Job Interview

It was the day of Harley's interview as a counselor for Wolfman Middle School. For this interview, Harley decided to dress nicely. She wore a sky blue buttoned down blouse, a white tie, a white overcoat with a white skirt to match, tan pantyhose, and white heels. Her blonde hair was wrapped into a bun. She looked like how she used to back when she was Dr. Harleen Quinzel. It felt nice, looking professional like this. She patiently waited inside the middle school office. She still remembered Dick kindly wishing her good luck on this interview, which made Harley feel a little bit more secure. Five minutes later, the secretary then said, "Principal Parker will see you for your interview, Miss Quinzel. His office is at the last door on your right." Harley stood up and said, "Thank you." She then quietly went to the principal's office, and went inside.

Principal Scott Parker looked to be a man in his mid-50's. He looked like Jeff Goldblum to Harley. "Ah, you must be Harleen Quinzel. Hello, I'm Scott Parker, the principal of this middle school," he said, his voice sounding like Jeff Goldblum also. He stood up, kindly offering his hand in a handshake. Harley then shook his hand, but not too hard so as not to hurt the principal. "Good grip," commented the principal, "do take a seat." Harley nodded and sat down, saying, "it's nice to meet you as well Mr. Parker." Mr. Parker looked at Harley's application and resume and said, "Well now that we've gotten acquainted, let's get down to business. I must say, I am indeed impressed that you were the top of your class in Psychology 101. Question, before you worked at Arkham, where else did you work?" Harley pondered to remember where she first worked. When the memories came back she then said, "I was a psychiatric evaluator at Blackgate Prison. But I've always wanted to help people who've been struggling with their mental illnesses and disabilities for a long time."

"What makes you believe you're qualified for this job at hand?" Mr. Parker asked. "Well, I am quite the expert in psychology," said Harley, "and I believe I could help the children here who are struggling with their own identities. I understand how some mental disabilities such as autism work. I guess helping everyone here might help me redeem myself." Mr. Parker nodded and said, "I believe in giving people a second chance. I've known people who have been disgraced and disowned for circumstances that were far beyond their control. And I have always been there, because my soul told me it would be cruel to give up on them. Some people can't always be saved, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't lose hope. Despite everything you've done as Harley Quinn, I believe I can give you a second chance, Miss Quinzel." For the next hour and a half, Principal Parker asked Harley the basic questions one would ask during an interview. Harley answered the questions to the best of her ability. Little did she know that she did leave a good impression on the kind principal. When the interview ended, Principal Parker said, "Well Miss Quinzel, I will certainly put you under consideration when I choose the final candidates for this job. I should probably contact you soon." Harley hesitated and said, "I, uh...  don't have a cell phone or anything..." Mr. Parker chuckled and said, "oh don't worry, if need be, I'll call your acquaintance Mr. Grayson." Harley shook the principal's hand and said, "thank you for giving me this opportunity, Mister Parker."

A week later, Harley and Dick were inside his home, doing different things. Dick was reading that murder mystery novel, and Harley was taking a shower. As Dick was in the middle of reading his novel, his cell phone rang. Dick put his book down and picked up the phone, and said, "Hello? This is Dick Grayson speaking." The person on the phone was Principal Parker as he said on the phone, "hello Mr. Grayson, this is Principal Parker from Wolfman Middle School. Is Harleen Quinzel available to speak?" Dick looked around and said, "let me find her..." He looked for Harley around his house, and then went to her bedroom. He could hear the shower running. He went to her bathroom and said, "uh, Harley? You there?" Harley squeaked and turned off the water. She peaked her head out of the shower curtain and asked, "y-yeah, Richie?" She was doing her best to hide her naked body. Dick noticed she was blushing. "Principal Parker's on the phone," said Dick, "he wants to speak to you. Don't worry, I'm not looking." He then covered his eyes to assure Harley that he wasn't looking at her body in a way that was perverted. Harley took the phone and said, "hello Mr. Parker. How are you today?" Mr. Parker said on the phone, "I'm doing very well Miss Quinzel, thank you for asking. The reason I'm calling you is because I have considered who will be our counselor. And I am pleased to announce that I have chosen you, Harleen. Congratulations, Miss Quinzel. I am officially hiring you as our school's counselor. You start the job this Monday." Harley excitedly smiled and said, "thank you so much, Mr. Parker! I'll see you Monday." She hung up the phone and gave it back to Dick, excitedly squealing, "I got the job! I got the job!" She excitedly hugged him, forgetting the fact that she was naked. "That's wonderful Harley," said Dick, "congratulations." Harley soon realized she was naked, and blushed even more. "I, uh..." she bashfully stammered. "Hey, no worries," said Dick, "if you want, we can go out for ice cream to celebrate." Harley smiled and said, "Yeah, that would be nice."
