It's been a while since I posted anything on this story and I gotta say, it was because I seriously didn't know what to post. I seriously wanted to make this story longer but with the way things are going, this is going to be one short story. I guess I'm not capable of writing long ass stories and I'm coming into terms with that. 

Besides I'm on a writer's block and since people are all up in my business about uploading another story, I've decided to post one. Do I sound mad? Because I certainly am not, I'm just tired of the constant 'upload requests' and no matter how many times I tell people to slow their rolls, they keep it coming so I admit defeat *sigh* 

But I do love your comments, but please stop asking for updates. I'll upload another chappie when I have the time. My loyal readers have an idea about my school shit and my medical problems and have shown great patience and I LOVE THEM for that but new readers, PLEASE  slow your roll

It was such a long time ago but I can still remember how I felt reading the book and to me it deserves to be acknowledged (that's my opinion; different people different opinion) Check it out XD

Chapter 9

It was like time work, my mother stood there as still as a statue all the while staring at Silas with a blank expression on her face. Heidi and Rhea stared wide eyed and open mouthed at Silas; disbelief and anger clear in their eyes. The men, well the men were a different story; all four men looked about ready to commit murder in my living room.

"Honey, what is he doing here?" Mama's soft voice broke through the rising awkward tension that was slowly suffocating the room.

I focused my attention on her only to see her looking at me with confused watery green eyes. I felt my heart break at the lost look she was shooting me. I walked up to her slowly and took her hands in mine before giving her a small smile of reassurance.

"Mama, he has explained everything to me. We've spoken about what had happened and I think we can work on whatever it is we're willing to have; If not for our sake then for the sake of our baby. I don't want him or her to grow up in a home that is filled with negative energy. That could just stunt their growth" I joked in an attempt to lighten the mood

Her eyes widen when she took in my words before I wide smile overtook her face. If she smiled any bigger than that, she could totally be mistaken for the grinning cat from Alice in wonderland which by the way a wonderful movie.

"You're pregnant?" Someone whispered beside me, their voice cracking a tad bit

I turned my head and looked into Rhea's nice chocolate eyes. I smiled softly at her awed expression and softly nodded my head.

"Yeah, I'm about 2 week along" I confirmed

Heidi and Sebastian joined mama and Rhea in congratulating me and cooing at my stomach; no matter how many times I tell them it's barely a peanut, they wouldn't listen and continue to talk to my tummy

Warmth filled my entire being at the accepting nature of my family

"I get keeping the baby but taking this piece of shit back, how can he do that?!" Easton snarled, silencing the people in the room and gaining the attention of those around me. I totally forgot about the murderous male members of my family.

I rolled my eyes at the short tempered Asian man, who by the way looks about ready to go in for the attack, before moving away from the women in the family and Sebastian.

I stood in between Silas and Easton, with Silas behind my back and Easton in before me, and placed a hand on my lower abdomen. Staring into Easton's dark eyes, I gave him a small smile and took his slightly large hands into mine. His eyes softened a little before it landed on Silas again and just like that, the death glare was back on.

I knew this was going to be a long night but damn it, I'm tired as hell and I need my sleep. I have work early tomorrow morning and I need to get up super early for it. If this continues on, I'll probably make Silas leave and come back another day when everyone in the room isn't thinking about killing him in front of me.

I moved closer to Easton so I was in his line of vision and placed his hands on my flat stomach. This might be the last time my stomach will be this flat because I am too lazy to exercise the baby fat away. Maybe I'll be one of those lucky ones that just have their baby fat magically disappear.

Please lord, let me be one of those lucky ones

Hands twitching on my stomach took me out of my mental rant and into the present. I looked up at Easton to see him looking down at my stomach with a blank expression

What is with my family and their expressionless faces?

Is this a trend nowadays?

