Jay, Nya, and Lloyd were in the living room with their kids.  Lloyd was really stepping up to the plate of being a father.

The others walked in.  Cole, Kai, and Zane had been hanging out together more because of how Jay, Nya, and Lloyd were parents.  "Hey Lloyd," Kai said.  "You're watching Max.  Where's Britney?"

"Working," Lloyd answered.  Britney worked at Borg Tower.  "She has to make money to care for Max."

"If she needs-" Cole started.

Lloyd interrupted.  "She doesn't want to be a burden on us.  She wants to be able to be independent."

"What about her parents?" Zane asked.

Lloyd sighed.  "Her parents kicked her out after finding out she was pregnant.  She had to start taking care of herself and wants to continue doing that."  Lloyd noticed Max yawning.  "You tired, buddy."  Lloyd picked him up.  "I think it's time for your nap."  Lloyd looked back up at the other ninja.  "Excuse me guys."  Lloyd took Max to his room where they had set up a crib for Max for when he's over.

Jay and Nya picked up their kids too.  "I think that it's time to for Justin and Alex to have a nap also," Jay said.  They walked to their room to get their kids to sleep too.

"Man, they have really changed since becoming parents," Cole commented.

"We just don't understand what they're going through," Zane said.  "We aren't parents."

"I don't think Skylor and I are ready to have kids," Kai said.

"Same with me and Seliel," Cole said.

"PIXAL and I would actually have to build kids if we wanted them," Zane said.

Britney walked in and saw the three ninja just talking.  "Hey guys," she said.  "Where's Lloyd?"

"He's in his room," Kai said.  "He was putting Max down for a nap."

"Thanks."  Britney walked to Lloyd's room.  When she got there she saw Max peacefully sleeping in his crib with Lloyd standing over it, admiring his son.  Britney walked up behind him and wrapped her arms around him.  "He's so cute when he's sleeping," she whispered in his ear.

Lloyd smiled.  "He does."  Lloyd turned to face her, wrapping his arms around her.  "How was work?"

"Eh.  It was work."

"I meant it when I said that if you need anything from us-"

Britney interrupted him.  "I'm ok Lloyd.  I can take care of myself, but if I do find myself needing assistance, I know who to call."  They shared a deep, passionate kiss.  They didn't break apart until they needed air.  "I should get going."  Britney carefully picked Max up, so she didn't wake him.

"I guess I'll see you tomorrow."

"Yeah.  See you tomorrow."  Britney left with Max.

Ninjago Park

1 year later

Jay, Nya, Lloyd, and Britney were walking their kids in the park.  They had started to do things together a lot with their kids.  The three kids had actually already said their first words and had started walking.

"Brit, how has work been going?" Nya asked.  Brit became Britney's nickname, although it's mainly used by the girls and Lloyd.

"It's been good," Britney answered.  "I just got a raise."

"That's great!"

"You deserve it," Lloyd said and put an arm around Britney.

Jay looked over at Nya, trying to hide that he was nervous about something.  Nya noticed.  "What's wrong?" Nya asked him.

Jay gulped, knowing this was the time.  They all stopped walking.  Lloyd and Britney watched Jay and Nya with a smile because they knew what was about to happen.  The kids looked confused about why they stopped.  "Nya," Jay started.  "You are the most amazing girl I've ever met.  We've been through so much together.  We've had kids together and...I want to spend the rest of my life with you."  Jay got down on one knee and pulled out a little black box.  "Nya Smith, will you marry me?"  He opened the box, revealing a beautiful ring with a big sapphire.

Nya stared at the ring for a minute, shocked before responding.  "Yes Jay.  Yes."  Jay got up and the newly engaged couple hugged.

"Well, isn't that nice."  The group looked to see an ominous man watching them.  They had never seen him before and it made the three ninja have a sinking feeling in their stomachs.  They had a feeling that something bad was about to happen.  "I have to say that I really am happy for you, but I also have my own agenda."

"What do you want?" Lloyd asked.

"Elemental masters and their kids.  Such prized possessions, especially when the kids inherit their parents' powers."

"Inherit elemental powers?!" Britney asked Lloyd confused.

"I was going to tell you, but I didn't want to worry about it until Max was older," Lloyd said.

"Well, now I know!" Britney yelled angrily.

"Can we please discuss this later?"

Suddenly, people wearing black appeared behind the ominous man.  They looked like they were ready for a fight.

"Nya, get Britney and the kids out of here!" Jay instructed.

"What?!  I can't leave you!" Nya exclaimed.

