Nikita's POV

I woke up to pain in my head and looked around seeing Aragon unconscious beside me. "That is the last time I save your life" I tell him as I sat up. I turned into a fairy to heal my wounds and then  healed Aragorn's as Jasmine and Storm joined us with an other horse. "Hey guys nice to see you" I say as Storm licks my cheek and Jasmine nudges me with her nose.

"Brego" Aragorn says quietly near by as the other horse nudges him. I walked over to him and helped him onto Brego's back. "Thank you Nikita, but next time don't be so reckless" he says.

"Whatever lets go to Helms Deep" I say mounting Jasmine. But Storm smelt something and ran in the opposite direction. Aragorn and I follow him to see thousands of orcs heading towards Helms Deep. They'd be there by night fall, the others had to be warned. "Run Jasmine show us the meaning of haste" I tell my horse.

Aragorn did the same with Brego and they galloped hard towards Helms Deep. Storm followed us keeping watch on our backs. We reached Helms Deep quickly and were surrounded by people asking questions.

"Where are they? Where are those son of b!tches? I'm going to kill them" I heard Gimli's voice over the crowd. He soon reached us and smiled "you two are the luckiest people I ever known" he says pulling us into a tight hug. "Bless you both" he says and pulls away.

"Gimli, where is the king?" Aragorn asks as a stable hand took Jasmine and Brego away.

"Follow me" Gimli told us and the crowd parted allowing us through.

"You're late, you look terrible" Legolas tells Aragorn when he appears in front of us. He gives Aragorn the necklace Arwen gave him. Aragorn thanks him for it and steps to the side so Legolas could see me. When he did he hugged me straight away not letting go. Aragorn and Gimli went on ahead so we could be alone for a minute.

"I thought I had lost you" he tells me in elvish.

"You'll never lose me, but we must go see the king with the others. Aragorn has important news you should hear as well" I tell him. "I promise we will talk later" I say as he lead me to where the king was.

"A great host you say" King Theoden says as Legolas and I enter the room Storm by my side.

"All of Isenguard empty" I tell him.

"10 thousand at least" Aragorn says agreeing with me.

"Let them come no one has ever breached these walls" Theoden said. "We'll defend the keep even if we are alone" he stated.

"You are not alone Theoden, send out a call for aid" I tell him.

"To who the dwarves or elves? None will answer we are alone" he declared.

"Gondor will answer" Aragorn tells him.

"No they won't" Theoden told him and then started giving orders to prepare for battle. The orcs would be here at sun down. He was having all the women (not including me) and children put into the caves. While all the men young and old were to fight. I went to clean up while the other three went to get a look at the troops.

"Then I shall die as one of them!" I heard Aragorn yell at someone as I went into the armory. He stormed out and I saw Gimli placing a hand on Legolas's shoulder. Gimli told him to leave Aragorn alone for awhile.

"Why was Aragorn so angry?" I ask stepping over to them.

"I said something I shouldn't have" Legolas told me sounding ashamed of himself.

"Apologize to him in a few minutes, right now finish getting ready for battle" I tell him.

"I just had an idea" Gimli states as I found a leather vest to put on. Legolas and I turned to him to hear the idea. "Why don't the three of us have a little competition?" he asks. "Whoever kills the most orcs wins" he stated.

"I'm in" I say and Legolas also agrees to it. He and I then went to find Aragorn. Leaning against a wall I watch Legolas apologize to Aragorn. Gimli appeared and told them something about chain-meal he was trying on. Which makes them all chuckle. When there was the sound of an elf horn near the gate. We all ran towards it and saw that it was Haldir with his forces from Lothlorien.

He said he was here to help us fight and I took him to where he could place his troops. From the corner of my eye I saw Eowyn trying to get Aragorn to let her fight. But from the look on her face he had refused and she went back to the caves. I stood by Legolas and Gimli as it started to rain. Storm was in the cave to help protect the women and children. Jasmine was with all the other horses.

The orcs soon appeared and we prepared to fire our arrows. When Aragorn gave the word we all released our arrows. I continued to do so as Gimli asked if we had hit anything. So far I had killed 21 orcs as the ladders appeared. "2" Gimli called as he chopped orcs with his axe killing them.

"19" Legolas called back to him as he continued using his arrows.

"You're slow boys I am on 26" I tell them taking out my twin blades. We all continued fighting until the wall was blown apart. As Legolas and I failed to kill the orc carrying a torch. I transformed quickly and hover in the air before shooting more arrows. I didn't care if everyone knew my secret and just continued to fight.

Aragorn and Gimli went to buy us more time as I continued to fight at Legolas's side. He sent a rope down to the others as I covered for them shooting down orcs. As we headed towards the keep I saw Haldir die. Legolas dragged me to the keep as soldiers dragged a protesting Gimli.

By now I was human again as Legolas helped to barricade the door. When I heard we were reading out I mounted Jasmine. We rode out following the others as Gimli blow a horn and the sun was raising.

Just as we began to fight Gandalf appeared with Eomer and the Rohirrim. They joined the fight and we won easily. The remaining orcs fled into the trees near by only to be killed by ents. I was glad to see they finally joined the fight against evil.

I found Gimli and Legolas telling each other their scores. "Looks like I win boys" I say after hearing their scores of 43. "I killed 56 orcs, and  2 trolls" I tell them. They looked at me shocked and I ask "what do I get for winning?"

"My unending respect" Gimli tells me.

"And this from me" Legolas says and kisses my cheek tenderly making me blush. Gandalf then told us we were going to Isenguard. I mounted Jasmine as Storm appeared and greeted us happily. I rode side by side with Legolas and Gimli's horse as we followed Gandalf. Eomer, Aragorn and Theoden some of his men also came along.
