No One P.O.V

Cole, Jay and Zane were on the deck training, while Kai is nowhere to be seen. For the kids, they were sleeping in their rooms. Cole lifted up his scythe and brought it down on dark Serpentine figure

"Earth!" Cole shouted

"Lightning!" Jay shouted as he hit a Serpentine with his nunchucks

"Ice!" Zane shouted as he threw his shurikens and froze the Serpentine

Then Nya turned on the light and showed that the Serpentine were actually training dummies

"Good training. Your powers are getting stronger" Nya said to Cole, Jay and Zane "But where's Kai?" She looked around and did not see her brother

With Kai

"Fire!" Kai shouted in Wu's room as he wears the Green Ninja Gi "Unlock fire! Um, fire go! Shoot flames!" Kai continued to shout, hoping his potential will unlock but nothing happened "Oh, come on. Everyone else can do it. So can you. Bring heat!" Kai shouted and his ninja moves, but failed to notice his friends were watching the whole time laughing

"Very nice. Perhaps if you tried the phrase 'fire dork' maybe it might work" Cole said

"How long have you all been watching?" Kai asked looking embarrassed

"The Green Ninja suit, that's awesome!" Jay said

"We must be quiet, we don't want to wake up the children from their slumber" Zane said as Jay covered his mouth

"Well, I was hoping for some kind of clue from sensei and I found this" Kai said

"But you know only he who is foretold to face Lord Garmadon is destined to be the Green Ninja and only he should wear the Green Ninja outfit. So sensei would most likely be very-" Then Kai cut Zane off

"I know, I know. But I thought if I just tried it on, it might help me see my true potential. It's not fair that you guys have unlocked  your cool powers and I still haven't. Besides, sensei's gone, and we don't know when he's coming back" Kai said

"Hello? I'm home" Wu's voice came from the deck

"Sensei!" Cole, Jay and Zane yelled happily as they all rushed outside, but Kai quickly hides himself and started changing out of the Green Ninja Gi

On the Deck

"Ah, it's good to be home" Wu said

"So glad you're back" Zane said

"Did you bring us anything?" Cole asked

"Oh, sensei, have you missed a lot. Zane's a nindroid and has a little sister, Nya's the mysterious samurai, Miku and Akatsuki sang a duet, Cole's a dancer-"

"Zane is a what? And he has a little sister?" Wu looked confused

"You've been gone a while. We'll catch you up later. But you should know all of us except for Kai have discovered our true potential" Zane said

"Have you now?" Wu said looking impressed, but noticed Kai isn't around "Where is Kai?"

"Right here" Kai came rushing outside back in his red ninja gi "So glad you're back safe" Kai said, but was shocked to see Garmadon standing behind Wu "Ah, sensei! Behind you!" Kai lunges forward towards Garmadon and pulls out his sword

"Sensei!" Zane jumps in front of Wu to protect him, but slow motion

Kai tries to hit Garmadon, but he fell backwards

"Aah! He's got four arms!" Kai jumps on top of Garmadon while bringing down his sword on him. Garmadon struggled against Kai for a bit

"So we meet again" Garmadon said

"He must've followed you, sensei!" Kai said and Wu went towards them to stop them

"Kai, stop! He is the reason I left. For so long as Pythor had Lloyd, he will be our guest" Wu said

"We have to live with this guy?" Cole asked, not believing it

"But sensei, he has four arms!" Zane said

"Uh, must I remind you ever since he turned evil, he's been trying to get our Golden Weapons?" Jay said

"Enough!" Wu shouted

"Yes, sensei" The ninja said in unison

"This isn't about the weapons, it's about my son" Garmadon said as he got up from the floor

"From here on out, you will obey me and you will respect my brother" Wu said

"Yes, sensei" The ninja said

Then they heard footsteps heading towards them, coming up was a sleepy Miku, Crystal with a sleeping Snowflake in her arms and Akatsuki

"Geez, what's with all the shouting?" Akatsuki asked as he rubbed his eyes

"It is very late" Crystal said as Miku yawned

"We apologize for waking you all" Zane apologized

"Why were you guys shouting?" Miku asked as she rubbed her tired eyes and looked surprised to see her father

"Miku"

"Dad?"

