Kai-

Me and the other ninja were cleaning up the city after the fall of the great devourer. And it was a total dump. Well most of the town square anyway. I grow irritated "This is so frustrating!" I start, "Our weapons are gone and most of our elemental powers are gone! And now were homeless!" "we may be poor, but we are rich in other ways." Zane says cheerfully, but that just makes me more irritated, how can he be so happy at a time like this? Then sensei and my sister ride up and let us know about a real-estate agent that can sell us a place to stay. "Alright, we'll head over to see her after we grab the others." I said referring to Hachi's team.

We arrive at the first property that is for sale. "Here we are!" the agent says cheerfully. The place is run down, kinda burnt, almost unlivable, and very very small. "this place is a dump!" I said agitated. "This is more then what I had before the monstary before sensei found me in." Devon says calmly yet quietly. "Yes, I see nothing wrong with it." Zane agrees. The Cole speaks up "Do you have anything... bigger?"

She takes us to a high rise apartment that's a little out of our price range. We try and persuade her to lower the price but she doesn't budge. And that's when we decide that we needed to get jobs to get this place.

Kade-

We all got different jobs. Cole was a security guard, Devon clerk, Kai was a "clown" (as I called it) for children birthday parties, Avery was a hostess at the same place that Zane was a cook, Hacthi was working as a operator, Jay, pizza delivery man, while I get stuck with being a receptionist. I would of rather had something like bodyguard but no one would take me seriously anyway. But the reason I hate this job the most is because I have to wear a suit dress granted its orange, but a skirt! And all of the other ninja can wear there ninja suits it kinda ticks me off. Also the price took me by surprise not because it was out of our budget, but because when I used to live with my parents that would have just been pocket change. But I would never ask them to help pay for the rent, they would just be upset that I left in the first place. For now I'll just be greatful that we have jobs to get money for a place like that.

Zane-

We meet back at the apartment. We count our money and were still behind part of me wants to just rent out the small apartment but I do not wish to upset my brothers, I snap back to reality when I hear Kai say "I guess I could be the human piñata ... Don't ask." "I'm starting to think that this place isn't what it's worth." Devon says. "are you kidding, I think they priced it just right, I mean, look at it, it's huge!" Jay said. "that's not what I ment I meen it's not worth all the trouble were putting into it, right Zane?" he turns to me. I decide to just silently nod. Kade gets up, "I'm going on the roof to charge up." she says as she trudges towards the stairs. "I will also do the same. A nap does sounds ideal." Kai agrees in a moan. Maybe I'll take part in this, a little nap never sounded better.

Avery-

I'm back at work today, at least I have Zane to keep me company. Granted he's on the other side of the restraunt but it's nice to know that I'm not alone. The lunch rush is killer today! I'm surprised how many people showed up. I felt bad for pour Zane, it looked he was putting it into overdrive. I wish I could help him, but I was not permitted to leave my post unless I was seating people. I wasn't even aloud to walk over to him if there would be a order over the phone, I had to shout it across the room (and I never liked raising my voice). then something strange happened, Zane seemed to shudder then dropped an egg on a small child's head. The child about four years old cried out. Then our manager's head snapped around, just as he did the child's mother stood up and knocked over something over on the grill starting a fire. My eyes widened and my jaw dropped I half ran half flew over to Zane's station. If I was able to deplete the oxygen around the fire it should extinguish! I raised my hands as if I wanted to be warmed by its flames. Then as if clenching something in my fingers I ripped the air from the fire. It dissipated, all but my sleeve was somehow was lit in the process. Then the burning sensation was soon replaced with the coolness of, ice? Zane, thank goodness she shot a burst of ice at the shuting off the flames that almost engulfed me. We turned to our manager who was bright red and practically had smoke coming out of his ears. "YOU'RE BOTH FIRED!!!" he screamed in rage. We exited the mad house "what in Ninjago happened?" I questioned. "the others need our help! The bank was robbed!" he said as he took off running. I glided after him.

Kade-

I'm sitting behind this stupid boring desk again, with a pen between my teeth. This job is boring me out of my scull! That's when Kai busts through the window behind me. "KAI! WHAT THE HECK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING!!!" " I'm running away from this psycho lady, trying to get to the bank, it's been robbed." "WHAT?!" I shout back to him. "what is going on in here?" my employer demands as he walks around the corner with his arms crossed. "oh me? I guess I'm quitting." "what, you can't do that!" "watch me." I say almost to arrogantly as I rip off my skirt reviling my short shorts underneath. Kai turns redder then his ninja suit. Then I jump out the other window and spin into my ninja uniform. I started bounding off roofs as Kai follows me. Then I thought about what Kai said, the bank had robbed, Cole was working at the bank, how did he let that happen. Oh God I hope he's not hurt.

