~~~~(Heisuke's POV)~~~~
I was fighting Ayakashis when out of the corner of my eye, I spot movement. I took a quick glance and saw Katie running to the woods with Nobunaga's men after her. I tried to go after her, but was knocked down. I turned and saw that one of the Ayakashis had punched me. I jumped to my feet in a crouching position, and lunged at him.

"Aahh!" I yelled bringing my blade to it's chest. "Fang blade!" I screamed, my sword began to glow. My sword grew in size and length, and I swiped at an angle. Cutting the demon in half. It released a groan and fell to the ground. I went to cut another Ayakashis demon, when Saizo jumped next to me. He brought the demon down in one blow. He turned to me saying,

"Heisuke, you and Sasuke go after the princess. We will catch up shortly." While he killing more Ayakashis. I nod and run into the woods with Sasuke on my tail. Come on Katie, where are you? I kept asking that in my mind and pushed myself to go faster.

"Entei!" I heard a familiar voice scream. Katie! I turned towards Sasuke and said,

"Let's hurry." He tilted his head and we ran. We ran another couple of yards to come to an abrupt stop. One of Nobunaga's men had Katie over their shoulder. Sasuke jumped towards the trees to attack, as I attacked from the ground.

Ayakashis fought both of us, and more appeared from the fog as Katie was being taken away. Anger pulsed through my veins, making my blood boil. I could feel my demon side coming out. My form was changing. I began to grow fox ears, my nails grew into claws, and I had nine white fox tails. I had mysterious markings on my face that glowed blue when using my powers. I'm a descendent of the nine-tailed fox and specializes in using illusions and spirit fire.

I was barely able to see Katie as she was carried into the fog. Before she disappeared I yelled her name. Hopefully not for the last time.

"Katie!" I was ambushed by more Ayakashis. I stood up and spread my arms wide, "Foxfire, burn!" A big blue pool of light appeared behind me, and a bunch of blue balls of fire come flying out. Attacking the Ayakashis, burning them. Once the last Ayakashis was burned to nothing but ash, did Sasuke appear.

Sasuke was a descendant of the raven and can control the wind. He can even communicate with the Ravens and crows. He has mysterious markings on his face and hands like me. But his glow green when he controls the wind. He has big black Raven wings on his back, and has feather like ears on the sides.

Saizo is a descendant of the dragon. He can control weather, elements, and has markings like the others. His markings glow purple. He has wings like Sasuke, but are scaled and more dragon like. His ears are pointed, has horns on forehead, and fingernails are black claws.

Kortaro is a descendant of the giant snake. The tactician of the group and can also create powerful barriers and also controls water. He's smart, wise, sneaky like a snake. He just has strange markings like us on his hands and face. His markings glow like an aqua color.

Goemon is a descendant of the Underworld God. He has incredible strength, controls fire, and has markings like the rest of us. His glow red. He has two long horns on his head (like hell boy, but thinner.) has red like scales on his shoulders down to elbow, then is big armor plating. Red with black symbols.

"Damn it." I was pissed. We were both staring off in the distance where Katie disappeared. The others showed up shortly. We stood in silence, that was until Enti walked to my leg. He grabbed my pant leg as if to tell me something.

"What's gotten into Entei?" Goemon asks.

"I don't know, maybe he wants to show us something." Entei turned towards my right, but wobbled. He was hurt, but he tried not showing it. He walked off, then into a sprint through the woods. We came to a small cave. Entei walked over to a balled up sweatshirt.

"Isn't that Katie's sweatshirt?" Sasuke questions. I bent down, and pulled the sleeve back revealing Kuroro.

"Kuroro," I said sadly. She didn't look good at all. And from the looks of things, this was her blood. I picked her up gently. Kortaro came over and examined her. He carefully took her from me. I could trust Kortaro, he was good with medicine and herbs. We went back to the house to plan our next move. I looked to the darkened sky, stating off into space.

"I will find you Katie, and bring you back. Even if it costs my life, I would do anything for you. Promise."

~~~~(Katie's POV)~~~~
I awoke to my head throbbing. I tried moving my arms but I wasn't able too. I couldn't even feel anything under my feet. It was like I was free falling. I was able to open my eyes to a squint. The room I was in was dark. There was no windows, but I was able to see light peek under something. A door maybe?

I faintly heard footsteps. Then the rattling of keys in a lock, and squeaking of the door opening. The lights flashed on. Good thing my eyes were closed. I opened my eyes again, slowly to adjust to the lighting. My vision was still blurry, how hard did I hit my head exactly?

"Ah, I see our lovely guest is awake." I heard a man say. This man was new to me. His voice was deep and gruff. After blinking my eyes a bit, my vision began to go back to normal. The man standing in front of me was older, fifties maybe?

His hair was slicked back into a ponytail, to thin whiskers of hair for a mustache. He had bushy eyebrows, some hair spiked out on the sides, and a pointy beard. He was wearing black pants, a red kimono like shirt with yellow/gold decorated stitchings. I knew he was a man from Japan.

"Who are you?" My voice quiet. He smirked.

