Chapter-3: Delegation

Capital City of the Kingdom of Louria (Jin-Hark):

In the view is the Lourian capital, Jin-Hark. It was on fire as set by heavy fighting between Lourian Imperial Units and Rebelling troops, a coup-d'etat is currently undergoing, and the outcome for the Lourian monarchy is bleak at best, as rebel troops outnumber the loyal troops.

In the Royal Palace is where the fighting is the heaviest as rebel forces storm the palace to capture and most likely execute King Hark. But unbeknownst to them King Hark has already fled the capital city via an underground tunnel that leads him to the northern port where he escaped via ships to seek refuge in Maihark.

Meanwhile...

After learning that king hark fled, radicals within the revolution immediately usurped the power from the moderates and declared before the Lourian people.

"ON THIS DAY AND TIME WE SHALL ESTABLISH THE LOURIAN STATE UNDER THE REVOLUTIONARY GOVERNMENT, WE SHALL SPREAD OUR LIBERTIES AND UNITE THE RODENIUS CONTINENT!!! FOR THAT WE SHALL CONQUER QUA-TOYNE AND QUILA FOR THEIR RESOURCES AND THE EXTERMINATION OF DEMI-HUMANS!!!"

As that happens Louria's Five hundred thirty thousand men revolutionary army began to amass in two fronts, two hundred sixty five thousand for each country (Qua-Toyne and Quila) on the former throne room now lies a war council of the revolutionary government's marshalls and top military commanders.

"Sir, message from Generals Pandor and Adem in the northern army, reports that they are ready to launch the invasion into Qua-Toyone and attack the city of Gim." Reported one officer.

"The same goes for General Calend in the southern army. They are ready to begin the attack on Quila and secure its oil rich areas." Reported another.

"Mhm, good. Everything is going according to plan, we shall launch the invasion in 10 days, we shall attain their rich resources and to finally unify the rodenius continent and get rid of those dirty and those lowly demi-humans." Said Romelde, the Lourian radical who holds the most power in the revolutionary government with a sinister smile.

Meanwhile...

Flower Garden [Port City of Maihark]

"Gentlemen of our delegation team to the nation of Friesholan, you are all specialists and experts from your respective ministries." The Qua-Toyonese PM started then continued. "So I hereby give each and everyone of you full authority." He continued.

"Such that our trade and diplomatic relationship with this new found relationship with this new foreign nation may become the backbone of our country's strength in the whole of the Rodenius continent." The PM continued his speech.

Outside of the Garden:

"For our trip to the Friesholanese mainland we first need to go to the airfield we constructed just outside of Maihark." Said Williamson as a convoy of black SUV's arrived to pick them up and take them to the airfield.

"What impressive line of cars you have there Mr. Williamson, I'm quite fascinated by these models." Said the Minister of Transportation.

"Thank you sir, these are just merely glorified cars that my country produces domestically, once we get to the Friesholanese mainland then we may discuss export of said vehicles and other modes of transportation." Said Williamson with a smile.

As the convoy stopped in front of them some of the occupants dismounted and started to load the belongings and baggage of the ministers in the compartments of each SUV's they'll be riding in, after a few minutes of roundabout. The men finally finished loading the baggage, Williamson then looked at the group and said.

"Please board the vehicles gentlemen, they'll take us to Radford AFB outside Maihark." Williamson said as each of them boarded the SUV's.

With the Qua-Toyne delegation boarded, the SUV's hastily left for the airfield.

Radford AFB [Outside of Maihark]

After a car ride of at least 15 minutes they finally arrived at the base's entrance and after a quick identification check by the base Security Forces at the front gate the convoy of cars now proceeded to the base tarmac where a government plane was waiting for them.

"Ugh... Do we really have to travel by air? I heard planes have the tendency to be narrow and tight and extremely uncomfortable, not to mention the fact that if one of the equipment fails there's a chance the thing might crash into the sea." Said the Foreign Minister as he paused and looked at a C-141 in its climb at the other end of the airfield.

"From what I heard this 'plane' will take us to their mainland in a matter of at least one and half hours." The foreign minister started. "but I doubt the authenticity of the report I was provided with." He said as the convoy reaches the airplane ramp where a Friesholanese government plane is waiting for them.

"You know foreign minister, I also have my doubts, but it is the country that owned the large aircraft that flew through Maihark the other day and the large vessels that docked here until a day ago." Said the assigned Qua-Toyonese diplomat to Friesholan.

