Dropoffs Rejoice!

Venice knew he shouldn't have snapped like that, but it didn't make sense! Why send him to be an ordinary civilian while his brothers became powerful heroes?

He wandered near the back of the group, not wanting to have to talk to his brothers right now, and instead looking at the buildings of Sinseria.

Roofs swept to the sides like waves on the sea, and spiraling towers jutted out like rocks on the shore.
Nimbians of various groups walked the streets, not seeming to notice the group of returning teens as they walked the sidewalk.

Suddenly the group stopped, and Venice nearly ran into Shadow from behind. "Wh-Why are we stopping?"

"I figured we'd drop off kids as we go." Amanda announced, gesturing to the house beside them. "First stop, the Prowers."

Tails suddenly took his tails, wringing them nervously as they walked up the drive to a large, but welcoming house.
Venice could hear voices from the garage, and Amanda went up to the garage door, knocking on it. "Mr. Prower? Amadeus!" She called.

The side door opened, a fox covered in grease and dirt stepping out. "This had better be important, because I'm in the middle of a..." He paused as Sonic pushed Tails forward. "...Miles?"

Tails smiled shyly, forcing himself to release his tails. "...Yeah...?"

Amadeus' grin widened as he came to his son and hugged him. "Well hi, squirt! I missed you like you wouldn't believe!"

"I missed you too, dad...!" Tails' voice cracked as he hugged his father back.

Amadeus held him out at arms length. "Let me look at you... Goodness, you've got your mother's face. Say, you like airplanes?"

Any nervousness left Tails in that moment. "I built one, dad! I even fitted it with weapons and radars and stuff!"

Amadeus spun him around. "Well that's great! Because I build airplanes as a hobby. I was just working on one when you came up, and-" he smacked his forehead. "What am I doing? Rosemary, get out here!"

A few seconds passed, and then a light brown vixen stepped out of the house. "Amadeus, what's going...Miles, darling!"

Tails ran up and hugged her tightly. "I go by Tails, but I can be Miles if you want...!"

"N-No, no...Tails is fine...!" She kissed his forehead. "Oh, darling, I thought I'd lost you...!"

"Isn't it a wonderful sight?" Amy asked. "Seeing them all together again...!"

"I'm glad you think so, Amy..." Amanda replied. "Because you're next."

Amy bounced excitedly, taking Sonic's hands, and Venice hoped his dad would be happy to see him...to meet him.

The Rose residence was a few blocks down the street, and was a quaint, little cottage surrounded by a massive garden of flowers and a white picket fence.

As they got closer, Amy saw her mother tending to part of the garden, her back to them. "Oh...! Should I-"

"Go on, Ames...!" Sonic whispered.

Amy bit her lip, though smiling, and then walked through the gate and towards her mother. "...Mom?"

Mrs. Rose sat up straight, then turned and looked Amy in the eye. "Amy...!?" She got up, dropping her gardening tools and then gave a excited scream as she hugged Amy tightly. "My baby girl...!"

Amy heard her happy sobs, and started crying too. "Mom...I'm home."

"I'm so happy...! Your father's gonna freak when he gets home!" She replied. She wiped her eyes with her sleeve. "You've grown up to be so beautiful...! Just like these flowers you were born around...!"

Amy blushed. "You had me in the garden...!?"

Mrs. Rose nodded. "It was an accident, I assure you."

Amy shook her head with a grin, hugging her mom again. "I missed you, mom...! The Prowers were happy to see Tails again, too..."

"You got Miles back to the Prowers? Aww...That was sweet of you. Rosemary missed him terribly."

"We'll see you later, Ames!" Sonic called, and Amy waved as the group continued on.

"I see you found your heart-match again...!"

"Yeah...he's kinda awesome...!"
