Nikita's POV

I sat by Aragon as we made our way to Helms Deep with the citizens of Rohan. Legolas and some soldiers were keeping watch. The kings niece Eowyn was passing out bowls of stew. Gimli turned it down and Storm covered his nose. I knew it had to be awful for both Gimli and Storm to turn it down.

Eowyn walked over the Aragon and I offering some stew. I declined saying elves do not need much food and I eat before we left. Aragon accepted a bowl from her. She turned to leave and Aragon took a sip nearly throwing it up. I giggled as he went to tip the bowl out only for Eowyn to turn around. He quickly righted the bowl burning himself with the hot stew.

I didn't listen to their conversation and went to see Storm. I laughed as I watched from the corner of my eye, Aragon ate the stew while Eowyn watched and then gave him more. Just then there was a yell and yelp I turned to see Legolas had killed a warg. "A scout" he tells us readying an other arrow as Theoden ordered Eowyn take the women and children to Helms Deep.

Jasmine appeared at my side and I mounted her readying my bow. I kicked her side gently drawing my bow shooting the first orc I saw.  Storm ran by our side dispatching orcs and wargs alike. When I saw Aragon heading towards a cliff I jumped off Jasmine. "Protect each other find me later" I tell her and Storm. They both nod and went back to the fight while I went to help Aragon.

I had my daggers out now killing any orc or warg in my way. I reached Aragon and start trying to cut him free of the warg. But it was to late and the three of us tumble off the cliff as Aragon falls free. I grab him flipping us so that I would hit the floor first. We hit the water and everything went black.

The battle was over and Legolas searches for Aragon & Nikita along with Gimli. Storm and Jasmine already left heading to the river in search of their mistress. "Tell me where they are and I will end your suffering" Legolas tells an orc.

"They took a tumble off the cliff" the orc says spitting up blood while he laughs.

"You lie" Legolas sates not believing Aragon and Nikita to be dead.

"I don't think so laddie" Gimli says walking over with a necklace in his hand. "I found this by the cliff" he tells Legolas who kills the orc. Then takes Aragon's from Gimli and walks towards the cliff. There was no seen of Aragon or Nikita at the bottom besides a dead warg.

"We must go to Helms Deep leave the dead" Theoden tells everyone. "I am sorry" he says to Gimli and Legolas before walking away. Legolas and Gimli got on the white horse they share following the others to Helms Deep. Not saying a word as they grieved the passing of their friends.
