. As I run towards the broken wall, the boy isn't there anymore. Instead, in his place, is a girl dressed up like the green ninja.

"(Y/n)?"
"Who are you? How do you know me," I ask, readying for another battle. She blasts me with water. I shake it off. "What was that for?"

She whimpers. "It-it's the venom!" I smirk, casting my gaze down at her. "Yeah, pretty awesome, right?"

"(Y/n) Garmadon, stop this instant!"
I turn around, seeing an old man hold his hand out to me. "My name is (Y/n). (Y/n)...(Y/n)..." I can't seem to finish my name.

"(Y/n) Garmadon is your name," the old man says. I feel metal clamp around my wrist and jump back. Metal contraptions are wrapped around my wrists, stopping my powers. "Wha-what are you doing? Get off!"

Coins fall all around us. "What's happening?! Let me go!" I fight and fight again the metal, but it doesn't break.

"(Y/n)," a black-haired boy calls. He hugs me. I shove him off. "Who are you?" He seems hurt by what I said. "You don't remember me?"

"No! Get off, I have to help Morro," I shout, pushing against their grip.
"We need to get her to her father," the old man says, grabbing me.

The gateway opens widely, the Preeminent arriving. "You're too late," I grin. The others stare in horror.
I feel the grip from the old man loosen and I get thrown into the gateway.
"Save yourself, (Y/n)!"

————————————

Someone lands on top of me, my instincts telling me to push them away. "Sis," the person stops me. It's the green ninja. "You need to snap out of this!"

I shove him off, dusting myself off. "Look what you and your petty friends did! They shoved me in here," I growl, looking around in the dark corridor.

Without warning, the green ninja pulls me and starts running. "What are you doing?" He doesn't say anything, just keeps running.

"Where are we," I ask, looking around. It seemed like a maze, tunnels and tunnels long.
"Dad," The green ninja next to me gasps. I look forward, seeing Lord Garmadon trapped in chains.

"Lloyd, (Y/n)?"
My face scrunches up as Lloyd goes to hug him. "Why are you hugging him, he's not on your side?"
Garmadon looks up at me, relief washes over his face. "What are you talking about, daughter?"

I stand defensively, guard high. "I am not your daughter," I hiss, stalking closer, a deadly look plastered on my face.

"It's the venom, it started when the ninja made it to the First Spinjitzu Master's tomb," the green ninja explains. I narrow my eyes, lips pulled into a snarl.

"I've been evil all my life! He's lying!" Darkness swirls menacingly around me. I step closer to Lord Garmadon, trying at the chains.

"You need to listen to me, the venom that runs through your veins, is in control, overpower it," he explains, stepping as close to me as the chains allow.

My vision blurs, the world spinning around me, my veins pricking like needles. I break down those walls, fighting for power.

When my vision clears, I tumble onto a knee. "Dad, where are we? Lloyd?" I run over, pulling them both into a hug.

"There's little time to explain. The Cursed Realm is the Preeminent, and the Preeminent is the Cursed Realm. (Y/n), you need to stay in control of your body. The only way of getting rid of the venom in your body is to destroy the Preeminent."

"Father, it's hard, it-it's like fighting for my life," I whimper, feeling that pull of evil once again. Lloyd puts a hand on my shoulder.

"Dad, I tried to destroy the Crystal but I'm not strong enough," Lloyd sighs, taking a seat next to me, utterly defeated.

"If he has the Crystal, all is endangered." My father looks up at us, his wise eyes showing sympathy but strength.

"But how, we tried!"
"It was never the color of the gi, or fight your body puts up, it's the color of your hearts and that battle it gives."

Lloyd and I share look, the words hitting us harder than ever before.
"We won't give up."

"Good, you must leave here and destroy the Preeminent. Save Ninjago. Save the Realms."
"But if I destroy the Crystal, and (Y/n) destroys the Preeminent, it'll destroy you," Lloyd says.

"Whatever happens to me, wherever I am, I will always be with you." He looks down to us, a stray tear falling from his face.

I grunt, pulling my lip in between my teeth, fighting that emptiness arising. "Come on, Lloyd. Time to save Ninjago."

————————————

"Stop, right there," I shout, Lloyd landing next to landing next to Morro. I pick Ronin off his feet. "You guys are back," he gasps, dusting himself off.

I give a soft chuckle. "Yeah, it's been a long ride. Get to the ship an protect the people," I command, dodging a flying Morro.

The ninja, along with citizens, cheer for us. I twitch, the skin around my hands loosing color. My head pounds, my body aching. "Lloyd, we need to hurry."