None of them moved a muscle, and everyone looked nervous. After a moment of no movement, Miku rushed towards her father and hugged him

"Dad!" Miku hugged her father with tears starting to form in her eyes, and Garmadon hugged her back

"My little girl. I've waited a long time for this moment" Garmadon said

Nya and Jay started to cry a bit at this touching moment and Zane handed them a box of tissues

"He's Miku's dad?" Akatsuki asked Cole in a low voice

"Yep. That's her and Lloyd's dad" Cole said

"But he has four arms!" Akatsuki said still in a low voice, and he felt someone staring at him. He turned around and saw Garmadon staring at him "U-Um... Do you n-need something?" Akatsuki asked sounding nervous

"Oh! Dad, this is Akatsuki. He's Lloyd's best friend and he's my friend too" Miku said

"Hey, don't forget about me!" Crystal said

"And this is Crystal, she's also my friend and her pet Snowflake" Miku introduced

"It's nice to meet you, Miku's father" Crystal said

"I-It's nice to meet you, s-sir..." Akatsuki said, still feeling nervous

"I thank you both for keeping my daughter company" Garmadon said, and Miku started yawn again "Let's get you back to bed. We'll talk again in the morning"

"Okay. Can you tuck in me, dad?" Miku asked, and Garmadon smiled while nodding. He asked Wu where her room is, once Wu told his brother where her room is, he picked up his daughter and started heading to her room, but Kai did glare at Garmadon as he left and Garmadon glared back

The Bridge

Once Garmadon tucked his daughter to bed, he went to the Bridge where everyone are

"So, where are we at with the four Fangblades?" Wu asked

"Oh, Pythor's managed to take the first two, but there's still two left" Jay said

"And we only need on in order to prevent him from unleashing the Great Devourer" Cole said

"Any luck finding their whereabouts?" Wu asked

"No, but the falcon is programmed to alert us if he sees any suspicious activity" Zane said

"Good, if we find the Fangblade, we find Lloyd. Kai and Nya, prepare the deck and double check the anchor. We need to be ready when we first get word of activity" Wu said

"Yes, sensei" The siblings said as they started leaving the Bridge, while leaving, Kai looked at Garmadon

"I have my eye on you" Kai said as he kept an eye on him, but ended up hitting the wall and Wu sighs. Then Nya pulled him outside

"Jay, did you say the falcon was programmed?" Wu asked

"Ha ha. Okay, sensei. I don't know where to start. It all started when we saw the falcon..." Jay started telling the story

Kai P.O.V

Nya and I headed to the deck under sensei's orders and started cleaning up, but I still don't trust Garmadon, I was telling Nya how I felt about this

"But Nya, did you see he has four arms? Wherever sensei found him, he's now made it possible so that he can possess all four weapons at once. I don't trust him. Not one bit" I said

"You have to remember, he's not just the Dark Lord, he's also sensei's brother. Though he is pure evil, sensei hold him close to his heart" Nya said as she opened up the sails, and she gave me an idea

"That's it!"

"What?" Nya looked at me with a confused look

"To unlock my power. Sensei said the heart is the key. Maybe if I stand up to Lord Garmadon, I'll find my true potential and then everyone can see I'm the Green Ninja! Ha! Nya, you are a genius!" I said liking the idea

"I'm don't quite follow your logic" Nya said

"No time to explain, I have to go train! If I'm gonna confront Garmadon soon, I gotta be at the top of my game!" I said

"But sensei said he's our guest" Nya said

"Garmadon might've fooled sensei, but don't think for a second I'm not keeping my eye on him. Nya, the Lord of Darkness just became our roommate!" I said looking shocked

Miku P.O.V

For the next couple of days, dad has been living with us and I couldn't be any happier. While brushing my teeth, dad was using some type of dagger for his teeth to keep them sharp, then at dinner he was eating some type of dark grub and he said it was also low on fat, and while watching a movie when Nya and Jay, dad changed the movie into something violent that both Nya and Jay quickly covered my eyes. The ship was flying through a storm once and dad was sunbathing on the deck, and when I was sleeping I heard my door opening and saw the ninja coming in with their pillows and blankets saying how they can't sleep when dad is playing with his powers. The next day, dad was playing video games, but he was playing it wrong

"He's not even playing the game right, he's just shooting and destroying things" Kai said

"I've noticed when he isn't so focused on trying to turn Ninjago into his own image, he's quite fascinating" Zane said

"Right?" I said with smile

"Sure, the four arms are freakish, but all in all, he doesn't seem that bad of a guy" Cole said

"He might be pulling the wool over all your eyes, but not mine. He's up to something. And I'm gonna be ready for it" Kai said

"Why can't you give dad a chance?" I asked looking a bit sad

"Don't take it personally, but I don't any Garmadon" Kai said and I turned sad again

"I'm... gonna go play with Akatsuki and Crystal" I said as I started to leave

While playing with Akatsuki and Crystal, I looked inside the Bridge and saw the falcon had found the Serpentine along with Lloyd