If so, it needs to end immediately because it is causing too much unnecessary stress and it's bad for my health

"My nephew is in there?" He asked in a small voice, it made me smile to see him like this

"Or niece" I muttered

He rubbed his hands on my stomach before shaking his head. I felt my heart drop at the thought of him rejecting my child. I was about to move away from him and cry in a dark corner somewhere in the house when he spoke up

"I want a boy" He whispered, looking at me with soft and warm eyes, his lips were curled into a gentle smile. Seeing his positive facial expression, I grinned up at him with tears gathering in my eyes.

"Why?" I whispered. It felt as though the moment was fragile and I didn't want to risk breaking it by being loud.

"Because otherwise I'd be killing a lot of boys that will no doubt be looking in her direction if it was a girl; She'd become a nun after she graduates high school and nobody would be worthy of her love but us, her family"

I couldn't help myself, moment be damned. I threw my head back and let out a loud laugh. I never would've expected that answer. If I were to have a daughter, I would feel sorry for the little girl. She'd grow up in a household full of men that'd make sure she's watched 24/7 until they die. My baby wouldn't experience love if it were up to these men.

"I sure hope I have a boy" I said between laughs

Pulling me into his arms for a tight hug, he chuckled and nodded his head softly.

"Let's pray it comes out a boy" He teased, poking my side

I squealed before jumping back from him. Shooting him a playful glare, I huffed and crossed my arms over my chest and pouted up at my foster brother. He's breaking stereotypes by being this unnaturally tall and I've accidentally seen his love machine and I have to say, Poor Heidi

"Why do you have a weird look on your face?" Tristan asked from behind Easton, snapping me out of my weird reverie

Looking over at him, I blushed when I noticed how his amused eyes are trained on me like he knows what I'm thinking about and knowing our 'connection', the weirdo probably knows what I'm thinking of.

"You naughty boy" He teased, making me blush harder

Yep, he definitely knows what I'm thinking about

"What is it?" Heidi asked, tilting her head to the side in a confused manner as her eyes darted towards Tristan and me.

What do I say?

I don't want my baby sister to know that I've seen her boyfriend's cucumber before she has the chance to. I know for a fact that she hasn't seen it because she's such an innocent and shy girl while Easton is a very respectable young man. Besides, Easton tells me everything and I might've threatened Easton with a gun pointed to his joy stick.

But that's in the past and it's time to move on

"...isn't that right, Caleb?" I tuned back into the conversation

Confused, I looked around the room to see everyone's attention on me. I looked over at Heidi to see her looking at me in disbelief.

Oh God, she knows!

Running over to her, I took her hands into mine and brought it up to my face and held it there. Tears began to gather in my eyes as I looked into her beautiful green eyes. Worry etched onto her face, she opened her mouth to say something but I cut her off. Who wants to be told off by their younger siblings? I sure as hell don't

"Okay Princess, you have to listen and listen well. I didn't know he was in the bathroom and I really needed to pee. I swear I didn't see anything. Okay that's a lie because I saw everything! And I'm sorry Heidi. But when you decide to lose your virginity, you won't be walking for weeks because he's packing a monster" I exclaimed looking at her with wide eyes

Red sipped onto her cheeks making her look like a ripe tomato which is actually very cute. Do I get this red?

"Oh god" She mumbled, avoiding eye contacting with everyone while the members in the room roared with laughter except for Easton who stood there with a smirk on his face and amusement floating in his dark eyes. I looked around confused

Why are they laughing? I thought they already knew...unless...

"Tristan, what were you talking about?" I asked, dreading the answer

"I was just telling them about your cravings to explain your weird expression but thank you for the laugh" He managed to say through his laughter. Even Silas was chuckling; That traitor!

I let out a nervous laugh and rubbed the back of my neck

"Well at least everything is out in the open" I gave a sheepish smile to Easton who just shrugged and winked at me, making me smile

"Wait, how do you know I'm still a virgin?" A soft voice asked from beside me

I froze in my spot. I was about to dodge the question when Tristan decided to be helpful

"Come on Heidi, you're so innocent and don't even try to deny it. Your innocence is worse than Ash, for crying out loud!"

"And he threatened to shoot Easton's dick off if it came anywhere near you" Sebastian added, making me face palm and sigh.
