Miku P.O.V

It has been a couple of days since Lloyd and Akasuki came and moved in, I was very happy to be reunited with my twin brother, and I even became friends with Akasuki, but I'm still confused about why Akasuki's face turn red when I hug him or when I approach him. I think the ninja and Nya know, but they said I have to wait until I'm older

'Grown-ups can be weird sometimes' I thought to myself

I was about to start coloring when I noticed my crayons are broken

'Maybe I should ask Nya or Uncle Wu if they can get me new crayons' I left my room, and I heard the ninja arguing with each other 'What are they arguing about?' I opened the door

"You couldn't just be happy with the top score, you had to rub it in my face!" Kai yelled at Cole

"Do you know how long it took me to make that? Three days!" Cole yelled at Jay

"It's an unsaid law, okay? You don't touch a man's robot!" Jay yelled at Zane

"How am I supposed to strike fear in this? It's pink!" Zane yelled at Kai as he was holding his ninja Gi, but it's pink

"Guys? What's going on?" I asked

"Well, sweet Miku, Cole here topped my high score and decided to rub it in my face!" Kai said

"Jay ruined a recipe I've been working on! It took me three days to make it!" Cole said

"Zane tempered with my training bot!" Jay said

"Kai washed his Gi with mine, and now they're pink!" Zane said

"I'm glad mine is as major as you guys" I said, and they looked at me with a confused look "Someone broke all of my crayons" I pulled out my now broken crayons

Then Uncle Wu came in and slid the door revealing both Lloyd and Akatsuki who were both laughing

"You two did this!?" They all yelled in unison

"Boys, I get first dibs on them!" Cole said as he was about to approach both Lloyd and Akatsuki, but I blocked his path

"No dibs! I put them up to this for today's lesson. I wanted to show you the destructive power of rumors and jumping to conclusions can only lead you to trouble. Did you ever think to find out the accusations were true?" Uncle Wu said

"Uh... No offence sensei but let me jump to this conclusion. Today's lesson was lame" Cole said

"Yeah. Why can't you teach us to paralyze your enemy with one finger or find out if a man is lying by a twitch of his nose?" Jay asked

"Because not all lessons are about fighting! And I misplaced my lesson book" Uncle Wu said

Kai noticed something on Lloyd, walked towards him and pulled out Uncle Wu's lesson book

"You mean this lesson book?" Kai said

"It was a perfect plan until you had to show up and mess with everything!" Lloyd said as the screen door closed on both Lloyd and Akatsuki

"Does that mean they broke my crayons?" I asked

"I think so, kiddo" Cole said, and I puffed out my cheeks with a pout

"So cute~" I heard Akatsuki say

"Cute?" I tilt my head to the side

"Uh! I mean!" Then Akatsuki's words was all over the place, and I heard the ninja snickering. Then we heard Nya over the speakers

"If you guys are done fooling around, I could use you guys on the bridge. We still have a snake problem to attend to. Over and out!" Nya said

"It's one thing to have the children of your nemesis live with you, but having my sister here? I mean come on, I thought this was a ninja headquarters" Kai said

"You do know I can hear you. Over and out!" Nya said

Once Uncle Wu and the ninja left, I slid open the door where Lloyd and Akatsuki were

"Did you guys break my crayons?" I asked

"Yeah..." Lloyd said

"We're sorry" Akatsuki apologized

"It's okay. Let's catch up with Uncle Wu and the ninja" I said

Akatsuki P.O.V

Man, why is Lloyd's sister so cute!? And what was I thinking calling her cute out loud?!

"Hey, Akatsuki" Lloyd called me

"Y-Yes?!" I shouted

"Just because you're my best friend, doesn't mean I'm gonna let you date my sister especially when we get older and if my dad was here right now, he'll give you the stick eye" Lloyd said and I felt my face burn red

"D-Date!? N-No, Lloyd! You got it all wrong! S-Sure your sister is great and all, but I promise it's not like that! Plus, we're too young to even think about dating!" I said and Lloyd lifted up his eyebrow

"Alright, but know I'm keeping an eye on you" Lloyd said as he left

'Sigh...  I really need to be more careful, but... it's gonna be so hard!' I thought to myself as my face flushed red in embarrassment

I finally calmed down after a minute, and ran to catch up with the others

Nya P.O.V

When everyone came to the bridge, I started to tell them what I learned so far

"Last we heard of Pythor, he stole the Map of Dens from Lloyd, and is now on his way to open the last two Serpentine tombs" I said, and heard Lloyd groan