But, as soon as he said those words, the convoy came to a halt and Williamson then announced. "Gentlemen! That will be our airplane." Williamson said with enthusiasm, pointing at the parked Friesholan transport plane.

"Whoa!" Exclaimed one of the delegates as the rest of the group were awestruck at the size of the aircraft.

"That's one huge plane!" Exclaimed the foreign minister as he gazed at the long fuselage.

"I think this aircraft is larger than the large aircraft that entered Maihark airspace!" The assigned ambassador to Friesholan said in surprise.

"Shall we board the plane then?" Said Williamson as he gestures to the plane in question.

"Oh, by the way, Mr. Williamson, as I can see, this aircraft has no propellers like any of our imported models, how does this aircraft even fly?" Asked the minister of transportation, "since I don't see any propellers on this model." He added.

"Well, you see, this aircraft model is propelled by a turbofan engine." Williamson said as he pointed at one of the engines at the same time a representative of the Friesholan Air Force dressed in the usual FAF pilot jumpsuit came to greet them.

"Ah! Colonel Adler, please explain to the delegates how the aircraft engines work." He said as the Air Force colonel gave the delegates a crisp salute.

"Of course sir." Colonel Adler replied then began, "the Boeing C-32A is a military derivative of the Boeing 757-200 and is powered by two Pratt and Whitney PW2000-40 turbofan engines able to generate 40,100 lbf of thrust each. Giving the aircraft the maximum speed of 526 knots (974 km/h, 605 mp/h) at the altitude of 39,000 ft and able to travel to the range of 5,650 nautical miles (10,460 km)." Adler said as he explained the characteristics of his plane.

"Uhm excuse me, Colonel. But how do these 'turbofan' engines work?" Said the minister for transportation.

"The incoming air is captured by the engine inlets. Some of the incoming air passes through the fan and continues on into the core compressor and then the burner, where it is mixed with fuel and combustion occurs. The hot exhaust passes through the core and fan turbines and then out the nozzle in the back." Adler explained.

"Very interesting..." Said the Minister for transportation not really knowing the concept of how jet engines really work.

"Now gentlemen, let's not waste more time lollygagging here and please board the plane. We have a schedule to keep." Williamson said as he gestures to the air stairs leading to the plane.

[Meanwhile in the cockpit of the C-32A]:

"Last bit on the pre-flight checklist." Said the captain to the First Officer.

"Inputting assigned squawk/transponder code, six-one-zero-four." Said the First Officer.

With the transponder code inputted the captain now decided to contact ground control.

"Good morning Radford ground. This is Flight-212." Said the captain.

"Flight-212, Radford Ground . Go ahead." Said the ground controller.

"Requesting pushback and engine start up." Said the captain over the radio.

"Flight-212, you are cleared for pushback and engine start up, Flight-212." Came the reply.

"Affirmative, cleared for pushback and start up." The captain read back.

"Flight-212 call me back once ready for taxi instructions." Instructed the ground controller.

"Copy that Radford ground." Said the captain.

After about two and a half minutes after the pushback and the flight crew now ready to take taxi instructions.

"Radford Ground, Flight-212. Ready for taxi to the active runway." The captain said over the radio.

"Flight-212, runway zero-three, taxi via taxiway Echo then to taxiway Foxtrot." Instructed the ground controller.

"Runway zero three, via Echo and Foxtrot. Flight-212." Replied the captain

"Read back is correct, thank you, switch over to Radford tower at 126.3." Said the ground controlman over the radio.

"Copy that, switching to 126.3, take care." Said the captain.

Switching to the next radio frequency the crew continued their taxi to the active runway while another Air Force C-141 Starlifter was designated as number 2 behind them as their plane was now short of the runway.

"Good morning Radford tower, this is Flight-212 short of runway zero three."

"Flight-212, this is Radford tower good morning, line up and wait runway zero three." Came Radford tower over the tower.

"Tower, can we get a weather check before you give us take off clearance for Flight-212." Said the captain.

"Flight-212, wind 180 at 12-24." Said the tower controller.

"Copy that." Replied the captain.

"Flight-212, runway zero three you are cleared for takeoff, and make it quick. I have traffic on a 6 km (4 mile) final approach." Said the tower controller.

