Since the new cameras were placed it in throughout the sanctuary, there were no reported dinosaur deaths and Keira felt like her theory was confirmed. Someone on the island had something against the dinosaurs and she intended to make sure that person was figured out. She had Claire go through everyone's background check one more.

However while she was preoccupied with keeping the sanctuary on it's feet with the recent events, she and Owen were being hassled by their families for a date of the wedding. The wedding was the last thing on her mind at the moment, she felt guilty about it, but she had a duty to make sure these animals were safe.

She placed her phone on silent and turned her laptop off before heading to the nursery to find Zach sitting there holding one of the microceratus with a wide smile on his face. She walked in and sat beside him.

"You know they'll be ready for their release here soon." she said.

"Really? But they're still so little."

"They are little dinosaurs Zach and you can't hold onto them forever."

Zach's smile faded.

"It's the hardest part, trust me. But it's the most rewarding experience to see them enter their herds. I promise you that." she said.

"So when will we release them?" he asked.

"Two days. Sound good?"

He nodded, stroking the little dinosaur under it's chin. "And don't worry, " she began,"you can see them whenever you want. They'll be right in the plains."

Blue stared at Yin who was fighting her halter as Owen was attempting to remove it but her thrashing was making it difficult. She was currently hidden among the brush. Yang appeared with a chirp but Barry appeared holding a rat over the enclosure to distract them. She took a step out revealing her hiding spot eyeing the rat. Yin growled as she neared and Blue responded with a screech in her face.

Owen gripped onto the halter tightly as Blue appeared and the two seemed to be ready for another fight. Blue stood beside Yang with a throaty chirp.

"What is wrong with you two?" Owen huffed.

"If Keira's theory is correct and Yang is in fact a male, Blue is just going to be territorial unless..."

"Unless?"

"We could try removing him from the paddock for a bit to see if tensions will lessen."

"Where would we put him? You want me to take him home?" Owen asked.

"We can put up a temporary divider." Barry suggested.

"I guess it wouldn't hurt to try it."

Keira arrived in the control room to find Lowery by himself.

"Cruthers." she said playfully plopping into a rolling chair. "Do you ever leave this building? I only ever see you in here or in the cafeteria."

"You like the plains, I like my computer spot." he said.

"Fair enough."

"Besides, I've been spending a lot more time at my place lately."

"Oh have you? And for what reason?"

"Michelle moved in." he said with a blush.

"You tramp!" she said pushing his arm. "That's exciting. I didn't realize you guys were so serious."

"Yeah well, we don't really talk much unless it's about work. You're really busy lately between the sanctuary and planning the wedding."

Her face dropped. "I'm sorry Lowery, I guess I have been so wrapped up. I always have time for my best friend." she said. "So what's new?" she said.

Lowery smiled as he and Keira spoke throughout the afternoon like they did during old times when they first arrived on the island years ago. It almost felt like yesterday when he met her as she arrived off the plane.

"Check this place out!" the excited teenager said as she jumped off the plane with her backpack strapped on her shoulder and a small pup in her arms.

Lowery stood behind Claire and Mr.Masrani. Claire's eyes widened.

"A dog? She has a dog." she whispered to Masrani.

"I see it." Masrani said through his teeth keeping a smile on his face before walking forward. "Welcome Miss Grant, I'm so glad you're here."

She smiled. "Well, thanks for covering my airfare." she said revealing a wide smile.

"Who's this?" Masrani asked peering down at the wiggly dog in her arms.

"Oh, this is Dino!" she said holding him up.

"Of course his name is Dino." Claire muttered under her breath. Lowery smiled as Keira looked over at them.

"Ah, Keira this is Claire Dearing, she is our park operations manager."

"Nice to meet you." Keira extended her hand, Claire went to shake her hand but Dino squirmed forward licking it. Claire yanked her hand back.

"Sorry, he's really friendly." she said.

"And this is Lowery Cruthers, he's our newest recruit in Masrani Global, he works in our control room."

"Hi!" she said.

"Hi." he replied shyly.

Mr.Masrani's phone went off. "Excuse me for a moment." he said before taking the call, a minute later he called Claire over. "We'll continue this later Miss. Grant, for now Cruthers can show you around." He said before they left the two.

Keira turned back to him. "Lead the way Cruthers."

 Claire walked into the control room with a folder in hand. 'I found something." she said.

Keira took it from her hand as Lowery scooted over in his chair to see it.

It was Jack Tabone's file.

"It says he used to work for a pharmaceutical company. Retired two years ago."

Keira felt her heart sink. She had wanted to believe that it wasn't Jack after hearing the touching story.

"He packaged a lot of drugs the doctor found in Loki."

Keira gripped the folder angrily.

"That bastard." she said.

"I've taken the liberty to bring him into the office and fire him. He'll be removed from the island immediately and is no longer permitted to fly here." Claire said.

Keira shook her head before leaving the control room throwing the folder down.

The workers gathered as the older man was being removed and placed into the helicopter.

"I swear I didn't do anything. I'd never hurt an animal!" he said. He looked over to Keira.

"Miss Grant you have to believe me. I could never bring myself to do somethin' like that. Sure, they made me nervous in the beginning, but I'd never forgive myself for betrayin' Diane's work."

Owen held her shoulder with a comforting squeeze, glaring at the man as Keira looked away.

"You better get out of here." Owen said.

Security placed the man on the helicopter closing the door as he continued to plead.

Keira looked back up as they stepped back as the helicopter began to depart. Jack gave her one last pleading look before the helicopter flew off.

Everyone stood around in silence.

"Let's get back to work." Keira said walking away.