"Ugh. Don't remind me" Lloyd said and Miku put her hand on his shoulder to reassure him

"It's not your fault Lloyd" Miku said and Lloyd smiled at his twin

"Pythor's our most dangerous threat. If he finds those tombs before we do, with his intellect and all four tribes unleashed, there's no telling what he'll do" Master Wu said

"But those tombs could be anywhere. Without the map, we might as well just throw darts at the map" Jay said

"Good idea. Why don't we?" I pulled out two darts and threw it at the map "These are the two locations of the Hypnobrai and Fangpyre tombs" I said

"Show off" Kai said

"And this is Pythor's tomb" I threw another dart "After many hours of ruminating on why the tombs were placed in these three precise locations, I discovered a secret pattern" I pulled out a flashlight, aimed it at the map which revealed to be a snake "If you notice, all three are in line with the Ninjago symbol for serpent"

"So, the last two tombs must be here and here! Ah, you are so smart" Jay told me

"Was there ever any doubt?"

"There's little time. Kai and Jay, you head to the Venomari tomb. Cole and Zane, you take the Constrictai tomb. And take this" Master Wu took out the flute "You might need it if you run into Pythor. Good luck, ninja"

"What am I gonna do?" I asked

"Yeah! What are we gonna do?" Lloyd asked

"Nya, I need you here to make sure Lloyd and Akatsuki doesn't get into any more trouble" Master Wu said

"Yes, sensei" I said, not looking forward to babysitting

"Let's go, boys! We got some snakes to club!" Cole said as they all left

No One P.O.V - With Cole and Zane

Both Cole and Zane rode their vehicles to the Constrictai tomb, after some time they finally reached their destination. Their weapons changed back into weapons, but Zane is still upset about his ninja Gi in a pink color

"Well, our vehicles won't traverse the steps. We go the rest of the way on foot" Cole said

"But this is the Mountain of a Million Steps. Aren't we pressed for time?" Zane asked

"Then we'll take a shortcut" Cole said, he told Zane to jump on his back and Cole started climbing up the mountain

"Am I holding on too tight?" Zane asked

"Light as a feather, pinky" Cole said while grunting "Almost there"

Cole finally reached the top of the mountain; Cole was out of breath from the climbing, and they found the entrance to the tomb

"Looks like Pythor was already here. Perhaps we should investigate" Zane said

"Give me a second... Phew. Go on and start without me" Cole said, and Zane went down using the rope. Once he reached the bottom, he lit up a torch to see his surroundings. Then Zane saw a mural on the wall

"Huh. Didn't Momma Snake ever tell them not to draw on the wall?" Cole asked as he slid down using the rope

"These images describe a legend about one tribe uniting them all" Zane said

"Those snakes has been at war with each other for centuries" Cole said

"Well, it says here once they unite, they can find the Four Silver Fang Blades that will unleash the Great Devourer, an evil that will consume all of the land turning day into night" Zane explained

"You got all that from those little pictures?" Cole asked, looking surprised

But they were unaware of the creaking noise from behind them

"This gives me deep concern. If Pythor's not here, and unites all the tribes together before Kai and Jay find him-"

"Relax, Zane. They're bunch of dumb snakes who believe in fairy tales. If anything, we've got all the-" Then Cole went silent for a moment "Did you feel that?"

"What?" Zane asked

"There's something in the ground. Don't move" Cole said, then a snake appeared behind them, and the snake wrapped its tail around Zane

"I've been waiting for you. Pythor send his regards" The leader of the Constrictai said

"Did you stay behind just to tell us that?" Zane asked as he struggled to free himself "Pathetic"

"Look who's calling who pathetic, pinky"

"Only I call him pinky!" Cole swung his scythe and hit the ground, and the mountain started to shake a little. The Constrictai leader released Zane

"Zane, go for the rope!" Cole said as they both started running to the rope, but then Cole yelled

"Cole?" Zane turned to see what happened

Cole popped out from the ground and was groaning in pain. Cole saw the creaks heading towards him, he quickly pulled out the flute and started playing the tune that Master Wu played before. When the tune reached the ears of the Constrictai leader, he was in pain, but he managed to hit Cole using his tail and started squeezing him. Cole was calling Zane's name, but he was losing air quickly and he dropped the sacred flute

