Chapter 1: Cal Kestis
Welcome to the first chapter!! Remember, I OWN NOTHING, except for my OC! Rook is based on someone in real life that has requested to be in this story! Now, let's get this story on the road!
Previously on Nightsister and Jedi Knight in a Different War....
This blue alien, Jake, lets me go, and switches from whatever language he was speaking and turns it to a language I can understand.
"We want to know if you're part of the RDA," he says. I blink my eyes and say,
"What's the RDA?" Jake's ears pin to his head.
"Don't lie to me, you know something." He hisses. I glare at him.
"I don't," I say. I then feel the mark on my shoulder throbbing in pain, and I wince, groaning. The female alien then switches to a language I can understand.
"This mark...." She says, looking at the green vine like mark on my shoulder pulsating with energy. "I shall have it removed immediately." I glance up at her with a snarl.
"Touch that mark, and the woman that gave it to me will burn this entire forest to the ground. She's not someone to be trifled with." Jake looks to the female alien as he places a hand on her shoulder.
"MaJake," she says, switching back to the language that I can barely understand. I then look to BD.
"Can you translate, buddy?" I ask him. BD beeps and trills before scanning the two. I can then hear their voices as if they're speaking English instead of the language they're speaking.
"I wonder who is this woman he speaks of," Jake says. "If she's not someone to be messed with, then we should take more precautions in protecting the clan, Neytiri." Neytiri nods.
"Agreed, MaJake," she says. "But it looks to me like he's telling the truth, despite the fact I don't trust him. He's after all, a Sky Person, a demon." Ah, so that's what she called me earlier. Good to know.
"So we go along with it?" Jake asks. Neytiri nods.
"I guess so, but if he makes one wrong move, I'll kill him myself." I gulp. I've already gotten death threats from Sorc Tormo and his band of Haxion Brood bounty hunters, I don't want them from the natives of this planet. Besides, both Siera and I are already wanted by the Empire. I would hate to bring the war here. Jake then turns to me, his tail flicking.
"Who are you?" He asks. I look up at him.
"Cal. Cal Kestis. And this is BD-1." I gesture to the droid at my side, then Jake walks behind me, but notices my bonds are gone.
"Your bindings..." he says. I nod.
"Never underestimate a droid." Jake nods.
"Can we trust you?" He asks as Neytiri turns to BD.
"I shall gut it in half," she hisses. I reach for my lightsaber hilt, igniting it, the white glow illuminating my face.
"Touch him, and you won't see the light of day," I hiss. "That's my companion droid. Helped me out of a lot of stressful situations. You come after him, you go through me." Neytiri blinks her eyes and exclaims in annoyance. Jake places his hand on her arm then turns back to me.
"Still, that's a very unusual mark on your shoulder," he says. "May I ask where you got it?" I narrow my eyes at him.
"Unless you want me to go into very explicit detail of how I got it, I suggest you keep your mouth shut and let me get back to her. The pain is there for a reason, it means that she's alive, and still kicking." Jake nods.
"We will help you," he says, much to Neytiri's annoyance.
"MaJake," she says. He cuts her off.
"That's enough." He says to her. I nod.
"Seems fair," I say. "Lead the way, Sully." Jake nods, then gestures for me to step forward as I put my lightsaber back on my belt. BD then crawls on my back, and I smile at the droid, then walk past Neytiri, following Jake. However I don't miss the glare she gives me as I follow him.
I just hope that she is alive.
(Cal's POV-High Camp)
My mark glows profusely on my shoulder as I follow Jake and Neytiri. Jake then turns to me.
"You gonna tell me more about that mark, and why it's glowing?" He asks me. I shake my head.
"Forget it," I tell him. "I ain't telling you shit." Jake's tail flicks behind him.
"We're supposed to be trusting each other," he says to me. "Look, I don't care what you do, as long as you don't get me, my mate or my children killed." I roll my eyes.
"That's where we differ, Sully," I tell him. "I have my girl to think about. And my crew. I need to see if they're alive." Jake's tail flicks behind him again, more menacingly than before. I may have pissed him off. All that matters is knowing that my crew is safe. All of a sudden, I see a couple Na'vi warriors walk up to Jake and start speaking to him in their language. Thanks to BD, I know what they're saying.
