It had been a year since the day Dick had rescued Harley from the Titan Infection. And their love for each other never faltered or died. And much to Harley's relief, she was never abducted or drafted into the Suicide Squad. She enjoyed her job as a counselor at Wolfman Middle School. As for Dick, his career as a hero went swimmingly well. Wally gave him a good word with the Justice League, and they accepted Nightwing into the team. Dick loved fighting with the Justice League. Especially since the team consisted of some of his old Teen Titans members such as Cyborg and Red Arrow. So life was good.

And after many months, Tim and Barbara managed to successfully conceive a baby. Barbara was now pregnant with twins that consisted of a boy and girl. They had a baby shower, and all their friends and family were invited, Dick and Harley included. The guests all made casual conversation. Barbara's belly was the size of a dodgeball as she conversed with Harley. "So yeah, we're going to name the boy after Tim's father," explained Barbara, "and we're going to name the girl Tara." Harley beamed and said, "daw... that's such a beautiful name. If I ever have a girl, I would love to name her Lucy." Suddenly, someone covered Harley's eyes and asked, "guess who?" Harley giggled and said, "someone extremely handsome?" She turned around and saw it was Dick who playfully covered her eyes. "You guessed correctly," teased Dick as Harley gave him a playful kiss.

Much later, it was time for cake. Everyone enjoyed a slice. Harley ate her cake when she found something in her slice of cake. She saw that it was a ring! She picked it up and asked, "what's this doin' in my cake?" Dick smiled and said, "it's for you, Harley." She gave a look of confusion and surprise. "Wait, what?" Harley asked, at a loss for words. Dick held her hand and said, "Harley, you've been the love of my life, and you've touched my heart in a way that's changed my life forever. I love you with all my heart. And so..." Dick went on one knee and asked, "Harley Quinzel... Will you marry me?" Harley was holding back tears as she happily said, "YES! YES! A THOUSAND TIMES YES, I'LL MARRY YOU, DICK GRAYSON!" She put the proposal ring on her ring finger and kissed Dick Grayson on the lips. Everyone clapped, happy for them. Dick and Harley were happy with their lives, and now they could spend the rest of their life together.