"Cleared for takeoff, runway zero three, Flight-212." Replied the captain as he started to push the throttles forward and increase engine power and begin their takeoff roll.

About a few hundred meters now on the runway and the plane in a rapid rate of acceleration they began to approach suitable takeoff speed.

"140 knots (260 k/mh or 160 m/ph)" Called the first officer.

"V1." Began the captain before continuing "Rotate." He said as he pulled back on the yoke and the plane began its ascent.

"Positive rate of climb, gear up." Said the captain to the first officer as the man pulled the lever and the airplane gears began to retract.

"Flight-212, contact Radford departure 118.3." Said the tower controller.

"Departure at 118.3, Flight-212, thanks." Replied the first officer as they continued their positive rate of climb and now approaching 4,000 feet..

"Departure, Flight-212 at 4,000 ft." Began the first officer calling in the departure frequency.

"Flight-212, Radford departure I see you on radar contact, climb and maintain one zero ten thousand." Instructed the voice.

A/N: In aviation language "One zero ten thousand" would mean 10,000 ft, just something for those who aren't familiar with the terminology I'm using.

"Flight-212, contact Alderra center at 135.91, I'll hand you over to them once you leave my airspace." Added Departure control.

"Copy that, center at 135.91." Replied the first officer as they continued their climb and soon left the airspace controlled by the controllers in Radford AFB.

"Alderra center good morning, Flight-212, 10,000 out of Radford." Said the first officer.

"Flight-212 good morning, climb and maintain Flight Level (FL) three eight five (38,500 feet)." Said the voice on the other end.

"Level 385, Flight-212." Replied the first officer as the captain begins the climb to their designated cruising altitude.

As the plane climbs and reaches its cruising altitude and levels off, the seat belt sign is turned off and the people in the cabin can now move about the aircraft. The flight took about an hour and 30 minutes before it reached Friesholanese air space, where the flight continued on to Glastan International airport in the southwest of the state of Nilsand where the flight would terminate.

As the plane landed in Glastan International airport the group of envoys from Qua-Toyne were taken by a heavily guarded convoy of SUV's and taken to Jinlant railway terminal, where they will board a chartered train which will take them straight to the heart of the capital.

"Gentlemen welcome to the nation of Friesholan, for now we will be taken to Jinlant Railway Terminal where a train which will take us to the capital is waiting for us." Said Williamson as he gestured at the cars and a line of Secret Security Service are facing the opposite direction.

As the cars arrived in Jinlant terminal, they were hurriedly escorted to platform 10, the farthest and most secluded platform in the terminal which is usually used by VIP's.

"Traveling by rail, ugh it will take us at least a couple hours to get there." Whined the minister for foreign affairs.

"Oh don't worry about Minister, like that passenger airplane we rode in a while ago, they might have some form of rail transportation far superior from our steam locomotives." reassured the minister for transportation.

As the group came into sight of the train that will take them to the capital the minister of transportation upon noticing the strange looking train waiting for them shouted in surprise as he had never seen anything like this locomotive in his life.'

"OH!!!! What is that Mr. Williamson?! What kind of locomotive is that!?" The minister for transportation squealed and asked Williamson like an overexcited kid just seeing something cool for the first time...

"That is our train, please get on board everyone we shall be departing in 10 minutes." Said Williamson with a smile.

Time Skip... On the train, first class coach.

As the train was traveling at speed down the line, on the first class coach the envoys and Williamson could be seen seated together and were chatting with one another but suddenly one of Williamson's aides arrived with a phone in hand.

"Sir, Secretary Glinkcle is on the phone and he said he wants to talk with you." Said the woman.

"Oh, excuse me gentlemen. I need to take this call, it seems my boss wants to talk with me." Williamson said as he stood up and went to a more private section of the train car.

"A message is it? Please Mr. Williamson, do take your time if it's of importance." Said the Qua-Toyonese foreign minister as he gestured for Williamson to excuse himself.

With Williamson gone, the Foreign Minister and the Ambassador to Friesholan now spoke with each other concerning what they can get in trade for the grain export they'll be supplying their new found partner.

"Who would've thought that this nation's priority is only to seek agricultural products and establish friendly relations with us." Said the Foreign minister with a smile to his colleague.

"This country is very fortunate, especially since they came from another world. Maybe they've been blessed by the Gods." Replied the foreign minister as he looked out of the window only to see grass plains and the usual countryside house in the distance.