"Well Miss Parker, my name is Nobunaga Oda." So this is the man that I keep hearing about. I can sense a bad vibe from him. "I'm going to ask you some questions, and you will answer them truthfully. If you don't, well let's just say, you'll regret it." I just hung my head, staring at the floor.

Then I just realized, that my body was hanging. My arms were tied above my head and wrapped with chains from the ceiling. My clothes had patches of dirt. My feet stung, from running in the woods without shoes.

"Where is the demon blade?" Demon what? What's he talking about?

"What?" I said.

"Don't play dumb with me princess. I know you know where it is. Now tell me!"

"I have no idea what you're talking about! Demon blade? Princess? I'm just an ordinary girl!" I yelled. This guy was making me mad. I know I should be scared, but I'm tired of being left in the dark. Nobunaga growled and raised his hand preparing to smack me. That was until another man walked into the room.

He had long white hair, grey skin, claws, horns on his head, and glowing yellow-green eyes. He was tall, like really tall. He wore a red Japanese kimono, with black outlining, and yellow stitched designs. Gold cup bracelets on the sleeves, and two necklaces. One was short, had black shards. The other went mid chest, gold circles. His chest was uncovered by the kimono.

"Mr. Oda, I advise you to not hurt the princess." The creepy mysterious person said. Nobunaga turned around surprised.

"Jinosuke, sir. I was just asking her where the artifact was located. She refused to tell us." This Jinosuke looked at me.

"What are you?" I voiced my thoughts aloud. He chuckled and smirked.

"Well princess, I, Jinosuke am a demon. Leader of the Ayakashis." He gestured to the other supposedly demons. They did look similar to him.

"Demons aren't real. That's nothing but fairytale, to scare kids." His smirk grew.

"She is telling the truth of not knowing the artifact's location." They both sat there for a moment in thought. "Mr. Oda, bring our other guest here. Maybe that will trigger her memory."

Nobunaga snapped his fingers, three men left the room. A few minutes later, I heard grunts and groans of pain. The three men come back, carrying a person. They threw the body onto the floor, facing me. My eyes widen upon seeing him.

"Father," my voice came out as a whisper. His body was hunched up in a ball. Hands tied behind his back, and feet tied. His clothes had cuts, and dried blood stains. His face was swollen. He had a black eye, split lip, bruises all over his face.

"Now, since we have your daughter, tell us what we wish to know, or suffer the consequences." My father stayed silent. "Have it your way." Then Nobunaga walked over to me, closed his hand making a fist. And swung at my stomach. The impact made me wince, knocking the wind out of me.

"Stop! Please don't hurt her!" My father pleaded. I looked over to my father's battered body. Nobunaga stopped in mid swing, and looked at my father.

"No father.....don't say...anything....I'll be..fine.." I gave him a smile of reassurance.

"We'll leave them for now. Enjoy your last few moments, we'll be back." Jinosuke left followed by Nobunaga, his men and demons. When the door closed, my father tried speaking to me.

"Katie, Katie listen to me." I look at him, with pained filled eyes. Not because I'm hurting, but pain for seeing my father in his state. There's no way he could last much longer, but he had too, until the others arrived. "I won't last much longer....I wanted you to know......that I've done everything.....to protect you..."

"Father please, stop talking. Save your energy." My voice breaking, on the verge of tears. He just smiled at me. The door opened revealing Jinosuke, Nobunaga, Ayakashis, and a few henchmen.

"Now are you ready to talk Mr. Parker?" Jinosuke asked. I can tell he isn't a very patient person. Father just stayed quiet, keeping his brown eyes on me. Jinosuke's eyes held anger and frustration. He tilted his head towards my father, and two Ayakashis grabbed ahold of him.

"No, no, please stop! Don't, leave him alone!" I screamed. The Ayakashis held my father upright. My father was weak, and his head hung. Nobunaga walked over to my father and grabbed ahold of his light brown hair like mine. He pulled my father's head back, showing his neck. He pulled out a small dagger, and placed by my father's pale skin.

"Any last words miserable human?" My father just stayed quiet. "Suit yourself," Nobunaga dragged the dagger across my father's skin. Crimson blood dripped, then began to flow out of his throat. The Ayakashis released my father, letting him drop to the cold floor. He choked on his blood trying to breathe. He even tried to talk.

" I...lo..ve....you......Katie...." He said in between coughs. I saw the color drain from his skin, and blood pour from his throat, and mouth.

"I love you too, father." I whispered. A smile appeared on his face, as I watch the life in his eyes fades away. Silent tears cascade down my cheeks. His eyes closed, and I heard him take his last breath.

"Now that's done, we can move with the plan. Get rid of the body, he was no use to us anyway." Jinosuke orders. Nobunaga's henchmen take my father's lifeless body away, out of sight. "I want you two to stay outside the door. Make sure no one gets in, nor does she come out."

Then he left, as the Ayakashis shut and locked the door. When I heard the deadbolt, I let the out a sob that I was chocking back. My body shook, as tears ran down my red cheeks.

"Father!" I yelled out in pain and sadness. I just hanged there. In the cold dark room, crying, shaking, and in pain. Some physical, but most of all emotional. I can't believe that he's gone. First mother, possibly Kuroro, and now father. He's gone....
