(When the ninjas prevent Garmadon from using his mega-weapon to bring to life a fossilized monster, they're turned into kids and need Lloyd's help.)

I watch as Lloyd fails to defeat all four ninja.
"When you can defeat us, then it's (y/n)'s turn," Kai says.
"That was fun. Are we done," Lloyd asks panting.

"Oh, come on, you're better than this," Jay says, "what's on your mind?"
"Well, uh, the latest issue of Starfarer just can in at Doomsday Comics, and it's a limited run so if I don't go out there and get it, it's gonna sell out."

I frown as Lloyd hasn't gotten to really enjoy his childhood. "Guys, I have to agree with him. It's important to have a childhood," I say, groaning as the bandages still on my stomach prevent my movement, "I remember mine was filled with training just like his, but with Garmadon."

"The date of Ninjago rests on your shoulders. As the green ninja, you have a giant responsibility to hold," Kai says, "I'm sorry, but you don't have time for such childish things."

Lloyd walks to the edge of the ship, "other kids get to play and have fun. All I ever do is train."
I kneel down to his level, "I know how you feel. It kind of runs in our blood," I say making him chuckle.

"Guys, there's been a break in at the Ninjago City Of Museum Of History," Nya runs our yelling, "and the security cameras picked up you-know-who."

"We have to stop him before he uses the Mega-Weapon to start another one of his diabolical plots!"
Lloyd begins to ask if he can come but gives up, "uh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I can't go, and it's safer if I stay here and train."

I hop onto the roof as Jay puts down a rope and starts climbing down. He goes through one of the windows as we follow. "(Y/n), why did you come? You're still injured," Cole asks.
"Because you all act like kids sometimes."
They all groan.

We all duck down behind some railing as we see Garmadon and the snakes enter.
I watch as Garmadon plans on reviving the Grundal.

"The Grundal? I'm glad we don't live in an age where we had to live with them," Jay says.
"I am going to make it so the beast shall walk again," Garmadon says as he points the weapons towards the fossil.

"We need to stop him," Kai says as he hops over the railing and stay along the wall. The others hop on the bones, fighting off the snakes while I stay behind and fight the ones closest to me.

I run up and side-kick the weapon out of his hand as the others jump in front of it.
"Retreat!"
Garmadon and the snakes all run away, taking the sarcophagus with them.
We all run after them.
"Hurry up guys, since when did you get slow," I shout as the seemed to struggle to catch up.

As we tunes the corner we see the snakes gone but the sarcophagus is still there.
"I can't believe we couldn't catch up to them. I'm usually faster than that," I hear Jay say but his voice is higher than usual.

"I don't remember that thing being so big," Kai says, his voice also higher.
"Did it grow?"
"Or did we shrink?"

I yelp as I see the others are now kids.
"We're kids! But why isn't (y/n) one?"
"It seems since we jumped in front of the weapon and (y/n) didn't we take the effects," Zane explains.

The all start screaming.
I cover my mouth to try to stop myself from laughing.
"What's so funny," Cole asks in his child voice making me burst out laughing.
"You guys are so cute. You're really the children now," I use a baby voice, grabbing Jay's cheeks.
"No we're not," Kai yells trying to sound mad.
"Aw," I sigh happily.

"Tell me were dreaming," Cole yells.
"Nindroids don't dream. Perhaps Garmadon's succeeded in turning back the clock, but instead of reviving the Grundal, it only affected us."

"But, you shouldn't be a kid," I say.
"I've extended my logic parameters, but nothing is coming up."
I face palm.
Cole starts walking towards the sarcophagus while listing things you can't do as a kid.

We all follow towards him.
"I told Nya we'd meet her back at the Bounty. I'm sure Sensei will know what to do," Jay says as cop cars surround us.
"Great," I groan.

"Looks like we caught our culprits to the museum heist. Who would of thought it was just a bunch of brats and their older sister," the cops say as they get out do the car.

"No...we uh, we didn't...Ugh," I fail to make an excuse.
Kai tried to do Spinjitzu but it turns out their too small.
"You have the right to remain silent," they say as the throw is in the back, Cole ends up on my lap.

"I want to say it's funny since you guys are kids...but it's not cause I'm not," I sigh tilting my head back on the rest.

"Sorry for stealing," I say trying to sound sincere while the others just do since their voices are high.

"Thank you, little boys, and you, young lady, for returning the sarcophagus, you did the right thing. But what about the bones?"

"Um, what? We didn't take bones," I say.
"The Grundal bones."
I turn to see them gone, "you don't think it just walked out of here?"
"Theoretically, it is possible that if Garmadon successfully reversed the years on us, he revered the years on the Grundal and brought it back to life."

Jay starts yelling towards the museum wonder about the Grundal being brought back to life.
"I'm sorry, for my little brothers' behavior," I apologize.
They sit us on the bench, "now stay here till we can call your parents to pick you up."
"But...I can take them home...," I finish but they already walked away.

"We gotta get out of here," Cole whispers, "like now."

We all follow Kai as he runs down and joins the other kids. They each change into kids clothes they found.