"Ninja, go!" Zane went towards the flute, and quickly started playing. But Zane messed up a few tunes. The Constrictai leader quickly grabbed Zane's throat, but it didn't stop Zane from trying to play the flute again, once he was able to play, the Constrictai leader released both Cole and Zane to cover his ears

"Wrap your head around this!" Cole knocked out the Constrictai leader

"Ah, good one" Zane said

"Thanks. But if he was expecting us, I think Kai and Jay are walking into a trap. Come on. Let's get out of here" Cole said as they left the tomb

With Kai and Jay

Kai and Jay were in their vehicles through the swamps of where the Venomari are. Once they believe they're close enough, their vehicles turned back into weapons

"Ew!" Jay scrunched up his nose

"Hey, it's not me. We're in the Toxic Bogs. This stuff will eat through you worse than Cole's chili" Kai said as he picked up a stick and dipped it into the swamp, and the sound of sizzling can be heard. Kai lifted up the stick, only to find part of it now gone. Both Kai and Jay jumped through the trees of the swamp to get to the entrance of the tomb quicker. They finally reached the Venomari's tomb, Jay pushed a button and strong smell came out from the tomb

"P-yew!" Then Jay's voice echoed, and he chuckled

"Let's just make this quick before Pythor gets here" Kai said

Jay entered the tomb first, but Kai heard something, coming from the other side

"This place looks empty. We must've just missed them" Jay said "Check this out" Jay went to the entrance again

"They say you're the Green Ninja, but I say I am!"

"I am! I am!" Jay's voice echoed

Jay was having fun, while Kai is still investigating the noise. Then he heard a frog croaking

"You shouldn't sneak up on people like that. Heh, if I wasn't such a well-trained nin-" Then coming up from the acidic waters was a Venomari snake, and he spit something in Kai's face "Jay? Jay!" Kai called out, but Jay was still playing with the sound of the echoes. The Constrictai snakes popped out from the ground, while the Venomari come out from acidic waters, Kai started to swing his sword around, but he started to see things differently

"Oh, this is not good! Jay! Jay!" Kai called out to Jay again, and this time he finally went to see what's going on "There are so many! Elves and gingerbread people everywhere!" Jay looked at Kai with a look of confusion

"Okay, I don't know what you're seeing, but this is no time to lose yourself. I need you, partner" Jay said as he pulled out his nunchucks

"I've never fought little people before! We're toast!" Kai said

Then Cole and Zane came, they landed near where Jay and Kai are

"Anyone order a little kick butt?" Then Cole's voice echoed with the word butt, and that made Jay laugh, and Pythor popped out from his hiding spot

"Boo!" Pythor scared Jay

Zane was about to play the flute, but Pythor took it from his hands

"No, let's not let some music ruin things, hmm?" Pythor said as both Constrictai and Venomari started corner them. The ninjas jumped onto a piece of a fallen tree, but the acid of the swamp started to sizzle it "I've got a sinking feeling this may be the last I see of you four" Pythor laughed at their demise

"That's it. I used to hate dragons, but now I officially hate snakes!" Cole said, and Kai looked up in the sky

"Wait, do you see that? A magic floating rope. We can climb to safety" Kai was about to step forward, but Jay held him back

"Boy, that Venomari venom is some powerful stuff" Jay said

"For whatever it is worth, it was an honor to fight beside you all" Zane said

"Me too"

"Yeah, ditto"

As they were about to accept their fate, a rope suddenly appeared in front of them

"Hey, what?" Cole looked confused

"The magic rope. Ha" Kai said

"Quick! Everyone, climb over!" Jay said

Coming from above was a big robot. Once it landed, the Serpentine started move back, the robot launched a net at them, it trapped the Constrictai, but the dug underground to escape, while the Venomari jumped back into the acidic waters, leaving Pythor alone with the robot

"Oh, dear" Pythor sounding scared, then the suit opened up revealing a person with a mask

"Pythor target confirmed. Time to bag and tag" The mysterious person said, and Pythor started to slither away, but not before he was shot by a dart. Once the ninja were no longer sinking, they walked towards the mysterious person

"Who are you?" Cole asked

"How about the coolest thing I've ever seen?!" Jay said excitedly

"Santa?" Kai asked

"Thank you, mysterious warrior. I owe you my life for saving-" Then the mysterious person sprayed them with something, knocking them out cold

Nighttime - Miku P.O.V

When we found the ninja, they were sleeping in the swamp. Around dinner time, Jay started to explain what happened