"Just between the two of us Yancey, it's because our country too has been blessed by the Goddess of land." The Ambassador whispered to the Foreign Minister.

"I know right, to have neither crop eating insects, or blight to our grain producing areas, we've been given opportunities to be the main source of food in the Rodenius continent." The foreign minister said as he put his hand on his chin.

"Though it is disheartening to hear that we cannot import the technology they have." Said the ambassador with a sad expression plastered in his face.

"That is true, we do want the capability to stop Louria's radical revolutionary Government, it's been only a few days since their take over, and King Hark was last seen fleeing to Gim. How about we enter a military alliance with Friesholan?" Asked the foreign minister.

"Concerning the military alliance part, I think if we talk with the right people there and ask Mr. Williamson about it, we might be able to enter one with them, at least on the grounds of defense." Suggested the Qua-Toyonese man, as he holds the cup of juice they've been served at the start of the trip.

"Well it will be impossible for us to export their so called 'Fighter Jets' but are able to export small arms and 'older equipment' they have in storage, adding the fact they are willing to invest in our transportation and energy sector." The Ambassador said as he leaned into his chair thinking and then continuing.

"We could negotiate for us to import 'more modern' road vehicles and this specific or similar locomotive to Qua-Toyne." He said as he finished his thought.

"So it would seem this is the case for us, let's quickly put these things to the list of our delegation search." Said the foreign minister as he pulled out the master list of their delegation search list.

"Of course, both nations should be able to greatly benefit from this deal." The ambassador said as he pulled out a pen that he got from Williamson as a gift.

Meanwhile...

[Government District of Frampton]: Presidential palace, briefing room #1

In the briefing room are the chiefs of all branches of Friesholan's military, and among them the President, William Hodges, the Vice President Dianne Christiansen, the secretary of state Anthony Glinckle, the head of the Department of National Security (DNS)–whose agency is also responsible for the Friesholanese Coast Guard that protects Friesholan's maritime border, maritime economy, and it's maritime environment, and responsible for search and rescue (SAR) operations within its territorial waters–and the respective representatives of the nation's 2 main intelligence agencies.

"Gentlemen, we don't have all day to talk about these reports, please tell them as directly as possible and I'll give out orders and directives later down the chain, I have to meet up with Qua-Toyonese delegates as soon as they arrive in Frampton RR terminal." Hodges said to the group of people.

The first to stand are two military men, one from the Friesholanese Navy, a man with the rank of captain, wearing the navy's black and white uniform. His stature was pretty lanky for a guy who's in the naval service but this could also mean he's from the Intel community within the branch of service, the second an Air Force officer with the rank of Colonel–a definitive term that the man is also a part of the Intel community of the Air Force, his stature was average, though because of his pair of glasses, he gives off this weird vibe of a stalker of sorts.

"These are the images sent to us by the photo reconnaissance done by our P-3 Orions and RC-135's." Said the representative from the Navy.

"We have been able to confirm that most of Qua-Toyne's 'westlands' are full of grain producing areas and farm land." Added the Air Force Colonel as images of the said place came up in the projector.

"We also have an on-site team of experts to study the plants in the continent; from what I've seen from the report of our teams there, the plant species present on Qua-Toyne are no different as to what we have seen on Earth." Said a representative reporting on behalf of the Department of Agriculture as an image of a Qua-Toyone grain came up on screen, "we need some time to study these edible plants which grow on the Rodenius continent." The representative added as he sat down with the President nodding in response as the next person to report stood up.

"Regarding the reports from the Kingdom of Quila.." Said a woman from the Department of Energy began as the slide shifted to that of an image of an oil drill in a desert environment, "we have visual confirmation from photo reconnaissance flights and from our keyhole satellites in orbit that Quila has, in fact, oil within their border. We have also confirmed that there are oil wells in the area." The secretary of energy finished.

"An oil well you say? The Rodenius continent has yet to reach the 20th century, why is there a structure of that nature present?" Said the Chief of the Army as he crossed his arms.

As the room was whispering at the possible answer the Commandant of the Friesholanese Marine Corps raised his hand and said what he suspected of a possibility of a nation that is already in the 20th century.

Noticing the CMC raised his hand the President pulled up a gesture that basically tells everyone in the room to be quiet. "Yes, what's in your mind, General Gentry?" Hodges said to the man with a rough marine build even though he's in his fifties.