"Nya, Jay's right!" Lloyd said.  "Jay and I will hold them off!  You guys go!  Now!"

Nya grabbed Justin and Alex and Britney grabbed Max.  "Come on Britney!"  They took off running to the monastery while Jay and Lloyd held them off.

Nya and Britney just kept running with their kids knowing that in order to protect them, they had to keep going.  When they got back to the monastery, Cole, Kai, and Zane saw them and noticed how they were out of breath and missing two people.

They ran up to the girls and the kids.  "What happened?" Kai asked.

"Where's Jay and Lloyd?" Cole asked.

"This guy," Nya started.  She was panting, trying to catch her breath.  "He wants elemental masters and their kids.  Jay and Lloyd stayed back to hold him and the guys he was with off."

"They told us to take the kids and run," Britney added.

"I'll call Jay," Cole said.  Cole stayed on the phone for a minute with no answer.  "He's not picking up!"

"I'll try Lloyd," Kai said.  Kai stayed on the phone for a minute with no response.  "He's not picking up either!"

"Where were you guys?" Zane asked.

"The park," Nya responded.  She was starting to panick along with Britney.

"We'll go to the park to look for them."  He turned to Cole and Kai.  "Let's go!"

The three ninja rushed to the park to find it empty!  There was no one around, but it looked like a fight had broken out.  "Where could they be?!" Cole was trying to keep calm, but there was a little panick seeping into his voice.

"They've got to be here!" Kai said determined.

Zane looked around and spotted a vengestone net.  "Oh no!"

Cole and Kai ran over.  "What is it?" Cole asked.  Zane showed them the vengestone net and Cole and Kai gasped.  They had their answer for what happened to Jay and Lloyd.

The walk back to the monastery for them was depressing.  No one said anything.  They didn't know what to say.  They had just lost two ninja!  They had no idea where they were taken.  The hard part for them was going to be to tell Nya and Britney and they all knew it.

When Cole, Kai, and Zane had arrived back in the monastery, the kids were sleeping inside and Nya and Britney were waiting outside.  PIXAL, Wu, and Misako were accompanying Nya and Britney after the two had told them what happened.  "Did you find them?!" Nya asked desperately.

Kai walked up to his sister.  "I'm sorry."  That was all Kai could get out of his mouth.

"No!  No, no, no, no, no!  NO!!!"  Nya broke down and Kai held her as she sobbed.

Britney also started to cry and PIXAL pulled her into a hug.

Wu held Misako, who was also crying because her son was missing.

Cole and Zane held their heads down.  They were trying to hold back their own emotions.

When everybody had calmed down a bit Zane spoke up to Britney.  "Britney, I think that it would be in yours and Max's best interest if you guys moved in here."

"What?" Britney asked.

"Zane's right," Wu said.  "They wanted the kids.  Max is in danger from this guy.  Here, he will be protected."

Britney was still unsure.  Misako walked over to her.  "Lloyd did what he did to protect Max.  Now, the best way to protect him is by him staying here and I know you want to be with him."  Britney gave a small nod.  "You are welcome to stay here.  You can stay in Lloyd's room for now since he has Max's crib set up in there."

Britney looked up at Misako.  "Thank you."  Tears started forming in her eyes.  Misako hugged Britney as she started sobbing again.

"We will find them!" Cole said determined.

"And we won't give up until we do!" Kai added.

Location Unknown

Lloyd woke up in a cell. He rubbed his head and looked around. He saw another person in the cell with him. "Jay!" Lloyd started shaking him. "Jay! Wake up!"

Jay woke up groggily and saw Lloyd staring down at him. "Lloyd? What's going on?" Jay slowly started getting up.

"I'm not sure. I know just as much as you do."

"Hey!" Someone started hitting the bars. He opened the door and walked up to the two ninja. "It's time for some...entertainment." He looked at Jay and Lloyd with a devilish grin. Jay and Lloyd attempted to use their powers with no luck. "You really think that will work?!" He laughed. This entire place is surrounded by vengestone!" Jay and Lloyd gulped. The man dragged them out and brought them to an arena.

Another man spoke over a speaker. "Welcome everyone! Today, we have some knew fighters who I believe you guys will enjoy! The elemental masters of lightning and energy!"

"Uh, Lloyd. They want us to fight," Jay whispered to Lloyd.

"This isn't good," Lloyd whispered back. A gate opened and a bulked up man came out. He looked very strong and Jay and Lloyd couldn't use their powers. "This isn't good."