He slings an arm around me, turning to the ninja. "Take out the stilts! Sis, go with them." He pushes me into the hands of Cole, Morro getting in his way.

I nod, taking more time to follow the ninja. I feel the veins darken around my neck, my body slowly succumbing to the darkness.

The boys use their weapons to take out the stilts, while I use what little power I have left. I shield Cole from any water that slashes towards us.
"(Y/n)? It's you!"

I shift uncomfortably, hands falling to my sides. "Not for long, we need to hurry." With one blast of darkness, the Preeminent falls into the water, groaning.

Jay falls onto his back, the house under him lifting up. "Uh, what is happening," Kai asks, looking around. Houses, and all sorts of buildings, take flight, moving toward the Preeminent.

I gasp in belief at the sight in front of me. "You've gotta be kidding?" The Preeminent has all the houses in Stiix around her, like armor.
"Just when you thought you saw it all," Cole gapes.

Zane grabs Kai's collar, pulling him away. "We need to go, now!" We all start running.
I lose my balance and fall, pain flaring in my head.

The ninja stop to come get me.
"No! You need to go!"
"Like we'd do that," Cole scoffs, picking me up.

I remember my father words. What he said. "Ah, screw it." I launch myself from the arms of Cole, and into the way of the Preeminent.

I grab ahold of a leg, lifting myself up and over a house. Ghost surround me, taunting my every move as I get weaker as I go up. "Nya, if you're here, I could use your help!"

I jump out of the way, landing on another platform. The ghost around me pop into green dust after getting his with a mist of water. Nya lands next to me. "You called?"

I smirk, hoisting her up as the Preeminent shakes Zane's ice off. She starts walking into the sea, howling painfully. "I thought ghosts can't stand water," Jay asks.

"It doesn't matter if she has ghosts on her disposal," Zane fills in, gripping onto a piece of wood. I look ahead, the boat onto feet away from the Preeminent. "She's not slowing down!"

I get a blur of Kai as he falls past me. More ghosts surround me, quickly blown away by Nya. I fall to my hands and knees, gripping my head.

"(Y/n)," Nya calls out, running to my aid. "Nya," I gasp. "It would be a good time for you to unlock your elemental power."
My vision fades to black.

—————————————

Pain flares in my body, needles pricking my fingertips. My hair is plastered to my neck and forehead with sweat as I gasp awake, coughing out blood.

"The only way to get rid of the venom in your body, is to destroy the Preeminent."
I sputter and twitch, pulling myself to my knees.
Water around me moves in the air, swirling around a tornado-like water funnel.

"She unlocked her true potential."
I stand to my feet, seemingly floating off the ground. Waves gain height, getting bigger and bigger, till they surround the Preeminent.

"(Y/n), it's up to you to destroy it, once and for all," Nya class inside her water structure.

I stay still, determination lacing my features with an envy for revenge.
My hands shoot out, smoke surround me. I float up into the sky, turning it a darker color than ever seen.
Pain shoots through my eyes, turning them a shade of black that strikes fear in those around me.

The wind swirls, overpowering the howling of the Preeminent. It seems frightening if the figure in the sky, me.

Darkness covers my hands, coating them like a shield. My veins stand out, grey blood filling them as I roar, shooting my limbs out towards the Preeminent, controlling it.

I feel the connection pulling at my head, adding a whole new level of pain to my body. With the control, I push down with every last drop of strength I have.

The Preeminent gets downed in the water, hissing and growling. I feel every cell in my body being ripped apart, being burned into a crips.

Suddenly, everything stops. The sky turns back into its original color. The darkness fades from around me. My eyes turn back to their normal color.

And I fall.

——————————————

My eyes flutter open, vision quickly filled with blonde locks. My body doesn't hurt when Lloyd wraps him arms around my frame, holding onto it like a lifeline.

"Sis, you did it," he whispers, tears soaking my gi. I laughs, placing a hand on his head and running my fingers through his hair.

"Yeah, and almost killed yourself," Jay scoffs in the background. I look up to see Nya hit him then pull him into a kiss.

Lloyd lets go of me, walking over to Kai to gags at his sister. Cole runs up to me and wraps his arms around my waist, his ghostly figure touching mine.

His lips touch mine and I feel safe. Like no one could ever hurt me while he's there.

Sensei walks up to us, sending Lloyd and I a sad but grateful smile. We all surround him, everyone comforting each other.

"The path is never a straight line, you all now know that. But like always, you've saved Ninjago once more."