"This other alien we pulled from the wreckage, do we kill him alongside the demon?" The warrior asks. Jake seems to shake his head.
"No," he says. "We don't. Apparently, he's a friend of the Sky Person." I cross my arms, BD beeping from the ground before he climbs up on my shoulder.
"This alien...." I start. "Is he short, hairy, has a big mouth, four arms and a high caf tolerance, plus a big gambling habit and addiction?" The warrior blinks his eyes at me.
"Yes," he says. "He just challenged one of our own to what you call gambling." I chuckle.
"Greez will do whatever it takes if it has something to do with credits," I tell them. "But I need to get back to the Mantis. It's not only my ship, it's Greez's. He's the pilot." Neytiri hisses at me.
"What makes you think that we can trust you?" She says. I stare her down.
"Lady, I'm armed with a blaster and a lightsaber, if you try to cut me down, I will be the one leaving you for dead for touching me. Or my woman, if she gets here." Jake blinks.
"And who is your woman? She sounds awfully special to you." I glare at him.
"She is," I answer coldly to him. "And I know she's alive, otherwise, my mark wouldn't still be burning and causing me pain. It means that she's still alive, and trying to track me down now." Jake nods.
"Her name?" He asks. I narrow my emerald orbs.
"Like hell I'm gonna give you her name," he says. "She's already been in tough situations, so have I. We don't want anymore, but that's not to be with the Empire still after us."
"The Empire?" Jake asks quizzically, tilting his head. I groan, face palming myself.
This is gonna be a long and weird conversation....
(Outside Bridgehead, near High Camp, Siera's POV)
I'm only trusting Rook because I know he can lead me to the Na'vi, which from what he told me, are the ones that inhabit this planet's surface, and are the natives here. Hopefully, Cal's with them, and he's not dead. Well, if he was dead, then I wouldn't be feeling this pain still thanks to the mark on my shoulder. I'm just happy that he isn't. But I can't wait to see him face to face though. Really.
"I know you're staring," I say to Rook. "It's rude." Rook rolls his eyes.
"It's not that," he says. "It's just I've never seen a mark like that." I hum.
"I know," I say to him. "But it is a reminder that he's still alive." I keep my back to him as we walk, the foliage seeming to part a bit for us.
"So, what is it about this planet that brought humans here?" I ask him. Rook blinks.
"Unobtainium," he says. "That's what brought them here the first time. This second time though is different." I frown.
"Different how?" Rook places his hands on his hips as he looks at me.
"My home planet, Earth, is dying," he replies. "We have no resources left, so it's basically dying out. What's left of humanity where I come from, is what you just saw, not including General Lance, and General Ardmore. Especially not the Col." I nod.
"You mean the blue bastard that tried to kill me?" I ask. He nods his head, crossing his arms. I blink at him sympathetically.
"I'm sorry, about your people," I say. Rook shakes his head.
"Don't apologize," he says. "For now, let's focus. We're almost to the crash site. Also, about that magick.....is there a way it can be taught?" I raise an eyebrow quizzically.
"Why? The last time I shared secrets with someone of our magick, he lied to us for years, and I had to bury him alive on my home planet." Rook blinks his eyes.
"Damn....must've been rough," he says. "So you lost your people too?" I nod.
"Yes. It was.....very hard to move on, but after Cal rescued me and gave me new purpose with my magick, I couldn't just leave his side. He is my Jedi, and I will do whatever it takes to make sure he is safe."
"Yes." He says. Rook then sighs. "Welp, come on, we're ten klicks out." I then look up and shake my head.
"No," I tell him. "We stay. For the night." Rook glares at me, then looks up to see that the sky has darkened. He nods.
"Okay. Fine. We take shelter. I'll get in touch with General Lance, tell him I'll be a little bit behind." I blink.
"On schedule?" I ask him. He nods.
"Yes," he says. At least his voice isn't bitter. I would've burned him for it. I then start a fire with my magick, and Rook watches me even as he puts some of the wood in to kindle the flames. The fire brings out his dark eyes, and it shines well on his face, but even I know for a fact I would rather see him as a brother in the future than as a lover. Besides, I have Cal, my Jedi, my other half, my better half, I just hope that he and the rest of the crew is okay. "And hopefully, we can stop this hopeless shit hole of a mess we've gotten ourselves into with the Na'vi and the RDA." I chuckle.