"There is a possibility that there is already a country in this world that is at least in the 20th century." Said General Gentry.

With the room going quiet as the man in a Marine khaki-green service dress uniform stood up from his seat and said.

"If there is really a country in the 20th century then it will be dangerous to our national security, is that what you have in mind General?" Asked Hodges to Gentry with a concerned face.

"Yes sir. That is why I and the rest of the joint chiefs suggest that our armed forces be put on high alert. We do not know if there is a rogue or hostile country out there that will attack us or start a war with us. Or, in a worse case scenario, invade the mainland and the Autonomous region of Alderra." Gentry said as he sat back down with his eyes closed, thinking of a possible situation where they have to fight for it to maintain the nation's peace and it's security.

The room was left in silence as the CMC said those words, the silence however was broken by the chairman of the joint chiefs. General Dwight D. McAlister. The Chief of the Army, a 50 year old man who has a wide build owing to his past as a Special Forces Operative when he joined the Friesholan Army in his younger years and rose the ranks through merit and personal achievements and spoke, "Well, either way Mr. President, our main priority right now is the defense of our homeland and securing our source of resources, especially the likes of the kingdom Quila and Qua-Toyne."

After General McAlister spoke, a man in a business suit with a blue tie raised his hand. The man had a very lanky build and had a clean shaved face, his height was average meaning he was around 5 feet and 9 inches tall, however, unlike the rest of the civilian staff members in the room, the man had an I.D badge on his left chest that had the seal and text that read: 'Friesholan National Intelligence Agency'.

"Yes?" Asked the President, giving the intelligence official the floor to speak.

"I believe you should see this, Mr. President." He said as he went to the project and slid a satellite imagery of the border between Qua-Toyone, Quila and Louria. It is apparent that from the movement of troops in the region, Louria's new radical revolutionary government is preparing for an invasion of its neighbor.

"This is from the western borders between the Kingdom of Quila and the Kingdom of Louria. As we can see from the satellite imagery here, Louria's army is amassing troops at the border, likely for a ground invasion." Said the intelligence official, next showed is an image of the western border of Qua-Toyone and Louria with pretty much the same image.

"What about Louria's Navy? I heard it's the most powerful one in the region, especially with their two operational Battleships and a single Battlecruiser." Asked Hodges to the spook.

"We have received reports from Qua-Toyne that the majority of Louria's navy didn't participate in the coup and their capital ships are currently enroute to Maihark for refuge. Only a small number of lighter warships were captured by revolutionary forces."

"Either way their army is the largest in the continent right?" Asked President Hodges.

"Yes sir according to intelligence reports from Qua-Toyne, prior to the coup Louria posses a standing army that numbers around 600,000 personnel split up into three warfare branches though the actual number might be smaller due to the feudal society that Louria has and not to mention their military doesn't have a centralized command and are reliant on troop allocations per lord of each of their territories." Said General McAlister.

"Then how much manpower can we allocate to defend our interest in both Qua-Toyne and Quila?" Questioned Hodges to McAlister.

"The Marine Corps is ready to send one division numbering around fifteen thousand personnel reinforced with ground vehicles such as M1A1 tanks, LAV-25's, M110 Self Propelled Howitzers, M198 field howitzers, and the like." General Gentry offered.

"As for the Army we are ready to send in the Fifty-first Armored Infantry Regiment along with the Third Armored Regiment of the First Armored Division, and advance deploy the Eighteenth Airborne Division" General McAlister replied to Hodges inquiry.

"The Navy is ready to allocate ships and planes in support of ground operations; currently, Carrier Strike Group 4 is on station in Maihark, we can send Carrier Strike Group 2 centered around one of our 'supercarriers' to Quila's waters in support of Marine ground elements." Admiral Wright said.

"The Air Force is able to airlift personnel and equipment to Radford AFB in Qua-Toyne and the airfield we constructed outside of Quila's capital." General Harris began, "though the Navy can transport more vehicles and personnel with Military Sealift Command, but the Air Force can deploy aircraft from Radford AFB for strike missions against Lourian targets."

Taking this opportunity to speak, Admiral Wright took it and added his remark after General Harris,"We have Cape Lambert class vehicle carriers and Amphibious Assault Ships on standby and ready to transport men and material."