I spin into my clothes. I look down to see I'm wearing Cole's grey sweater, black pants, and a dark purple beanie.
"Is that my sweater," Cole turns to me.
"Yeah," I say bluntly, trying to hide my blush.
"Aw," Jay says mocking me.

"Ugh, this is so humiliating," Jay whines.
"I'm afraid is we can't use our Spinjitzu, we'll be no match for the Grundal," Zane says, "And even with (y/n)'s Spinjitzu it won't be enough."

"Then we have to get back to the Bounty," Kai says.

We run towards a phone booth and Kay grabs my shirt, "What?"
"I wanna call," he says, whining.
"Ugh, you are such a baby," I pick him up, putting him on my hip while he calls Lloyd.

"Met us at Buddy's Pizza in ten minutes," he yells into the phone. "Let's go," I say putting Jay down.

"Of all places to meet, you picked this place," Cole asks in his high-pitched voice.
Jay just shrugs.

"Lloyd," Kai tried to get his attention.
"Beat it, beat. I'm on a mission," he says.
"No really Lloyd," I finally say.
Lloyd yells catching the attention of everyone else.
"Keep it down. We're trying to lay low."
"Dad not only turned them into kids, but unleashed the Grundal who's sole purpose is to hunt ninja," I sigh quietly.
"And now every time we try to tell someone, they won't believe us because we're children," Jay says as Lloyd gives them their weapons, handing me a small dagger.

Lloyd starts laughing.
"What's so funny," Kai asks.
"Woah. I guess you now know what it feels like to be treated differently."
"Look, this is serious. If we don't turn big so we all can use our Spinjitzu, we don't stand a chance against the Grundal."

"What about me? I know Spinjitzu," Lloyd says.
"Yeah, But you don't know the Grundal. We all need to be at full strength," Kai says, "what we need to do first is find someone who might know more about how to defeat one of these things."

"I think I know just the guy," Lloyd smirks.

He brings us to Doomsday Comic Book Store.
"Trust me. If there's anyone who knows how to defeat a monster that doesn't exist, I know just the person to talk to," Lloyd says.

"Fellas, meet Rufas McCallister, aka Mother Doomsday."
"Well of it isn't Lloyd and (y/n) Garmadon. Sorry if you came looking for the latest Starfarer. I'm all sold out."

"He knows you," Kai asks.
"Yeah I come here all he time with Lloyd," I answer.
"Sold out! Oh, ah, actually we need your help," he says, "There's a Grundal on the loose, and we need to know how to deal with it."

"Ah, a theoretical question," Rufas looks to me and I just shrug.
"Yeah, theoretical. Can you help?"

He come down from his seat, "Dromaeosaurid Theropod Grundalychus. Whoo. Although extinct, there have been a plethora of film, television and comics exploring the mythology around the primordial predator."
"Supposedly they always get their prey," I gulp.

"Can it be stopped," Lloyd asks.
"First thing you need to know," he goes to list that our weapons can't hurt its hide, "second of all it's nocturnal and will only hunt at night."

"Oh, good. It's still daylight, so we can relax a bit," Jay says, "um, theoretically."

"And the only way to defeat it is with light," he says walking over to a case, "if I had my choice of weapons, may I recommend the Illumisword," he opens a case to reveal these light up swords saying there authentic.
"And if you're interested I can show you the authentic Ninja Gi, signed by the very Ninja that saved the city."

Kai goes to take the swords but Rufas says they can be only won in a trivia battle.
"Sign me up," Lloyd says.

I cheer as Lloyd get the next question correct.
"It's getting dark," Zane whispers towards me.
"The person to answer this correctly shall win. How did Fritz Donnegan escape the Imperial Sludge in the latest issue?"
"It's not fair, Lloyd didn't get to read it," I groan as the other kids gets the question correct.

The power shuts off as the Grundal jumps onto the roof. We try to get out through the door but it's jammed.

We run around to get the Illumiswords and the others suits. I spin into my suit and grab a sword. We all use the swords and they work until the break.
"Stupid toy," I yell as mine breaks.
As it gets closer the boys scream.

Lloyd's stands up and creates a ball of energy, producing light.
Just them Nya Burt's through the door, "(y/n) come here!"

I run after her as Sensei throws a bottle of something at the boys, "use this," he says, "it'll turn you older and reduce the Grundal back to bones!"
"What about Lloyd," I shout as I notice Nya's grip on my get stronger.
"He'll grow old too," Cole say, "he'll miss out on the rest of his childhood!"
"Lloyd no," I scream as the throws the bottle at the Grundal.

"Fair? Fair isn't a word from where I come from."
"Lloyd," I shout getting from Nya's grip as the Grundal turns back to bones.
I see his blond hair and I immediately hug him. As he looks up towards me I look at him, "you're, you're older," I put a piece of his, now, long hair behind his ear.

"The time for the green ninja to face his destiny has grown nearer."
He puts his arm around me as we walk out, "ha! I'm finally tall enough!"

We get stopped by Rufus, "here you go Lloyd. You can have my copy of Starfarer."
"That okay, I already know how it ends."