"You don't trust them, due to the fact that they're the same species as you? The RDA, I mean?" I ask. Rook shakes his head.
"Fuck no, I don't trust them. And if I did, I would've killed you by now instead of me being out here helping you and your....Jedi, was it?" I turn to glare at him and he puts his hands up in mock surrender.
"Sorry," he says. "Didn't mean to hit a sore spot. Is it possible that he's....?" I turn my body fully to him, and without thinking, I put my hand up, my magick flaring to life as I pin him to the wall. Rook groans in pain.
"Okay, okay, shit, lady," he hisses. "Look, I'm sorry-...." I cut him off.
"Here's what's gonna happen, you're gonna keep your mouth shut, and by morning, you're going to lead me to my crew, to Cal, and once I find that he's alive and well, I'll consider sparing your life. Don't. Test. Me. Test me, and I'll cut off your balls and feed them to the fauna of this planet." Rook glares at me, but he knows I'm serious. He nods.
"Noted," he says. I nod and I let him go, dissipating my magick. "Question, what can I do to learn that?" I shake my head.
"No," I say as bluntly as I can. "My magick can't be taught or taken lightly. Let's just get some sleep. You got first watch?" Rook nods, taking his AR and sitting outside the entrance while I lie my head down, closing my eyes.
8 Hours Later
As soon as we get to the crash site, we just look over the wreckage. Rook whistles.
"Damn," he says. "Whoever did this must've been a bad pilot." I glare at him.
"Greez is one of the best in the galaxy, say otherwise, and I'll shove my crystal down your throat." Rook then nods.
"What is it with you and threatening me? I'm on your side!" He says. As soon as we get closer to the crash site, Rook hears something and I turn to him.
"What is it?" I ask. He shushes me.
"You hear that?" He asks.
"No," I tell him. "Have you lost your damn mind?" Rook glares at me.
"Funny, but no, I haven't. I'm definitely hearing something. Can't you hear it?"
"Nope."
"Shit, I can't...." I watch as he clutches the side of his head only for something to be cleared away from the rubble.
"Rook?" I say, stepping forward. I take it, and I realize what it is: Cal's lightsaber. The other end of it anyway.
"You found it!" I say with glee in my voice.
"Found what? What is that?" Rook asks.
"Cal's lightsaber," I answer. "Yes! Fucking hell, I could kiss you!" Rook steps away.
"Please don't, and what the hell is a lightsaber? And why the hell is it humming? It's creepy." I turn to him.
"There's a reason why. Cal told me it's because of the Force-sensitive children. Usually, it's uncommon to find it in adults." Rook nods.
"Okay, it's slowly starting to make sense. Slowly." He says to me. I nod.
"It can only mean one thing: he's alive," I say. "I just know it." Rook nods.
"Yeah, yeah." He then gestures to me for us to get off the Mantis, and as soon as we're off, I then hear familiar beeps and trills. Rook immediately ignites Cal's lightsaber, letting the white glow illuminate his dark eyes as he does. I then hear unfamiliar sounds, growls that sound almost familiar, yet not at the same time.
"Ah, shit," Rook says. "Viperwolves. These bastards." I grit my teeth but just before I can move, I hear the familiar shot of an Imperial blaster, and I whirl around to see that Rook has picked up a blaster from a fallen stormtrooper, the trooper's plastoid armor chewed out completely. Rook looks down at the body.
"Uh, who are these guys?" He asks. "They don't look so tough." I frown.
"The Empire's main military force," I answer him. "Stormtroopers. They carry many weapons of their own, blasters, electrostaffs, you name it." Rook looks at me.
"Rocket launchers?" He asks with a grin. I nod.
"Yes," I say. "They carry rocket launchers." Rook nods, then holsters the blaster.
"I think I'll take this with me back to base, see what General Ardmore can make of it," he says. "Hopefully we can put this entire Na'vi situation aside and deal with this so-called Empire you speak of that is so dangerous it could destroy the whole galaxy." I nod to him.
"Agreed," I tell him. "Just try not to get yourself killed, Rook." He chuckles.
"Don't worry about me," he says. "Just focus on trying to find your boy toy." I glare at him.