Giving a moment of thought, President Hodges pondered on the idea of a military intervention should diplomacy fail. Currently the armed forces only have CSG 4 and a few hundred Air Force personnel in the Rodenius continent. But with conviction he will defend what is right in his beliefs.

"Send an ultimatum to the Lourian revolutionary government, stand down their military forces or face military intervention." Ordered President Hodges to Secretary of State Glinckle before finishing with a remark to Admiral Wright, "Redeploy Carrier Strike Group 2 to Quila's waters."

"Yes sir, I will talk with Vice Admiral Jones regarding the redeployment of his CSG." Admiral Wright replied.

"Yes sir, I'll let the Qua-Toyonese and Quila via Qua-Toyone once diplomatic channels are ready." Replied Secretary of State Glinckle.

"Let them know we will be supporting them in the face of Lourian aggression, this meeting is adjourned." He said as he stood up and left the room with the occupants standing up in unison as they saw off the president.

Some time later...

[Government District of Frampton]

As the high speed train stopped in its designated platform a group of guards and state department staff along with President Hodges himself to welcome the delegation were waiting for the arrival of Qua-Toynes envoys to the Federal Republic of Friesholan.

They were immediately taken to the state guest house, the former crown prince's palace from the country's long passed monarchy. The room is detailed with the highest quality of furniture and design with 17th century paintings and other works of art littering the building.

The envoys and representatives of the state department

"My country prior to being teleported to the new world. On a yearly basis imports forty five million tons of food, of course this is aggregated to many different countries in the west and some in our former Asian partners." Said Williamson to the delegates before he continued.

"Now given we ourselves can produce this amount of food as well with our own crops in the 'great plains' but that would need a lot of time and we are caught in a wall. So for us to break the deadlock of the teleportation crisis." He said as he fixed his eyeglasses and continued, "We are ready and are willing to prepare equal or corresponding remunerations in return." He said finishing it off.

"So it seems, to be truthful I am puzzled with the assorted variety of commodities such as coffee beans," He said scratching his neck, as the Qua-Toyonese are not familiar with the foodstuffs as Earth's.

He then continued speaking, "There are items in this list that I have not heard of as well but if we exclude them or if a substitute product is provided." He said as he put down the document and proclaimed with an enthusiastic tone, "Our country alone should be able to provide forty five million tons!"

This proclamation from the Qua-Toyonese diplomat shocked the Friesholanese representatives as a bold proclamation is made by this technologically inferior nation. However the diplomat cleared his throat which resets everyone in the room to their poker face again, as he continued.

"However, for this much amount Qua-Toyone does not possess the high grade and efficient equipment to transport food supplies on a regular scheduled basis." He said with a grim expression on his face.

"Of course, we understand your position, so we proposed to you a plan of action that we've been doing for decades now and this will be beneficial and fortunate for both nations." Replied Williamson with a smile.

"Beneficial and fortunate, how?" Said the diplomat and foreign minister in unison.

With a smile Williamson drops the bombshell on the Qua-Toyonese representatives, "Our country proposes a plan for economic and industrial development assistance packages. Which will fund and help the expansion of harbor infrastructure and dedicated rail lines to Qua-Toyone's grain producing area." And with a smug smile he continued, "How about it?"

With that bombshell dropped the Qua-Toyonese they all reacted with glee and some clapped in their hands of hearing, a more advanced nation is willing to aid them in improving their infrastructure for the benefit of the two parties involved instead of an unequal agreement much like what happened to the weaker states in the Philades continent where almost if not all are client states to the warmongering Parpaldian Empire.

The meeting went on for another two hours, with both representatives detailing the needs of each other and expressing their national interest and the wish of beneficial prosperity. In the last 30 minutes of the talks, both parties signed documents establishing diplomatic ties with both nations.

With this cemented Friesholan has avoided the worst in the teleportation crisis, and it's stagnating economy has once again returned to life as new goods previously only available to Earth became the leading exports of the nation. In return it imported extra agricultural produce from the Principality of Qua-Toyone to stem it's own supply of food for it's population and through channels via Qua-Toyone obtained oil drilling rights in the Kingdom of Quila.

And with that, relations with the two countries improved exponentially. The exchange in culture boomed in both countries. It was all going as planned, and it seems that prosperity is in hand for both nations.

