(The ninjas try to infiltrate the Serpentines' inner sanctum and walk into a trap. When Lloyd's rescue mission fails, only Lord Garmadon can help.)

"If I were you, I'd start preparing for the worst, because when the Great Devourer is awakened, there will be nothing it won't consume."

I come into view casting a shadow around us, "oh, so we should prepare," I ask in a low voice, "if it will consume everything wont that include you?"

He screams, "that snake is crazy it don't want to unleash the Great Devourer. I'm a snake, not food."

"Is it really too late to stop Pythor?"
"You're days behind him. There's gotta be something else you can do!"

"If all we have to do is get one Fangblade to stop him," I start, "What is we take back the other three? Pythor wouldn't risk having all of them on him," Lloyd continues, "he's probably hidden them somewhere, while he goes for the fourth," I finish giving Lloyd a high five.

"It can't be that easy."
"Easy? My algorithms suggest taking the other three would be far more dangerous. Pythor would undoubtedly have them protected by his top general," Zane tells Jay.

"But, for the past few weeks there have been almost no Serpentine sightings. How are they moving around? It's like they're ghosts," Sensei says.
"Or snakes," Nya says loudly, "bridge, give me a sonar sweep of Ninjago." Nothing shows up. "But what if they aren't traveling above ground? They're snakes. Snakes burrow," Nya says.
"Bridge, now give me a sonar sweep of Ninjago, but 20 feet below surface."

"All the tombs have been connected."
"To make one massive underground fortress."
"And all this time, right under our noses," Jay says, "or rather, feet," Zane jokes.

I look at the map once more, "There, that's the most protected area."
"The Fangblades must be held there," Kai says.

"There's no room for error," Sensei says, "the Serpentine have shown they have great powers, and to combat them you must turn their greatest strengths into there greatest weaknesses."

"Kai, How will you defeat the Hypnobrai?"
"Their hypnotizing powers are useless if their opponent can fight without relying on his eyes."

"Jay, the Fangpyer is fast and his bite is sharp."
"But if he can't bite through your skin, he can't turn you into one of them."

"Cole, the Constrictai are strong. And they will not let go."
"But instead of fighting back, one must try to loosen up."

"Zane. The Venomari can make you see things. Cloud your perception."
"Then I will use my falcon vision."

"(Y/n), they must not see you."
"Then we will travel through the shadows," I teleport behind him.

"Very good. I have trained you all well. You are ready.

"Arriving at the mountain of a million steps," Nya voices come in through the com.

"Good luck," my father says as we make our way down the rope. "I thought you said this place would be heavily guarded, Zane," Jay says.
"Forgive me. Even Nindroids make mistakes."

"Hey check this out," Cole says pointing to drawing of us," I mean, at least give me a decent mustache," he goes to wipe it but ends up pushing a button.

We all run through the tunnel and at the end see the Serpentine and a bunch of chains above the acid from the Toxic Bogs.

"There's too many to fight at once," Kai says, "let's travel by shadow then," I smirk. Sensei tells me to wait to use my powers as we walk down the path, getting spotted by the snakes.

"Ninja, show them what you've learned."
We all jump into action.
I get completely surrounded. "What are you going to do little girl?"
I cast shadows behind each of them, "Ninja go," I yell teleporting behind them throwing them off.

We get surrounded as they get closer. We take turns as the snakes jump forward. I spin kick one as they reach for Zane. I shoot a black of darkness at one and it ricochets into another snake behind me, "haha, two for one."

Cole and I run towards the Fangblades but two metal pieces wrap around my guards, cutting off their use. A cage fall around up, trapping us in.

"Can this get any better? Seriously. They fell right into my trap." I groan as the claws take away my guards from me and another claw brings the cage into the air, "where's Lloyd when you need him.

"Our weapons were taken and we locked in a cage."
"And Pythor's returned with the fourth Fangblade."

"Lloyd, where did dad go," I ask as I remember he said dad left, "I told him to leave. He was trying to steal secrets."
"That's my boy," I whisper but anger rose in me.
"I thought I could trust you after what you did for us," I growl in my head.

"My dads going back to where he came from but don't worry, i'll save you."

I watch Cole and Jay play chess, giving then somethings I have in my pocket as players.
"We're putting all of our trust in the son of the greatest villain Ninjago has ever seen. Is anyone else having doubts about this," Kai asks.

"You would trust me, wouldn't you," I ask, "yeah of course."
"Then I trust my little brother," I sit back down, handing Cole a hairband.

Kai sighs and walks back over to us and grabs the hair oil slathering it all over himself. "Woah, greaseball how about a warning before you do that," Cole says surprised.

"Unh. You can make jokes all you want, but I don't thing We needs our special powers to get out of here."
Kai hands me the oil and I lather it on the front of myself, "Cole a little help," I say pointing to my back. He blushes before putting some of the oil on.

"Alright," I say as we slip through the bars, "they made it," Jay cheers.
"Alright slickster and (y/n) but what now," Cole asks.

"Now we do a quiet little ball and chain," he grabs a chain, me following his actions. He slides the chain through the cage, me doing that, and slides down. I keep ahold of the chains.
I gulp as the floor beneath us opens us to reveal a bigger pool of venom.
As the chains swings, Kai and I jump and grab onto the ledge.

A hand grabs mine making me look up, to see Pythor. "Trying to escape are we?"

"What? Why am I here," I groan to the boys on the other side of the cage.
"Great, we are totally in suck a better place than before."
"And we can't even play checkers.

"Look up there it's Lloyd," Kai says as he spots Lloyd. I see his head peak out. I watch him tumble down the steps and straight into the snakes.

Lloyd says something making the snakes burst out into laughter.
"This army," Lord Garmadon says with a bunch of Skeletons behind him. "Dad," Lloyd and I gasp at the same time.

"Kids, you helped me realize, I do have a choice.
And if there is anyone who is going to threaten Ninjago, it better we'll be me."

"Why would they fight along side you?"
"Because everyone hates snakes," I yell making them laugh.
The start attacking each other while we start moving, "Hey, we're moving."
"Yeah the wrong way," Cole says to Jay.
I look down and see us getting closer to the pit of acid.
I climb up the bars as we start to sink bit the chains holding us disappear.

We all jump from the cage as it sinks into the acid. "Told you I'd save you," Lloyd says.
"Ninja go," we yell as we grab our weapons and go help fight.

I turn around as Pythor bumps into Cole. He grabs the Fangblades from Pythor but Pythor disappears.
"Come on, we need to leave now that we have the Fangblades," Kai says.

I grab Lloyd and yell, "ninja go," as I spin.

We make it back to the ship safely. I walk with Lloyd into the bedroom where dad went. I see him packing up, "dad," he turns to us, "you're leaving," Lloyd asks.

"Now that you, my kids, are safe and the ninja have the Fangblades, there is nothing else I am needed for."
"But," I start, "we need you," Lloyd finishes.
I give him hug and walk out of the door seeing Lloyd hug him.

I walk to the deck of the ship and hear cackles over the music of the party catching my attention. I sit down as Cole comes outside with two glasses. "Here," he says handing me one," it's Snogfruit punch and it's not that bad."

I grab the glass from him taking a sip and he also sits down and wraps and arm around my shoulder.

"Cheers," I say clinking our glasses.