"He is a Jedi," I hiss. "And if I hear you say that again, I'll bury you myself." Rook nods.
"Noted, come on, let's head back and see what General Ardmore has to say about this."
(Bridgehead, Siera's POV)
Once we make it back to Bridgehead, Col. Quaritch greets us in the doorway. I roll my eyes. This bastard is going to be the death of me, I know it. I then hear the familiar sound of something being scanned and I turn around.
"BD-1!" I exclaim as the soldiers come in with the droid in their grasp. General Ardmore grabs me, attempting to hold me back, but I clock her in the jaw with my elbow and quickly race to BD's side, the droid scrambling up my leg and settling on my back as I grit my teeth, my hands aflame with my magick.
"What is this thing? It followed us here!" One of the RDA soldiers says. I blink my eyes.
"What do you mean it followed you? And the droid has a name and it happens to be a he, thank you very much." I hiss. Rook blinks his eyes as he takes the Imperial blaster in his hands.
"Can we worry about the droid in a bit?" He asks. "Right now, General Ardmore, you might want to take a look at this." Ardmore turns her head to Rook and glances at the blaster.
"Strange weaponry," she says as she takes the blaster and places it down. "Perhaps we can use these to our advantage against the Na'vi resistance." Quaritch flicks his tail as he steps up behind myself and Rook.
"Can we, really?" He asks. Ardmore turns to him.
"What are you doing back at base, Col.?" She asks. "I thought you and Blue Squad were going after Sully." Quaritch nods.
"We did, in the dead of night, but they escaped." They? Who's they? Oh, I really hope he doesn't mean Cal. That man will fight to the ends of the galaxy for me, and even I know better than to cross him. I turn to Quaritch.
"Who's they?" I ask. "Be more specific, Col." Rook nods.
"Yeah, I'm curious about that too." He says. Quaritch's yellow eyes narrow before he says,
"Sully's kids, followed by the man himself and his animal of a wife." I growl at him, using my magick to pin him to the wall, much to the protest of General Ardmore and Cpl. Lyle Wainfleet.
"You sick son of a bitch!" I snarl as Rook tries to stop me, but I pin him to the wall as well. "You went after children?!" Rook growls.
"Siera, listen to me!" He yells. "If you want to see him again, you will let go of Col. Quaritch, now!" I don't turn to him, keeping my magick alight.
"Or what?" I ask him, my eyes turning to him. My palms stay alight with my magick as Rook ignites the lightsaber and points it to my throat.
"Or I'll use your boy toy's own weapon against you," he says coldly. "And I will not hesitate to use it." I stiffen. Is he being serious right now? Does he really intend to use my beloved's own weapon against me? I turn to the struggling Quaritch, BD beeping against my back.
"You're right, BD," I say to the droid. "Cal wouldn't allow this." I let Quaritch go, and as the Recom falls to the floor, Rook deactivates the lightsaber and clips it to his belt.
"Glad we can come to an agreement," Ardmore says as I shoot her a glare. "Now, Rook, you will go with Blue Squad, and so will the witch." I glare at her.
"No," I say coldly and bluntly. "I'll go with Rook, but I'll be damned if I'm gonna let Quaritch go with us. I don't trust him." Ardmore steps closer to me, hissing in my ear,
"You will learn to trust him and us," she says. "If you wish to survive in this world." I pull away from her with a huff then I walk away. Rook looks at me, grabbing my arm as he turns back to General Ardmore.
"She'll go, if you make me head officer of Blue Squad." I look at him, then Ardmore nods.
"Deal." Col. Quaritch blinks his eyes in shock.
"What, General? That's not-..." Ardmore looks at Quaritch.
"That's enough, Col." Rook blinks his eyes. I look at him, then use my magick to teleport myself to the entrance of the building.
"Let's go," I say to him. "We're wasting daylight."
(The Forest, near High Camp)
I use my magick to teleport myself ahead of Rook and Blue Squad, scanning the horizon while keeping myself busy trying to keep BD away from Quaritch at all costs. I then hear familiar voices and gesture to Rook to come forward. I also smell a scent I haven't smelled in years, oil mixed with leather, and what seems to be ginger. I gasp, then I use my magick to teleport myself ahead once more, until I collide with a familiar body, pushing him against the tree as I punch him in the gut, then pull him in for a kiss.
