The brown ninja panicked seeing the SOG arrive, he rushed inside and on instinct, his brown eyes flared up in worry at the sight of the resistance. He took a moment to pant then raised his head up, his pupils were now fixed on the ropes lowering down on them. He clenched his palm so that only one finger was raised an pointed up at the ceiling window. "It's an ambush!" He cried, hoping the ninja wouldn't take his worry for a joke. Fortunately, the whole resistance, including its leader faced up to find the lower rank members laughing and lowering their ropes even more to the point, Lloyd found himself tangled up in them. The green ninja let out a grunt of discomfort as his gloved fingertips intertwined with the stretchy material. From behind him, he heard a raspy voice. Even though the speaker was hard to identify due to its deep voice, he can instantly tell who it was.

"Take the son alive." The speaker ordered. A sharp sound of two blades unsheathing was heard. The green ninja's blackened pupils were met with a white haired figure advancing in his direction. That creepy demonic mask of rituals taunted his traumatized eyes once again. It didn't help either that the Oni mask of hatred user had a chest plate with nothing made by stone that was as invincible. Purple gems matching the mask lit the dreary stone clothing the user wore. Lloyd was too busy thinking of his survival choices that he didn't realize his arms being grabbed by lower ranks. When the touch of the stranger's gloves on his ninja gi woke him up inside, he immediately retracted his arm, in attempt to make them let go. "Let go of me!" He yelled. He didn't receive much of an answer, but a few minutes later, a deep chuckle was all he got. It was his former lover, mocking him for trying to convince her troops to not apprehend him. "Oh Lloyd, how naive are you?" The quiet one asked him, stepping even closer to him. He just gritted his teeth and tried his bets to free from their grasp. He was speechless.

When Harumi was close to him, she stopped at her tracks and aimed her sword at his neck. "Silent? Last I learned, stealing someone's title isn't very...nice. Isn't it?" She grabbed his chin with her free hand. Lloyd seemed uncomfortable with that, he still stayed quiet.
Copying her alias: 'the quiet one'. That annoyed the living heck out of Rumi. Eventually her patience beneath the mask of hatred burned out and she let out a scream of fury. "Your guilt has gotten your tongue?!" She moved her hand up in attempt to slice his lower parts of his neck. Lloyd ducked and kicked one of the guard holding him in place. The man holding him, felt pain through his left leg and that caused him to stumble backwards and drop his silver sword. With that, Lloyd picked it up and got into a battle stance, sword in hand. He watched as Harumi quickly recovered from her failed attempt to injure him. The two past lovers, stared at each other before a fight tensed up between them. All they had left for eachother wasn't love, but more and more passion for them to hate eachother.

Meanwhile, the rest of the resistance fought with the other incoming lower rank guards. Nya And Skylor dealt with a few while Turner was spotted rushing through the garage door for he had heard more motorbikes come in. But as he was running out, his red glasses were met with a hard grey fist punching him square on the nose and part of his protected eyes. It was Killow, along with the mask of deception. He laughed at how Turner fell for his trap. But for the master of speed, he didn't like it at all. He stood up and ran around Killow, hitting him places where he couldn't bent down and stop him. From there, the big man felt vulnerable due to he's incomparable height. As Turner was about to lay one more kick on the orange coded general, a woman that shared the same skin tone charged at the elemental master and tackled him, her gloved hands now on his shoulders. Turner was shocked that he was tackled that quickly. Usually he never gets tackled since he gets away in time. He was surprised to find that it was a Ultra Violet. However, her confidence in stopping him was diluted. She chuckled as her free hand, the one that wasn't pinning him in place, stopped his head from wandering with the help of her small spear. "Nope, just focus on me." She ordered, her purple lipstick was all he can look at it as she pronounced those words. Killow took this advantage to help her out, he lifted Turner up with his telekinesis abilities and tossed him on the other end of the garage depot.

Skylor spotted Lloyd being attacked by Harumi. She gasped and turned invisible for just a second. Then without a warning, used her speed to make her way over there. That was the abilities of absorption, she touched Turner and Paleman before this, thinking their powers were the perfect 'starter kit' for a fight. She raised her sword and slashed Harumi's mask, the artifact slowly falling off her face.
"Need help?" The green ninja questioned, offering to help Skylor take off the mask. As she was about to nod, Harumi chuckled and kicked both of them off her. "I prefer not, after all, this is my mask." She reminded the two. Who only Lloyd reacted between the two.
"Shut up demon, you're not even an oni! "he retorted. Rumi sighed and walked to him, letting her arms wrap around him. "I may not be an Oni but you thought I was the 'only'one for you-" she remarked, earning a kick in the stomach by Lloyd.

