Chapter 6- Old Friend

I woke up early I made him breakfast I took it I in and fed it to him. I wasn't letting him do anything without my help. I cleaned the house. Then I decided to go get the groceries. I walked in the bedroom.

"Dearest I'm going to go get the food now." I informed him. He kissed me, I grabbed a bag and a long hooded coat. I slipped it on, pulled up my hood, and left. I walked to the market. I went to the fruits and vegetables. I checked everything out first. I was about half way done when I ran into someone. I dropped my bag.

"Shit." I blurted picking up what fell out.

"Yuki." I heard someone say. When I looked up I froze when I realized it was Jin. My old playmate from when I was human. When I realized his brothers the one I seen the other day in the woods with the samurai. His father was a noblemen.

"Jin." I said, standing up.

"It is you isn't it. Where have you been? We've looked everywhere for you." He demanded.

"You can't tell my father you seen me." I answered.

"Why he's worried sick about you. He thinks your dead." He said, angrily. I took a deep breath and looked down. But I knew I had little choice. I pulled down my hood and looked up at him. He was no longer the child I had once known. He was now a handsome samurai.

"That's why." I said, looking at my locket.

"How did this happen?" He questioned.

"I cant explain it. Just please don't tell my dad? He'd be disappointed." I said, pulling up my hood.

"I wouldn't say anything." He said, I smiled.

"Thank you." I replied.

"Just promise me you'll take care of yourself." He said, I nodded. I went to walk away when he grabbed my arm.

"Can we talk for a bit?" He asked, I nodded. So we walked to a nearby garden. He sat down while I took off my coat. I let my hair down and pulled out my tails.

When I noticed he was looking me up and down.

"What?" I questioned.

"I never realized how beautiful you've become. You've grown into such a fine young woman." He exclaimed.

"That's so sweet of you Jin. I wouldn't expect anything less you always were a charmer." I laughed.

"I mean it." He said, I stopped laughing when I realized he was serious. I didn't know what to say.

"To soon?" He asked.

"Actually I have someone." I said, nervously. He seemed angry. The next thing I know he gets up and leaves without saying anything.

"Okay then." I said, putting my coat on my bag. I picked up some meats and went home. When I got there Kayto was passed out. I covered him up and put the stuff away. When I was done I cooked dinner and washed the clothes by hand. I hung them out to dry. When I heard Kayto yell. I ran in to find him in the ground. I picked him up and set him on the bed.

"Now be good and stay in bed and rest." I commanded.

"I didn't know where you were." He said, as I covered him up.

"I was right outside I was hanging the clothes out to dry." I said, picking up his drink and bringing it to his mouth. He emptied it.

"Thank you." He said, as I put the cup down.

"You know I'll do anything for you." I replied.

"I know you will baby girl." He smiled, pulling some thing out of his pocket. He reached up and put something around my neck. When I looked down it was a beautiful gold necklace with a gorgeous white diamond on it. The diamond glistened and shined like the moon.

"Perfect." He smiled.

"Where'd you get this?" I asked, looking at it. It was in the shape crescent moon.

"Its the reason I got in trouble with those samurai. It's supposed to be a gift for the princess in her engagement. Kazuki's youngest daughter. It's supposed to be a very rare and precious diamond only found in certain parts of the world. So found its extremely valuable plus I had to fight off a bunch of samurai to get it. You deserve it a lot more then that spoiled pampered princess. Trust me I've met her she's a spoiled little brat. She's had everything handed to her on a golden platter sense she was born." He said, I looked down. I decided to tell him the truth.

"I haven't completely truthful with you. The truth is I wasn't born a kitsune. I was born as a human. But when I was born I was very sick. They said I'd be lucky even grow to be 15. So my caretaker who raised me did the only thing she could think of to save my life. She was a very powerful and old kitsune. She gave her life for me. My father was King Kazuki." I said, he looked at me dumb found and smiled.

"Well I'm glad she did because of her I met the love of my life and I'm glad you trusted me enough to tell me." He kissed my head. I hugged him.

"I am to." I replied.

"So your their older missing daughter?" He asked, running his fingers through my hair.

"Yes." I answered.

"Well no offense your little sisters crazy." He replied.

"I wouldn't know I've never even knew I had a younger sister." I exclaimed.

"I have because when I was on one of jobs. She was traveling and we accidently ran into each other. She wouldn't leave me alone. She followed me around like a little lost puppy. She even tried to force herself on me. So I ran away. I didn't even know her." He said, which pissed me off.

"Are you sure she's really my sister?" I asked.

"Yes you guys both have the same mother and father." He said, caressing my face.

"But I love you not her." He continued. I smiled.

"I know I love you to. Your my one and only." I replied kissing him repeatedly. He chuckled.

"And I'm never letting you go." He said, pulling me down on him. I laughed. When I heard someone knock on the door. I got up.