"We need to tell the others! The falcon found them!" I said

"But wasn't Kai supposed to let the others know?" Akatsuki asked

"I didn't see him inside" I said and we left to find Jay or Zane. While running through the ship, we bumped into Jay

"Woah, easy kiddos. Why the rush?" Jay asked

"Jay! Jay! The falcon found the Serpentine and Lloyd!" I said

"What?! Where was Kai?" Jay asked

"He wasn't in the Bridge" Crystal said

"That's why we went looking for you or Zane to let you guys know" Akatsuki said

"I appreciate you guys for letting me know. I'll find Kai, and you guys find Zane and Cole and let them know. We'll meet in the Bridge" Jay said as we left to find Cole and Zane

After letting both Zane and Cole know, they rushed to the Bridge and Cole set the course to the locations of where the Serpentine are, and a minute later, Jay came rushing in with Uncle Wu, dad, Nya and Kai

"Looks like Pythor is at the Temple of Fire" Nya said

"That means the Fangblade is there" Kai said

"And Lloyd" Dad said

"That's the same Fire Temple where Kai and Lord Garmadon first faced off" Jay said

"If my memory serves me, correct, I'd say one of us cheated back when we last fought" Kai said while glaring at dad

"And I remember someone needing their sensei to save them" Dad glared back

"Please stop fighting! For the sake of the Fangblade and Lloyd, can we not fight each other?" I asked trying to stop a fight that was about to start

"Sigh. Alright, Miku. I'm sorry for making you upset" Dad said as he hugged me and I hugged him back "Miku, will you come with me to receive the weapons? Your uncle has asked me to fetch them"

"Sure!" I said and we left the Bridge to get the weapon

When we got to the room where the Golden weapons are stored in, dad picked up both the scythe and sword, and I picked up the shurikens and nunchucks. We were about to leave, when we heard the door slam open

"I knew I couldn't trust you! Especially you! You thieves!" Kai said

"Thieves? But Kai-" I tried to tell him that Uncle Wu asked dad bring the weapons and he asked me to help

"No buts! I don't want to hear it!" Kai shouted

"Ah, foolish child, I look forward to teaching you a lesson" Dad said

"This ends now!" Kai said

"Indeed!" Dad said

Then they both started fighting, I put the weapons down and ran towards Kai

"Please stop, Kai! Dad didn't do anything wrong!" I said

"Shut up!" Kai shoved me to the wall and I hit my head. Next thing, I knew, I lost consciousness

No One P.O.V

Miku was leaning against the wall after the impact, Garmadon rushes towards his daughter to check on her, as he carefully moved her, he saw blood dripping from her head. That's when Kai knew, he messed up

"How... dare.... you... hurt... my daughter?!" Garmadon lunges towards Kai and they started fighting once again. Kai felt scared seeing Garmadon so full of rage "You need to be taught a lesson!" Garmadon shouted as the fight continued

"Kai? Are you in here?" He heard Nya's voice, he quickly locked the door and continued his fight

Nya tried opening the door, but learned the door is locked and saw Kai fighting Garmadon

"What are you doing?!" Nya asked

"Discovering my true potential!" Kai said

"Unh! The door won't budge!" Jay said as he tried to open the door

"Kai thinks he'll unlock his power if he stands up to Lord Garmadon" Nya said

"Why would he think that?" Zane asked

"He thinks he's the Green Ninja" Nya said, and Crystal's eyes changed into red

"Emergency! Emergency!" Crystal shouted

"What is it Crystal? What's the emergency?" Zane asked his little sister

"I sense someone is injured in that room" Crystal said as she pointed

"Who?" Wu asked

"It is... *Gasp* Miku! She needs medical emergency immediately!" Crystal said

"We need to hurry then!" Akatsuki said

"Stand back!" Cole said as he summoned his power and broke down the door to find Kai had defeated Garmadon and a unconscious Miku

"I defeated him! I did it! Are my eyes glowing? Did I unlock my powers? Is this my true potential? Argh! Why isn't it working?!" Kai asked

"Because you can't defeat someone who allowed himself to be defeated" Wu said as he helped his brother up

"I was only fetching your weapons with my daughter" Garmadon said

"But you guys were trying to steal them!" Kai said

"I asked him to get them. Perhaps it is best you do not reach your true potential, or else someone could get hurt" Wu said as he glanced at his niece who was unconscious, and Crystal treating her wound

"Way to go, hero" Cole said looking disappointed

"How is my daughter? Is she gonna be alright" Garmadon asked

"She'll be alright. She didn't hit anywhere that is life threatening" Crystal said as she wrapped the bandages on Miku's head

"Thank goodness" Garmadon said looking relieved

"Let's take her to room. She'll wake up when we come back from the Temple of Fire" Crystal said

"I-I'll carry her to her room!" Akatsuki volunteered as he picked up Miku

"I'll follow along" Garmadon said as he followed Akatsuki to Miku's room

"Dude, seriously?" Cole looked at Kai with a bit of anger

"Why did you hurt Miku? She didn't do anything wrong" Jay said

"But... But I thought..."