"So then, just when we were gonna bite it, this huge mechanical robot-"

"Samurai. It was a samurai" Zane corrected Jay

"A sama what?" Lloyd, Akatsuki and I looked at Zane with a confused look

"Samurai. Highest level of warrior class. They would protect nobility and serve with honor on the battlefield" Uncle Wu told us

"He was a hundred feet high, with weapons coming out from every part of him!" Kai said and looked at Uncle Wu "Look at sensei's beard. It's moving like snakes" Kai whispered to Cole and I couldn't help but laugh, and he looked at me "Woah. Miku, when did you learn how to change your hair color to look like a rainbow?" That made me laugh more

"When is this Venomari spit supposed to wear off? It's starting to get annoying" Nya said as Kai put a piece of sushi on his face

"Okay, don't let this mysterious samurai cloud what's really important: All the Serpentine are out, and if Pythor can unite them, the legend states some Great Devourer is gonna consume the land and..."

"Great Devourer?" Nya looked confused

"Whatever it is, it's a can of worms I don't wanna see open" Cole said

"Unh... It's all my fault. If I hadn't opened the first hatch, none of this would've happened" Lloyd said, looking down. Then Akatsuki put his hand on his shoulder

"Listen Lloyd, we can't change something that we did in the past, but we have the future to look forward to" Akatsuki said

'Wow. I didn't know Akatsuki can say the words like Uncle Wu would say' I thought to myself with an impressed look 

"Akatsuki is right. At least we have the Sacred Flute in our possession, so..."

"Yeah.... Ahem, about that..." Jay then spilled the tea, literally

"Pythor sort of stole it" Zane said as he awkwardly scratched the back of his head

"The last Sacred Flute gone?!" Uncle Wu looks angry, but he let out a breath "You four are Ninjago's last hope"

Then the alarm went off

"Cold-vision must have caught something. That means the Serpentine are near" Nya said

"Oh no! Ninjago city?!" Cole shouted as we made our way to the bridge

"How many are there?" Jay asked

"Looks like all of them" Kai said

'Looks like the venom wore off' I thought

"Pythor must be trying to unite them" Zane said

"Go! We mustn't let the five tribes unite!" Uncle Wu said as the ninja rushed out

I walked towards the window; there I could see the lights of Ninjago city

"Woah, that's Ninjago city?" I asked with stars in my eyes

"Yes, young one. But, for now it's bedtime. The three of you, off to bed" Uncle Wu said

"Okay" Three of us said in unison as we started to head back to our room. I was about to enter my room, when I felt someone grabbing my hand, I turned around to see Akatsuki

"Um... Miku, I know I apologized earlier, but I'm really sorry for breaking your crayons" Akatsuki apologized to me again

"It's okay, but why my crayons?" I asked

"Well... We were planning on taking your plushie, but you really had a strong grip on it" Akatsuki said

"Oh, yeah, the plushie is special to me. It was a gift from my dad" I said

"I see. Here" Akatsuki handed me a new box of crayons "I asked Miss. Nya to take me to a store so I can replace your broken crayons"

"Thank you, Akatsuki" I hugged Akatsuki, and I felt him go stiff. Once I released him from the hug, I opened door "Goodnight, Akatsuki"

"G-Goodnight, M-Miku" Akatsuki stuttered

The next day

In the morning, the ninja came back, and Zane started to make breakfast. Akatsuki and I went to the dining area, while Lloyd is still working on washing Zane's ninja Gi

"You know, whether it was in the lesson book or not, we used the destructive power of rumor to our advantage" Cole said

"And now the Serpentine are further away than ever from getting their act together" Kai said

"I don't think we would've gotten out of there if it hadn't been for Zane" Jay said

"Don't thank me, thank Lloyd. If it hadn't been for his laundry skills, we all would've been found" Zane said and we all laughed. Then Lloyd entered the dining area holding Zane's ninja Gi

"Well, it took me 20 loads, but your suit's no longer pink" Lloyd said as he handed Zane his Gi's and he turned to look at Cole "And to show that I'm sorry, Cole, I got you a can of nuts"

"Uh, ha-ha, yeah. Don't think I don't see what this is. When I open this, a bunch of snakes are gonna pop out, right? Yeah. No, thank you" Cole said as he walked towards the fridge, when he opened it a bunch of rubber snakes popped out, and we all laughed again