"Cal...." I tell him. I pull away from the kiss as he coughs, and he groans.
"Nice to see you too, love," he chokes out, then coughs. I kiss him again, then Rook clears his throat, making Cal pull away from me and turning to Rook.
"So you must be Cal?" Rook asks. Cal nods.
"Yes," he says. "That's me." I smile at Cal, then turn to Rook.
"You mind giving us a bit of privacy, Rook?" I tell him. Rook nods.
"Yeah," he says. "Just....don't be loud, I don't want to hear it." I grin, before I give Cal my charm, then we go through a portal towards the base.
(Warning, Lemon Scene, Lemon Scene abound!! Fuck it, I'm doing it in the first chapter, since it's a reunion between my OC and Cal!)
As soon as we're at the base, Cal kisses my shoulder. He then runs his fingers through my hair as I grin.
"Woah, there, cowboy," I tell him. Cal shakes his head.
"I love you," he says. "And.....I want you. It's been...." I nod as I kiss him.
"I know, it's been way too long, I know that." Cal then gathers me into his arms, yanking me close to him as he kisses me hard. I run my fingers through his hair, as his go to my waist, holding me there. Cal grins then kisses me again, first my lips then my jaw, moving down as he removes my jacket, then his. I shiver as I watch him, my eyes blown in lust and love as I do. He smiles at me, then takes my hand, lying me down as he kisses me again, grinding his hips against mine teasingly. I shiver at his touch.
"C-Cal....." I hiss. "Please, don't tease me, please..." Cal chuckles then takes off his shirt, exposing his chest, light skin and the dusting of freckles dancing across his shoulders and biceps. I purr then I kiss him again, deeply. He kisses me back with the same intensity, the same ferocity. With a purr escaping me, I grab his shoulders, digging my nails into his blades as he groans against my mouth in pleasure.
"Sithspit," he curses. "Shit, Siera.....we haven't even started yet." I grin.
"Then what are you waiting for?" I ask him. Cal chuckles before kissing me hard once more, grabbing my shirt and pulling it up and over my head before letting his mouth go to my dusky nipple, making my eyes widen.
"Fuck, Cal...~" I hiss, my fingers digging into his short hair. He chuckles against my skin as he pulls away, then kisses me again, his fingers going to his gun belt, taking it off then he undoes my belt, letting his fingers slide past my barriers to get to my center. I shiver at this, using my magick to basically take off his boots and pants and put them to the side before I climb on top of him, pushing him against his back. Cal growls in pleasure as he pulls me in for another kiss, then I bring my hips down fully, sinking my center on his member, as he shivers.
"Karking heck, Siera....~" he moans out as I kiss him again, rolling my hips down against his as he moans in pleasure, his nails digging into the ground beneath him. I kiss him again, then rock my hips against his once more, only for him to flip us around so I'm on my back and he's on top of me, and he kisses me hard, digging his teeth into my shoulder, where the mark is. I gasp, gritting my teeth together.
"Cal, please....fuck.....Sithspit, move!" I hiss at him. He chuckles again before snapping his hips against mine, making me gasp in pleasure. I shiver and moan softly, my head thrown back, until my eyes zero in on his mark on his shoulder, and I sink my teeth into it, making him groan against my skin in pain and pleasure. He lets go of me, teeth-wise, then snaps his hips forward again, almost making me scream. I shiver once more as he continues to move his hips at a fast yet steady pace, his fingers trailing through my silver hair as he kisses me hard.
"I love you," he whispers against my skin. "So much." He continues to thrust his hips while I'm still trying to speak, my mind overwhelmed by the pleasure.
"L-Love you too..." I stammer out. "K-Karking fucking hell, Cal, I'm close!~" Cal puts his hands on either side of me as he continues to snap his hips, his breathing becoming more heavier and erratic.
"S-So am I, sweetheart...~" he groans out. "So am I." He snaps his hips twice and with a scream escaping him, he releases into me, and I feel his seed fill me up to the brim. I then feel his hips move again, and I gasp.
"Cal..." I gasp out. He yanks my head up.
"Cum for me, love.~" he hisses. No sooner does he say it, I scream out my release, my entire body shaking from the pleasure. Cal pants as he lies on top of me, kissing my markings on my face, then the mark on my shoulder, the one he so proudly renewed. I purr.