"But nothing. You harmed my niece and it is unforgivable. You apologize to her when she wakes up" Wu said and the ship landed

"Sounds like we've finally reached our destination" Cole said

They all rushed outside and both Akatsuki and Garmadon both came outside on the deck

"The Fire Temple"

"Woah" Akatsuki and Crystal were in awe

"I want you two to stay here, it'll be too dangerous especially with an unstable volcano" Zane said

"We understand. We'll wait for your return" Crystal said

"Bring back Lloyd for Miku's sake" Akatsuki said, and the ninja, Wu and Garmadon left the Bounty

"The volcano seems to be on the verge of eruption, guys. All recent indicators tell me that this place is becoming increasingly fragile. Even the smallest rupture can make the whole thing go off" Nya said through the speaker

"Then we must not use our weapons" Wu said as Cole, Jay, and Zane put away their Golden Weapons except for Kai

"Kai" Nya called out to her brother

"Yeah, yeah. No Fire sword" Then Kai put his sword away "But only because I wouldn't want anything to prevent us from getting that Fangblade" Kai said

"Or my son" Garmadon said

"There. The Serpentine must be inside the inner core. From here on out, we travel by shadows" Wu said as they all started running inside

"It's the only way I know how" Garmadon said

As they traveled deeper into the volcano, they found the Serpentine digging for the Fangblade

"There's Lloyd" Jay whispered and pointed at Lloyd who was locked inside the cage

"*Gasp* Son!" Garmadon whispered shouted as he saw his son

As the the Serpentine digs, one of the Serpentine hit something metallic

"Argh, out of my way, fool!" Pythor said as he pushed the Serpentine to the side and pulled out the third Fangblade "The third Fangblade is ours!" Pythor said as he lifted up the blade and the Serpentine cheered

The ninja, Wu and Garmadon were sneaking, until Pythor saw them through the reflection of the blade

"Ninja? Attack!" Pythor ordered and the Serpentine started to attack the ninja

"Light as a leaf! Attack like there is no tomorrow!" Wu said as they started fighting back against the Serpentine

"Wind!" Jay said as he releases a gale through a volcanic burst and attacks the Serpentine

"Ice!" Zane created a slide of ice, he slid down and kicked down the Serpentine

Kai was surrounded by the Serpentine, and ignoring the warnings, he took out his sword and the lava started glowing. Kai hit the Serpentine with his sword

"Kai, the weapon is compromising our safety" Nya said through the falcon

"I will do what I must" Kai said to himself

"Let's get out of here! But not before we leave them with a parting gift. Boys" Pythor said to the three Constrictai and they started digging into the ground, once they came out, lava spilled out

"They're making the volcano instable!" Zane said

"Any minute this place is gonna blow! We have to get out of here!" Jay said

"Not without my son!" Garmadon said

"Dad!" Lloyd called to his dad

Garmadon wasted no time jumping over the lava, and he started fighting the Serpentine. As he fought, Pythor grew annoyed

"Argh! Lose the boy!" Pythor ordered and the Serpentine carrying Lloyd's cage dropped him by the rocks as the lava raise

"Dad!"

"Lloyd!"

Garmadon fights through the Serpentine as he tries to rush towards his son, one Serpentine was holding a spear in his hand, Garmadon charges towards them, he grabbed the spear and tossed the Serpentine over him. Garmadon used the spear to jump over the Serpentine, and finally made it to where his son is. He lifted up the handle that holds cage and brought up Lloyd

"Dad" Lloyd hugged his dad

"Son" Garmadon hugged his son back

"The Fangblade's mine!" Kai ran passed both Garmadon and Lloyd to get to Pythor

"Come back, it's too dangerous! The whole place is gonna explode!" Cole shouted 

"Then I better be quick!" Kai said as he ran faster towards Pythor, as Pythor was about to escape, Kai pulled out his sword and threw it, the Fangblade is no longer in Pythor's grasp. Pythor hissed at Kai and he tried to pull the sword out to get the Fangblade back

"Hurry, we must leave here at once!" Skales said as Pythor ran away as more lava bursts out, but that didn't stop Kai

"Leave it, Kai! It's not worth your life!" Jay shouted

"Not without that Fangblade!" Kai said as he dodges the falling debris and the lava raising

"But what about Kai? Kai!" Lloyd called out his name, but failed to notice the ground breaking beneath him

"Lloyd!" Garmadon tries to grab him, but it was too late. The broken part of the ground fell into the lava with Lloyd

"Dad!" Lloyd cried out, Garmadon wanted to save him, but the others held him back "Dad! I'm sinking!"