"We need to get you out of here!" The master of amber pointed out. Lloyd nodded and was stopped by Skylor who called the water ninja over to help them. "Nya! " she paused to get her attention. Nya looked in their direction and understood what was going on, she kicked one guard off her and ran to them, she didn't waste any time on grabbing Lloyd's arm. "Come on!" She said to him as they walk to the side of the depot. At first, it may look like a secret backdoor exit. "Hello mama! " Ultra Violet cooed over by Misako's table of tools. Kid Wu screamed and ran to the ninja, who was fighting off most of the guards. "Woah! Wu! What are you doing?!" Jay called to the young white haired boy, who was throwing teacups at the guards. "Must go! Must go!" He alarmed the others. The ninja were too busy to notice that Nya and Lloyd were gone. Ultra Violet sneered and noticed the water and energy ninja's silhouettes appearing through the wall. She got curious and followed where they were going, thinking she has got the upper hand.

As she got been closer, she saw lights turning on from inside a sheet. Followed by noises of an engine. She gasped and quickly jumped to the side, avoiding whatever was coming for her. From there, a battle tank, more like battle wagon shot out from its parking spot.
It charged at the masked user, who had a slow reaction time due to her satisfaction of this ambush going well, and received the impact of getting hit by a big sized vehicle. Her stone-protected back was slammed against the concrete wall. She slid down as her white hair tips flew back down to the wind not being with her anymore. It didn't take her long to recover, due to the mask's invincibility buffs.
The battle wagon stopped in front of the ninja. Nya opened the hatch and beckoned the others to come along. "Come on in!" She cried in a hurry as Skylor hopped inside quickly. The ninjas grabbed Kid Wu and ran inside as well. They were all cramped inside. The battle wagon's hatch closed again and Lloyd looked out its small window, noticing his mother still fighting with Ultra Violet. "My mother!" He begged to open the hatch again. But Kai shook his head. "The wisest thing to do is go." He told the ninja sadly.

As Nya drove out of the garbage depot, the pain killed her to leave almost everyone behind. She felt a warm touch on her gloved hand. She turned her head and felt a surprised look on her face. It was Jay, giving her a comforting smile. "I know it's hard to leave everyone...we'll see them again don't worry." He reassured his girlfriend. That made her smile and clench her fingertips so that she can properly hold his hand. "Yeah you're right. We're doing this for the resistance." She told him. Jay nodded. "That's the spirit." He cheered, before pausing and sighed. "I love you Nya. " he told her softly. It made the water ninja's heart beat even faster as she tried her best to control the vehicle but found herself telling him the same thing. "I love you too Jay." She said with pure honesty.

Zane, on the other hand, was saddened that he had to leave Pixal behind. However, Lloyd pat him on his titanium back. "She'll be ok Zane, don't worry. Pixal is strong like a solid ice cube." He smiled. The nindroid smiled too even though it was just simple words. "She really is..i love her so much." he admitted, his metallic cheeks earning a red blush spreaded across them. Lloyd snickered. "I'm sure she does too." he told him.

Skylor sat on the bench and looked around, they were just about to exit until she heard someone sit beside her. The fire ninja's presence made her heart skip a beat. "How are you holding up gorgeous?" Kai flirted with her, while blushing. The master of amber let him have his way as she rolled her eyes jokingly and faced him. "Oh everything is perfectly alright. We just got our base stolen and now we're on the run." She responded to his question sarcastically while laughing. That made Kai laugh too. But when all joking aside was over, the pair shared a war, embrace. They just wanted to hold eachother for fear controlled them at the moment. They were scared to lose everything. "Hey Skylor?" The fire ninja called to her, quietly, his chin resting on her shoulder. "Yes?" She waited for him to say something else. He smiled before he talked again. "Just know..that I've got your back, ok?" he pulled away right after from the hug.
The redhead's smile grew brighter. "Thanks Kai, I have yours too." She replied.

The battle tank was about to leave the whole property until they heard a voice call from outside. "Wait up!" It was Dareth who ran outside due to his potion bladder problem. The hatch opened, since it was just one person coming in. There was a bit more room inside anyways. The brown ninja quickly walked in, sat down beside Skylor and Kai before the battle tank actually took off, not returning to their now considered old hideout ever again. For they, were on the run.

Also, on November 2, which was supposed to be the next day that I'm gonna start writing this story will be replaced with a chapter of my OCS backstory OCness. Why won't it be Change Of Heart AU? Well because, I have final exams that week so I'll be overwhelmed for sure. So I wanted to write something more easy.