"Thank you," I whisper. "It was perfect." Cal hums.
"I'm glad," he says. "I'm glad you did." I kiss him again, stroking the light stubble that dances across his jaw.
"We should sleep," I say. "We have a lot to talk about in the morning." Cal nods.
"Agreed." He says, then we both fall asleep.
(High Camp, the Next Morning-Siera's POV)
I crack open my eyes to see that Cal is still asleep, but then I hear the door open, a manly scream then I hear cursing.
"Fuck! Fucking hell, why did I walk in? I didn't want to....oh, jeez!" I smirk from my spot.
"Well, Rook, nice of you to pop in," I say with a grin. Rook flips me off without facing me, his back to me and Cal.
"Fuck you, you stupid bitch," he says. "Can you please get some clothes on, both of you? Speaking of, you guys weren't quiet, you guys were literally fucking like rabbits, I was this close to ending my own life with Cal's lightsaber, or worse, tearing out my ears so I wouldn't have had to hear you guys. But no. I was up all night, and got no sleep, thank you very fucking much!" I roll my eyes then I turn to Cal, waking him.
"Cal? Come on, babe." I say to him, kissing him. He hums then opens his green eyes and smiles.
"Hey," he says. "How'd you sleep?" I grin.
"I slept good." But just before any of us can say anymore, Rook then pipes up,
"Oh good, he's awake, um....once you guys are decent, you might want to come out here and talk to General Lance. I have him on the other line." I stand up fully, then Cal and I quickly dress, before we step out of our makeshift home.
"Okay," I say. "So, where's Lance?" Rook then pulls up a monitor and on the screen is a man well in his late fifties with graying hair and dark steely eyes.
"General Lance," Rook says. "This is First Lieutenant Colonel Aiden Fisher, and I'd like to report on a couple things." General Lance nods.
"Okay," he says. "What is it?" Rook then turns to me.
"First of all, I'd like to introduce you to the one I've been working with. She's a space witch, or in her case, a Nightsister. Her name is Siera. And this is her.....mate, Jedi Knight Cal Kestis." Lance looks at me then to Cal.
"So," he says. "You're the one who helped out Rook?" I nod my head.
"Yes sir," I say. "And he helped me out as well." Rook then glances back at the monitor.
"Oh and General, we have something.....there's an Empire coming here. I know, it sounds crazy, but we're gonna need to build up some different types of weaponry, considering ours won't do shit against something like this." Lance raises an eyebrow.
"What do you mean, Rook?" He asks. I walk up.
"Using the Empire's weaponry against themselves, specifically their blasters," I say. "Not including myself and Cal." Lance's eyes narrow as he looks at me.
"What is it that you can do that will benefit the inhabitants of this planet and the Marines without risking their lives?" He asks me. I blink.
"General," I say as calmly as I can. "I have a magick that is beyond your control. You could say this power is out of this world. Same with the weapon my beloved carries." Cal ignites his lightsaber, letting the white glow illuminate the room. Lance nods.
"Very well. We'll have the Marines down there in no time," he says. "We'll be able to-...." Rook cuts him off.
"Actually, sir, with all due respect, we'll be somewhat "working" with General Ardmore to figure this out, same with the locals around the area as well." Lance's eyes narrow.
"Alright, what do you have in mind?" Rook sucks in a breath.
"A peace treaty between the Na'vi and the RDA, plus they'll have the full backing of our Marines as well until this so called Empire and their forces are driven out. We will be speaking with General Ardmore about this too." Lance nods.
"Alright, son," he says. "Just remember, report what you find, then send everything you can find back to me. Godspeed, Lieutenant Colonel Fisher." Rook nods.
"Godspeed, General Lance." The feed cuts out, and Cal and I turn to Rook.
"Now what?" I ask. Rook sighs.
"We head back to Bridgehead, report what we found to her, but keep her somewhat in the dark." I nod.
"Sounds like a plan." Cal nods.
"I'm with you." He says. Rook nods as well.
"Alright, let's go before the bitch throws a hissy fit." I laugh as we start heading back to Bridgehead.
Ooooo, I'm on a roll tonight, baby!!! First chapter is finished and just in time!!!! Hope you guys like this, and I'll see y'all in the next chapter!!!!
