One year after the events to Arkham Knight.

It was a quiet night in Bludhaven for Dick Grayson, former Robin, and current Nightwing. He was out on patrol in his Nightwing suit, and the city was blanketed with rain. The rain felt refreshing for Dick. Nothing exciting was happening for Dick on this particular night. Yeah, he stopped a mugging or two, but other than that, it was pretty quiet. The silence and the rain gave Dick time to think. He thought of his old team the Teen Titans, his former love Starfire who left Earth. He remembered when Bruce told him of the Knightfall Protocol. He sighed, thinking of the day it was activated. Today was the one-year anniversary of that day. Suddenly, he heard a noise.

"You know," said Nightwing, "not many people can just sneak up on me like that." He turned around, and saw Tim Drake, the current Robin. Tim was in his Robin suit. He jokingly raised his hands and smirked, saying, "alright, ya caught me." Dick smiled and hugged his surrogate brother. "Good to see you Tim," he said as he chuckled, "how's your marriage with Babs?" Tim shrugged and said, "things are great. We're trying to conceive a child." Dick nodded and said, "hey, I'm sure you two will get there. We still on for Sunday dinner?"

"Damn right we are," said Tim, "one of the reasons I came over is because we need you to come back to Gotham." Dick raised an eyebrow and asked, "how come?" Tim sighed and said, "Barbara got a notification. Some sort of video from Bruce. The message explicitly stated you should be the one to hear it." Dick nodded and said, "oh. Okay. Where should we go to listen to this video?" Tim said, "Wayne Enterprises. Bruce gave instructions to Barbara regarding something in one of his secret Bat Lairs." Dick nodded and said, "Alright, let's go." Nightwing and Robin then got on their motorcycles and drove out of Bludhaven, headed to Gotham.