Devon-

I'm useully a very patient person but this man just started to push my buttons. he was trying to buy ten pounds of bacon with his expired coupons. Then when I heard the alarm from across the street from the bank. I sprung out from behind my check out lane and ran for the door. Then the manger stepped out in front of me. "Devon if you walk out these doors I'm going to have to fire you!" he says trying to stay calm. "you do what you must do, and I'll do what I must." I tell him as I jump over him, and roll out the doors. That's when I see Cole.

Hacthi-

I'm working at my job again as an operator transferring people's calls. Then I got a call from someone. "h-h-hello, do you think you can connect me to 911, uh wait-" "what seems to be the problem?" "the bank has been robbed!" I tried to put her on the extension anyway even though she knew what she did. But the circuit sparked and fried the entire braker box. "That's the third circuit braker that you've fried I'm going to have to let you go." I didn't say anything I've never been so happy to be rejected in my life, because I had to go see what happened at the bank.

Cole-

Alright Maybe I shouldn't have been sleeping. But the bank traffic was always slow, and I was catching up on my sleep. But I wasn't counting on the Serpentine tunneling under the bank vault! My boss let me have it he even fired me, not that I blame him, I would have fired myself too. My boss went back inside and I turned around to see the team minus Jay running towards me. "Where's Jay?" I ask. "Maybe he was lucky enough not to get fired." Hacthi said with a halfhearted smile. "I guess we'll just have to go without him. Kai says with a shrug. I didn't like the idea of fighting without the whole team, but it looked like I didn't have much of a choice, the Serpentine were getting away. "alright." I said firmly, yet reluctantly.

Jay-

I will admit I was not completely minding my own business. But did the Serpentine really need to knock me out and tie me up and put me here? Where is here anyway? I looked around, it seemed to be an underground tunnel with railings on either side, of, me... Oh God I'm in the subway! I need to get out of here before a train cones and makes me into a pizza. 'How ironic,' I thought, as I managed to get to my feet and started hopping down the tunnel.

Kai-

We follow Cole into the hole in the vault that leads into the subway we find a railcar with the Serpentine in it and we hop aboard and sneak off to the front car.

Skales-

We heard footsteps on the roof of our car. "the ninja." I say on disgust. "but- there were 7 thumps..." "they are just trying to trick us." I spat at them, fed up with there stupidity. We followed the footsteps to the front car. And when we opened the doors "Freeze ninja!" I said triumphant. Then we saw the red, black, white, grey, and orange ninja at the controls turn. Wait, orange and gray ninja? The orange one whipped out a golden sye, flipped it in the air caught it then through it in my direction. It hit my staff directly on the insignia and knocked it out of my hand. Then I turned my attention back at the ninja and she was charging towards me with other sai in hand. My jaw dropped and whipped my tail around to knock her in the head. She dropped to her knees and bent backwards limboing under my tail. Then bringing my tail back I tried a second time a little lower but she hopped over it. She may have dodged my first two attacks but this time I had her, I wrapped my long tail around her body. I pinned her arms down, and kept her legs in place, and the tip of my tail wrapped its way around to her throat. A choke escaped her lips, I raised an eyebrow at the other ninja. Then I turned my attention back to her, she started glowing then there was a solar burst and my tail was singed, I instantly dropped her. She had glowed like the sun and she set herself back on the ground. Gasping for air. Then a huge gust of wind from above swept us out of the back of the train. We fell to the tracks as the subway rode away from us.

Cole-

Kade was on her hands and knees gasping for air. We ran over to her I took her by the arm and my other hand on her back, I helped her to her feet. She swats me away once she was standing. She let out a choking cough. Avery and Devon jump down from there perch from the skylight and join us at the controls. "STOP THE TRAIN!!!" Kai screams then I turn to see what what we're headed for.

Jay-

I've been hopping around in the dark for like ever when I see a light, I think it's a station, but then I heard gears grinding and pistons pumping, usually music to my ears but that was a train, and it was headed straight for me! I turned around and furiously started hopping in the opposite direction. Then I suddenly I tripped over something. 'This was the end,' I thought 'If I could have only seen Nya one more time.' I squeeze my eyes tight. Then I heard the sound of screeching metal. Then it stops in front of me. I hear a door open, "JAY!" many voices say. I slowly open one of my eyes. "GUYS! I thought I was a goner there for minute!" "come on Jay, let's get back home." "But the Serpentine!" I tell Cole. "Jay, they got away. We're just glad we got you back." he tells me as Avery cuts me free with her golden daggers. "um Cole, I kinda lost my job. I'm afraid that my part of the rent is down the drain." "uh, none of us will be making rent, we all lost our jobs too." "great where will we be living now?" I ask. There is a brief silence, "I have an idea." Devon and Zane say in unison.

Lloyd-

The ninja got us a smaller apartment but since they ALL worked up some money we have a little extra to go around. And that's nice we will able to get an apartment with enough room for everyone, yeah it's a little cozy, but that meens we'll be closer, you know like a family. "Lloyd time for training." Kai tells me with oven mitts on his hands. We may not be rich but we are rich in other ways, and for that I am greatful.