"It... Ugh! It won't budge!" Kai continues to pull out his sword, but it's stuck tight. Finally, after some pulling, Kai pulled out his sword, but the Fangblade fell by the edge of the lava

"We have to get out of here, or else none of us will get out of here" Wu said as they escaped through the only exit left

"But my son!" Garmadon said as he tries to go back, but the way was now blocked

Kai jumped down from rock to rock, as he got close enough, Kai reached out and tries to grab the Fangblade as it continues to slip into the lava

"Come on, why won't my power unlock?" Kai asked himself

"Kai! Help me!" Kai turned to look at Lloyd. He looked at Lloyd and then looked at the Fangblade. Finally, Kai made his decision, he went towards Lloyd

"Come on, let's get out of here" Kai said to Lloyd as he picked him up

"But the Fangblade..."

"Forget it! This place is coming apart!" Kai said as he tries to think of way out

On the way out

Wu, Zane, Cole and Jay ran outside while pushing Garmadon to head outside

"Lloyd! Lloyd!" Garmadon called out to his son as they got to the Bounty, Nya flew the ship up as the volcano erupted

"Kai..."

"Son..." 

Then suddenly something came out from the peak of the volcano, it was Kai who unlocked his true potential while carrying the knocked out Lloyd

"It's Kai! He's found his true potential!" Jay said

Once Kai landed on the ship, he put Lloyd down and his body is no longer glowing. Then, Kai passed out

Miku P.O.V

I started to open my eyes and I stared at the ceiling of my room

'What happened? Last thing I remember was helping dad fetching the ninjas weapons and then...' Then Kai pushed me to the wall and I hit my head on the wall 'I know Kai didn't mean to hurt me, I guess his urge to defeat my dad got the better of him' I thought as I got up from my bed and someone entered my room

"Miku! Thank goodness you're okay!" Akatsuki said as he rushed towards me and hugged me

"A-Akatsuki! What happened while I was out?" I asked

"Well, a lot of stuff happened, but there is someone you need to see" Akatsuki said as he took out his hand and I grabbed it. He lead me to the Bridge, there I saw dad and Lloyd

"Lloyd..."

"Hey, Miku. Sorry for being gone for so long" Lloyd apologized to me with a tired look, I ran towards dad and my twin and hugged them

"Thank goodness you're back! I missed you so much, Lloyd!" I cried

"Me too. But Miku, I have a question" 

"What is it?"

"Why does dad have four arms?" Lloyd asked, and I chuckled at his question

"He's gonna be okay!" Cole said and everyone started cheering

"Thank you, Kai" Dad thanked Kai

"But how did you survive? How did you discover the key to unlocking your powers?" Zane asked

"I knew when I had to make a choice. I wanted the Fangblade so badly, to prove I was good enough to become the Green Ninja. But then I figured it out. All of my training to become the best ninja wasn't in preparation to become the Green Ninja, it was to protect him" Kai said as he looked at Lloyd, and everyone looked surprised for some reason

"What? What is everybody looking at me for?" Lloyd asked as dad moved me away from Lloyd

"That means..." Nya, Kai and Cole brought the Golden Weapons near Lloyd and the weapons started floating and I saw green energy surrounding Lloyd

"Woah" Crystal, Akatsuki and I awed

"Lloyd is the Green Ninja. I had thought it would be one of you, but it was him the whole time. It all makes sense. Not only have you four been chosen to protect the Golden Weapons, but also to protect the chosen one" Uncle Wu said

"That means..." I looked at dad and looked sad

"The battle lines have been drawn, brother. Sadly, our family has only become more divided. Brother versus brother, and now, son versus father" Uncle Wu said

"So, Lloyd is gonna have to fight dad?" I asked sounding sad and Akatsuki placed a hand on my shoulder

"I'm afraid so, dear niece" Uncle Wu said and we heard Jay chuckle

"This is heavy and all, but whatever happened to the Fangblade?!" Jay asked

No One P.O.V With the Serpentine

Pythor and the Serpentine were slithering the now less unstable volcano, Pythor looked at the lava flow and saw the Fangblade. He used his staff to get it and tossed it to one of the Serpentine who were crying in pain from how hot the blade is

Now they need only one more Fangblade