[Capital City of Qua-Toyone]: Lotus Building (Private Room)

In this private room in the capital building of Qua-Toyone is the important ministers and staff of the government of the principality of Qua-Toyone. They are currently holding an emergency council meeting discussing the possibility that Louria's radical government will invade Qua-Toyne via the western border. Along the same case as Quila.

"Louria has been amassing troops at our and Quila's border." Said the Minister of War with a grim expression on his face as laid out in front of them is a map of the upcoming front with the Lourian revolutionary army.

"What can we do, our army is smaller, our navy is smaller compared to the revolutionary navy, and the loyalist navy is in refuge in our ports?" Said the foreign minister as he expresses his grave concern for the situation.

"How about concessions? Surely they can make for some, our country is in no position to wage a long and grueling conflict." Suggested the minister for finance as he thought of the impact in the country's economy if a war were to happen.

"Prime Minister, we ask for your guidance in this grave situation!" Said another as the entire room looked at the elf man in question who only stood up from his seat and went to Yagou. The top diplomat to Friesholan.

"There's nothing else I can do on my part, however we have an option for you, I look forward to your negotiation ability to secure our future." The Prime Minister said as he looked at the young man now turned top diplomat.

Principality of Qua-Toyone [Embassy of the Federal Republic of Friesholan]:

In the embassy building, the shine is brightly shining through the glass that lets sunlight flow into the corridors and office windows, while the birds on the trees happily sing their songs and chirp in a relaxing tune. Here we can see Ambassador Williamson enjoy his time as he admires the beautiful scenery outside of his office window.

When suddenly a knock was heard from his door, "Sir Williamson this is Barbara." With Williamson responding with a curt. "Come in." to which his secretary obeyed and entered the office.

Williamson was puzzled, normally his secretary wouldn't come into his office at this time as there was nothing scheduled for the day except their office duties which was on the side of mundane, as to he questioned the woman in front of him, "What's the matter Barbara?"

The middle aged woman then recomposed herself and spoke, "Sir Qua-Toyone's diplomat, sir Yagou request an urgent and is waiting in the reception room." Said the woman as she stepped out the door in advance to lead Williamson to where Yagou was waiting.

"Please lead the way." He said to his secretary who then nodded and started to walk to the reception room with Williamson in tow.

After about 4 minutes of walking within the embassy building, they finally arrived at the reception room's doors, with his secretary opening the door for the ambassador. Then shutting it once Williamson is in, as this meeting is only for the two men inside.

After greeting each other with handshakes and both are now seated and are facing each other. Williamson then began, "You seem to have urgent business with me Mr. Yagou, what seems to be the issue?" Williamson asked.

Being direct to the point, Yagou replied, " Of course, I'll be frank. If you have heard from the intel report we have shared with your country, our neighboring country the Kingdom of Louria has experienced a rebellion. And the monarchy and the moderate members of the rebellion are either dead, missing, held in captivity, or fled to safer places." He said as he gulps and continued, "Have begun to mobilize it's army and navy for a possible two pronged invasion of Qua-Toyone and Quila, and this country endangers several of our western cities such as Gim plus parts of the grain producing areas not to mention Quila's western oil fields. Soon this will turn into a full blown war." He said with a pained expression.

"Louria's army, now turned revolutionary army, is the strongest in the continent, we may have to surrender some cities and as we don't have the numbers to counter an invasion, only stall them for time." He said with an expression of a man nearly in tears.

"Have you tried diplomatic channels?" Asked Williamson.

"Yes, and frankly speaking. They ignored the concession proposals we suggested and are bent on invading." He said, looking Williamson in the eye.

Yagou then looked out the window and saw a bird fly in the distance, and then he remembered the time he had in Friesholan where he was shown the country's military capability, as reported by intelligence and what he sees on their interviews with their Friesholanese counterparts.

"Mr. Williamson, please send troops!" He said, clasping Williamsons shoulders as he pleaded for support, "We need that power, the power of your 'Iron Dragons' we need the help we can get from your nation."

"Military intervention huh, well I guess you are in luck my friend." Williamson said with a comforting smile.

"Huh?" Yagou asked, clearly puzzled to Williamsons reaction.

Williamson fixed his eyeglasses and began, "I was instructed by my country's leader to convey this message to you, 'If diplomacy fails, we shall use our stick in support of Qua-Toyone and Quila, to uphold their national integrity and statehood, and to protect their people. Along with our interest in the continent' is what he said to me." He said with a smile looking back at Yagou.
