Lloyd woke up to the sound of crying babies. All of the ninja had started to get used to it. Ever since Jay and Nya's kids were born, it became a pretty normal sound for everyone to wake up to. It had been about 8 weeks since the babies were born. Lloyd got up and walked out to the kitchen where he was greeted by Kai.

"Hey Greenie," Kai said. "What's up?"

"Just the usual," Lloyd answered. "The kids make a great alram clock," he joked.

"I agree with that. They woke me up too."

"I think I'm going to go for a walk out in Ninjago City." Lloyd started walking towards the door.

"Ok. Have fun and don't stay out too long."

"You're not my dad!"

"I'm just saying that we don't want to send out a search party for you." Kai chuckled.

"Haha! Very funny! I'll see you later." Lloyd walked out of the monastery and started to head to Ninjago City.

Ninjago City

Lloyd was walking down the streets, enjoying a little time to himself when he heard a woman screaming, "Help! My baby!"

Lloyd looked around and saw a stroller rolling down some stairs by itself. Lloyd ran to it and managed to save it before the stroller turned over. He started hearing crying and looked inside and saw a small couple week old baby boy. The baby looked a lot like him which he thought was just a coincidence. "It's ok little guy," Lloyd said to calm him down. "You're safe."  The baby stopped crying.

"Oh my gosh!" he heard the woman again who was running up to them. "Thank you! Thank you so-Lloyd!"

Lloyd turned around and looked at the woman. "Britney! Hi," Lloyd said sheepishly.

Britney had dark brown hair with auburn highlights and dark brown eyes. "It's been a while."

"Yeah. Over 9 months. I didn't know you had a kid! I didn't know you were pregnant!"

Britney looked down at her kid and picked him up out of the stroller. "Max, there's someone I would like you to meet." She turned the baby to face Lloyd. "This is Lloyd...your father."

"Father!" Lloyd stood there in shock. He remembered that night that he didn't return to the monastery. He felt so ashamed by what he did. He had told no one what had happened. He didn't know that it had resulted in a kid! His kid!

Britney looked at Lloyd worriedly. "Lloyd? You ok?"

"Y-yeah. I just wasn't expecting this today. His name is Max?"

"Yeah. Max Garmadon."

Lloyd looked at Britney confused. "You gave him my last name?"

"Of course! You're the father." Britney looked at Lloyd seriously. "Look, I do want you to be a part of his life. I believe that a child needs their father." Lloyd didn't respond. "Give me your phone." Lloyd handed his phone to Britney. She added him to her contacts as well as adding her to his. "I'll text you later and we can meet somewhere to discuss everything. Ok?" Lloyd nodded. "We'll talk later. Bye Lloyd." Britney walked away with Max. Lloyd stood their for a minute in shock, trying to process everything before deciding to head back to the monastery.

Monastery

Lloyd arrived back at the monastery and walked to his room. On his way, he walked past Jay and Nya's room and they could hear him mumbling something as they were trying to get their kids to sleep. Justin had fallen asleep, so Jay gently placed him in the crib and went to go talk to Lloyd.

When Lloyd went into his room, he didn't realize that he left the door open. Jay looked inside and saw Lloyd pacing and mumbling something that he couldn't make out. "Hey Greenie. You ok?"

Jay's voice pulled Lloyd from his thoughts. "What? Oh yeah."

"Something's up. You can tell me. I'm your friend."

Lloyd tried, but he couldn't hold back anymore. Tears started forming in his eyes. He sat down on his bed. "I did something bad!"

Jay sat next to him and started rubbing comforting circles on Lloyd's back. "It's ok," Jay said comfortingly. "Whatever it is, it can't be that bad."

"And you can always tell us." Both boys looked up to see Nya standing in the doorway. She walked over and sat on the other side of Lloyd. "Now, what's wrong?" Nya asked concerned. Neither of them had ever seen Lloyd like this and it worried them.

"You guys would probably understand more than the others," Lloyd started. "Remember that night that I went out and didn't return until the morning?" They both nodded. "Well, I kind of had...a one night stand with a girl I had met that night." Jay and Nya gasped and Lloyd didn't look at either of them.

Jay and Nya glanced at each other and they both knew there was more to the story. "Keep going, Lloyd," Jay said and put a hand on Lloyd's shoulder.

Lloyd continued. "When I went for a walk, I saved this baby and the mother turned out to be the girl I had the one night stand with, her name is Britney. We started talking and she told me that the baby's father is-" Lloyd stopped himself. He didn't know if he could continue. He felt ashamed and embarrassed.

"It's ok, Lloyd," Nya said calmly. "Take a deep breath and then you can continue."

Lloyd did as Nya told him. "The father is...me." Jay and Nya had a feeling that was coming, so they didn't gasp or anything. Instead, they pulled Lloyd into a group hug to get him to calm down a bit, so they could talk to him more about his situation.

When he calmed down, they pulled away.  "So...what are you going to do?" Jay asked.

"She said that she'll text me later, so that we can meet and discuss what to do."

"Do you want to be a part of his life?" Nya asked.

"Of course I do!  When I saw him, I knew there was something about him.  When Britney told me that he was my kid, I knew I wanted to be a part of his life.  I don't want him growing up like I did...but I don't just want to be a part of his life."

"What do you mean?" Jay asked.

"That night I had with Britney was actually amazing.  I really liked her, but when I woke up and saw her sleeping next to me and had realized what had happened...I panicked!  I just grabbed my things and ran out of there."  Lloyd sighed.  "I really want a second chance with her."

"Maybe you should tell her that," Nya suggested with a smile.  "But first, you have to tell Wu and Misako."

"What?!"

"Nya's right," Jay started.  "Master Wu is your uncle and Misako is your mother.  You need to tell them.  You don't need to tell the others right away.  Just your uncle and mother."  He started to stand up.  "And if it makes you feel better, we'll go with you to tell them."

"Really?"

"Of course!" Nya said.  "We're friends and friends help each other out."  Nya stood up too.

Lloyd also stood up.  "Thanks guys."

The three of them walked over to the kitchen to find Wu and Misako alone.  They knew that this was the perfect time to tell them since none of the others were around.  Jay and Nya gave Lloyd a little nudge because of how nervous he was of their reaction.  He finally spoke.  "Mom.  Master Wu.  There's something I need to tell you."  His voice was a little shaky.

"Of course, sweety," Misako responded.

"Um...Over 9 months ago, I had a one night stand with a girl named Britney.  I hadn't seen her again until today when I saved her kid which also turned out to be my kid."

"Slow down!"  Misako said harshly.  "You had a one night stand and got her pregnant!"  Misako noticed the pained look on Lloyd's face and she realized that she was being too harsh on him because he knew his mistake and was still having trouble taking it all in.  "I'm sorry.  I shouldn't have said that so harshly."  She walked over to him and hugged him.  Tears were forming in his eyes.  "It will be ok," she said comfortingly.  "Is it a boy or a girl?"

"It's a boy."

"What's his name?"

"Max Garmadon."

Misako pulled Lloyd away to face him.  "That is a nice name."

"Did he inherit your powers?" Wu asked.

"I believe he did," Lloyd answered.

"Do you want to be a part of his life?" Misako asked.

"Yes.  His and her's."

"You really like this girl.  Don't you?"

"I do."  Lloyd heard a ding from his phone in his pocket and took it out to see a text from Britney.

Britney: Meet me at the bakery 2morrow at 1

Lloyd: C u then
