"Ok Killow, Violet-"

"Ultra Violet is fine." The female ex-general corrected the blonde green ninja. He took a step back due to her hostile retort and coughed. "Ok, my apolgises. Ultra Violet and Killow, it's good to have you here." He attempted to pull off a forced-welcoming smile. But anything involving the generals of the quiet one's organization wasn't welcoming at all. You really couldn't blame the guy. Ultra huffed at his response. "Yeah whatever, dumb beetle." She whispered quietly, after seeing Nya's black pupils dilate the slightest. Talk about overprotective guards. She chuckled mentally. Without another word, the four individuals stepped away from eachother in the exception of Nya and Lloyd. They proceeded to walk out of the alleyway.

As they were now out, Nya huffed and placed her palm on her forehead. Right in front of them was a shambolic mess. Buildings crashing down as well as panicked townspeople running front, back and center. Their screams of fear ringing in the resistance's ears. "Dear FSM, this doesn't look good at all." The water ninja commented. Earning a cackle from Ultra Violet. For someone's who's been involved with the quiet one, she certainly was talkative. "And so you just realize our city is falling apart now? For a ninja that's certaintly inconsiderate." She mocked. The water ninja placed her hands on her hips and narrowed her eyebrows. "I didn't say I just realized it now. Wasn't it obvious?" She retorted. However, Ultra's hostility didn't decrease.

"Seems to me you're blind." The ex-general responded to her retort. Without any hesitation or a moment to think, the water ninja lunged over to the grey-skinned girl and raised her fists up. Hoping to punch that punchable face of hers. Wipe all of that white face paint off and replace it with blood. However, Lloyd didn't let her. He arched his arm and held the water ninja in place. "Let me at her!" Nya fussed. Lloyd sighed in his response. "Guys, we are a team. We can't fight like this all the time." The boy reasoned. Killow nodded in agreement. His arms were crossed though. "Come on, there's city that needs our help." He reminded with his low voice.

The two girls sighed. Ultra on the other hand, snarled: "I'm not done with you yet, Water Lily. Just you wait." She declared before walking off and beckoning Killow to follow her. The green ninja sighed at his turn. One thing for sure, not everyone can get along.
The resistance walked along the sidewalks and were stopped once and a while by the ground shaking. "Damn that bastard of a rock!" The female ex-general blurted out, as the colossi was seen into view. Lloyd bit his lip and shrieked. "Woah...you don't need to be hostile about it.." he tried but only earned a growl from Ultra Violet. She was about to say something until Killow covered her mouth with one of his ginormous hands. "Easy, Violet." He shushed. The colossi roared, a few rocks flew into the airs.

"We are wasting time..." Nya reminded. Killow looked at her and kept running, occasionally running behind a car and hiding behind it. Sometimes, he'd have to hide behind trucks due to his height. "What even is the plan?" The man asked. Lloyd glanced down at Skylor who was on the ground. Her eyes were still a taint of magenta. For the past minute, she's been laying on the ground or not only the alleyway but the potential space of where an earthquake could happen. "Any news about Skylor?" Nya inquired softly. The green ninja looked down and took a few minutes to think before shaking her head. Ultra frowned a bit. "Great...I hope she learns that, that's the reason why you shouldn't steal power from an Oni war lord." She reminded as well. Nya crosses her arms. "Our main priority was to beating you guys. Yet Skylor sacrificed this much!" She retorted and gestured the two boys and the girl to follow her. The path was cleared from the terrified citizens and the colossi's stone feet. "I was regoing through the plan and I say we head to my father's hideout. Where I can take him on." Lloyd lifted the master of Amber up and carried her on his shoulder.

They passed several buildings. Each one of them, running for their lives as a nearby skyscraper was ready to fall. The colossi wasn't really nice with the team at all. It took the whole ruined city as it's playzone for the rest of the day. Knocking down buildings. As much as it's stone and cruel heart desired. One building in particular. There were nothing but piles of tiles and concrete bricks laying around the area. There were crowds of people surrounding the place as well. Some police officers were even present. Lloyd narrowed his eyebrows and pushed himself through the crowds. "What's going on?" He Asked the officers as he lowered himself down to pass under the yellow crime scene ribbons. A man dressed in blue placed his hand on the green ninja's chest and pushed him back. "Green ninja, this is a crime scene. A place where several dead bodies are found-" he tried to warn the blonde but the green ninja insisted anyways.
He needed to have a good idea of how many people were injured. He could also potentially ask the rest of the team to help the police officers treat their wounds. For the fortunate alive ones.

He continued to push through and that's where his blackened pupils snapped open. It was like time stopped for the blonde. His worried expression turned into one of major surprise and even more concern. There laying on the ground was the familiar white haired girl. Panting and bleeding like mad. Her lips were pursed since that's the only method she could breathe in from the cuts and gashes on her face. She blinked once and a while. The life draining out of her. Lloyd couldn't help but run up to her and bend down. Capturing her fragile head in his palm and with his free hand, took hold of her probably broken back. He sobbed. For the first time in months. The last time he did was when he was forced to fight with his father once more.

"I care."

"Rumi, listen to me. Who did this to you?"

"I will protect you."

"If I really hate you. Would I still dare to do this?"

This gorgeous jade rose was still alive, still in tact.

Lloyd sniffled as he brought the injured girl closer to him. "Rumi.." he cupped her cheek. Stroking it gently, making sure not to hurt her. But even when he did, he earned a small hiss of agony and discomfort from the quiet one. She didn't bother turning her head to face him as she focused more on keeping her breathing stable despite the position she was in. She couldn't move at all. Instead,she just was forced to sit down and listen to what this murderer-no, she forgave him, what this boy had to say to her. He inhaled and forced a smile, looking down at her. "Rumi, when you said you'd never leave me." He paused to stroke her cheek even more. The quiet one's chest rose, signalling her heart has just sped up. The injured quiet one slowly but carefully turned her head to face the blonde. Now intrigued with what he had to say. A small expression of concern was seen on her face. Or rather her attempt at one. She couldn't really express herself as much as she'd want to at a time like this. "You never left me. Even though you're on the verge of it. Thank you." Lloyd told her before prompting her up gently and bringing himself down to lean in. He softly kissed her rosy lips and shut his eyes, truing to enjoy this moment even though now was clearly not the time. Harumi's eyes snapped open as she felt his warm lips being placed on hers. However, she couldn't refuse this kiss. Despite it coming from the murderer of her parents. She was lucky that she received a second shot at living. Now she needed to learn to forgive and forget. The white haired girl hesitated for a few minutes before she let herself sink into the warm and comforting kiss, resulting in her shutting her own eyes as well.

A/N Lloyrumi people! Yes! Ahem, that's not how I should start an author's note..whoops! Let's try that again. Hiya people! Bea here and I had time to write chapter 23 of COH! AU. Finally, it's been days. I apologize for that! I guess I got busy with my other books or I simply lost motivation for a small while. I'll try my best to publish chapter 24 as fast as I can however, there's no promises. I'm currently working on collaboration two books at the same time as well as 4 normal books on my own. Second reason is because of the fact that I'm sorta dropping out of the Ninjago fandom for a while. I'm not gonna stop writing my Ninjago related stories though! You'll just notice it in my writing that I'm sorta trying to rush things. Speaking of rushing, this chapter. Oh god, forgive me but I totally forgot about Skylor! Ack! Yes I know I'm horrible for forgetting about her. That's why theres barely any mentions of her in this chapter. I forgot to reread chapter 22 and I thought Dareth brought her along when he ditched the others. I was wrong then! So that's why I basically put her on the ground the entire time.
