"Wait we're going to meet them now!" Kitty cried. "Yeah we're not ready!" Crossbow shouted, "CB's right give us a minute." I say calmly. We huddled up. "How are you so calm!" Kitty hissed.

"You will know you are calm,  at peace. Passive. A Jedi uses the Force for knowledge and defense, never for attack." I quoted. Kitty and I high fived.

"You did not just go all Yoda on us!" Crossbow whispered. Then we all started laughing. "OK team just be your self and a little intimidation wouldn't hurt either."I told them.

We stuck our hands in, "Together." I asked. "Together!" we shouted. We walked over to the choice that would change our lives.

"How long have you been friends?" Canary asked us "Always..." Kitty replied stone faced. Before high giving me. Susan groaned " we all go back quite a ways."

Batman spoke "Canary you first, the team should come running once you get in there." she walked in to the booth we heard a beep and she was gone. "Your turn Susan," Susan nodded but was nervous,  she climed in. But Bruce said something to the machine and she vanished too! "Kitty you next." Kitty was worried but still had her fun. " Beam me up Scottie!" she told Batman making me laugh. Then it was just us. "OK Casey your last. I'm guessing you have something planed for your first meet with the team?" he asked, so I told him the truth that we were just going to be ourselves. He nodded. "Ourselves are weird telling you this now. We're sort of synced together in that friend sort of way. Like mind melded so its gonna be something!" he laughed as I sat in the photo booth.

"O2 Batman override" there was a flash off light and boom I was in a cave.

"About time you got here!" Crossbow teased "yea oh fearless leader. Who was gave up 40 MILLION again." Kitty joked. "We're all dead aren't we. That why you haven't kill me for that yet."I asked "If that's so how'd you die?" Canary joked. We instantly went,

"We er..." kitty started  "Drowned in a bathtub." I jumped in . Canary surprised me by going "All three of you?" Susan went "It was a big bathtub." the 3 of us high fived "That was awesome!" we all spoke at the same time "Thanks for playing Canary. " we said together. "Stop that!" we said in unison "No you stop!" we kept going "enou-" we shut up at the same time.

We turned when we heard a cough. To see a group of teenagers watching us closely. We straitened up. "So what about 40 million? " a boy with dark sunglasses asked suspiciously "awww come on Rob leave the new girls alone," said a boy with red hair he winked at us, but he was cut off. By Batman as he explained to the team about how we were the newest members.

"This is crazy-" Sunglasses says. We looked at each over and we start singing.

So I call this therapist and she says "girl you can't be fixed just take this"

We fade off after a look from Batman. But he turns away I see that he's trying to hide a smile.
"Anyway," Canary continues,  "you guys go get to know each other by the tv" as the others go we all turn to follow the team, I hear Batman tell Canary he's going to stay with us for a bit. I shrug it off,  I think he's secretly starting to like us.
As we walk in the news is on something about crime rates. Then an article about the Jaded diamond comes on, "Turn it up quick." I shout. The other girl turns it up looking shocked. The news anchor goes,

Today is the unveiling of the jade diamond. As we go live to the museum. Over to you Janet.  Susan and Kat start to smile evilly. "Your both Sadists." I tell them.
Thanks Rick.   A blond woman says, Today I'm here to get a close up of this one of a kind rock estimated at worth over 40 million. This got some stares and looks at us in the cave...  the camra zooms in on the  amazing  diamond.  The woman continues  Isn't it perfect  with the inlaid-

I missed the rest cause I was getting yelled at. "How is it there!" Susan shouted at me, "yea," Kat adds "didn't you give it to him" they both look at Batman as he pulls out the bag. He reaches in and pulls out a softball! "What did you do?!" he asks me shocked.

I just shrugged. "It wasn't hard,  you see I thought I  someone was watching us, " I nodded at batman " so before we went to save Grace I lifted the diamond from you Cb and switched the diamond for a softball I found as we were running. Little did I know no 5 mins. Later Batman would demand the diamond. That we didn't have. It just worked."

"wait," Kitty asked puzzled "how is it back at the museum?"

"oh I ran it back after I swapped them. It was a feeling I had so I took it you know what happens if we ignore it."I looked at Crossbow. "Monte Carlo." Kitty mumbles

"One time, I doubted you one time,"Crossbow groans.

"well,"Batman turns to walk away "that saves me the trouble of having to return it."

We glanced at each other. "SOOOOOOO you mean to tell us we don't have to be here we could have ran!" Crossbow demanded "No he knows who we are it was are only choice" Kitty spoke.

"Yeah who are you." the boy with sunglasses asks.

"Please," I shrug "I know who you all are do you think I'm just gonna tell you like that." I say snapping my fingers.

"Wait you know you we are?" a girl with green skin asks.

"Yup," I say popping the p " Miss Martian, or Miss M, real name M'gann M'orss or Megan Mores." I point to the boy next to her with a superman shirt. "Superboy, or Connor Kent," I look at the dark skinned boy now, "Aqualad, also Kaldur'ahm goes by Kaldur," next I turn to the red headed boy with his mouth hanging open, "Kid Flash, Wallace West, goes by Wally," I turn away and start to walk towards mister mystery sunglasses boy, "Robin," I lean in so only he can hear me I even get a bird to swoop down and distract Superboy (he has super hearing) "Richard John Grayson, goes by Dick" I pull away smirking,  seeing him look so totally surprised. I walk back to the girls.

I call to the bird still bothering Connor in a sharp chirp. It lands on my finger. As I stroke it I look up everyone is shocked. The team looks scared, Susan is the first one to speak,
"When the hell did you have time to do that. We found out about this less than 30 minutes ago!!!"

I shrug it off "We had time as we were running, I did some research, god I'm the hacker here, you know what mayhem I can cause."

"That's true," Kat replies "look at the museum, or well anytime we need computer help." she ads slyly.

"So," I start to change the subject "have anything good to do in Maine, I heard here in Happy Harbor they make great seafood, and the beach is amazing."I comment off handedly.

"H-how do y-you k-kno-ow where w-w-we are!" M'gann stuttered

"She just NOES! Susan cracks making me and Kat completely lose it!

I decide to tell them when I finally calm down, "I can smell it (Susan giggles at this) the salt air, plus it smells like spruce, and the Appalachians so I put 2 and 2, together."

"This is why we love your power!" Kat jokes.

"yea we get to freak so many people out!" Susan shouts.

I grab the remote and start channel surfing as I listen to Susan and Kat talk to the team then I something on just a snatch but...

Good morning Gotham! A slick haired host says Its 8 here and and soon coming up next is an act that I'm sure you all know but ahhh.... I can't tell you yet, next after the break. I'm G. Gordon Godfrey back after the break.

I freak out I skip 100 Channels ahead to make sure no one else finds it. Why might you ask? You may. The Heartbreakers yea you know my band,  is supposed to play after the commercial break only were not in Gotham were in Maine.

I leap up from the couch and grab my band mates going to find Batman without explanation to anyone I drag them along.

"woah easy killer you got to go somewhere!" Susan asks obliviously to what's wrong.

"no duh Cb" Kat says "we're late, we're late for a very important date!" Kat teases innocently.

I snap at them while walking "Yes we forgot about the talkshow were on in the next 3 minutes !" "what" Susan asks confused suddenly realizing what I mean she pales.

We all break into a run for the batman.

But will we make it!?
