what i learned in english class was just quite simple
its like finding out who in your family has the dimple
or maybe who has the most pimples.

english class taught me that life is hard

and that we write our own page.
while we act by seven ages
we break free from all our cages.

english class taught me that life has a purpose
and that it depends on our choices.
it also taught me while inspiration is still present
all that matters is whats recent.

make your mark, don't ruin your shine.
cause whatever your legacy
it will be written in the sands of time.

what i learned in english class may be forgotten by others.
but for me, it will be in my heart and mind forever.
