030.
STEVE HAD gone looking for Dr Cho and the three stayed in the jet. Once they gained information, Steve spoke, "Did you guys copy that?"
"We did," Clint replied.
"I've got a private jet taking off across town," Lana said as she looked at the screen in front of her.
"No manifest," Natasha added, "That could be him."
Clint had been looking at the ground, "There. It's a truck from the lab," he pointed out, "Right above you, Cap. On the loop by the bridge. It's them. You got three with the Cradle one in the cab. I could take out the driver."
"Negative. That truck crashes, the gem could level the city," Steve told him over the comms, "We need to draw out Ultron."
"Steve, please don't do anything stupid."
"Kind of already did." It went silent for a moment before he spoke, "Well he's definitely unhappy. I'm gonna try and keep him that way."
"You're not a match for him, Cap," Clint tried.
Steve panted, "Thanks Barton."
Clint flew the jet overhead, "Are you two ready?"
"I don't think I ever will be," Lana muttered. They opened the hatch and Natasha smirked.
"We got a window in, five... four... three... give 'em hell." They dropped onto the pavement and sped off. Stark had made the motorcycles for them as presents and despite the situation, Lana was enjoying the ride.
She spotted Steve's shield laying in the middle of the road and grumbled, "We're always picking up after you boys." She tilted the motorcycle and grabbed it.
"They're heading under the overpass. I've got no shot," she heard Clint say.
"Which way?" Natasha asked.
"Hard right... Now."
They turned off and cars beeped and swerved. They sped through small passageways and market stalls until they came upon the truck.
Lana could see Ultron and Steve locked in battle on the top. She swerved under the truck and came up on the other side and threw the shield upwards for Steve to catch.
Ultron did something and the ground lifted. She grumbled profanities under her breath as she halted.
"Are you good?" Natasha asked.
"Yeah, just peachy."
She saw her sister go up some stairs as Ultron's robots fired at her. Lana decided to stay on the road as she was just a little bit behind.
She approached a few crashed cars and winced as Natasha spoke, "Clint can you draw out the guards."
"Let's find out."
Shots were fired from the jet as the truck exited the overpass and the guards flew up to stop it.
Lana drove on and saw Steve and Ultron fly into a train, "They're heading back to you. So whatever you're gonna do, do it now," Clint informed.
"I'm going in. Cap, can you keep him occupied?" Natasha asked.
Steve panted in exhaustion, "What do you think I've been doing?"
"Don't worry Steven I'm coming," Lana said as she approached the train. She saw the hole in the side and looked down at her bike. She grimaced before jumping onto the bus.
She rolled to her feet as Steve's shield came flying at her. She caught it and threw it back.
The fight continued between the three. Punches and kicks were thrown but all attempts were futile.
Suddenly, a silver blur sped in and knocked Ultron away from Steve. Lana stood warily as her head pounded. Parts of the truck were encased in red swirls and trapped Ultron for moving.
The two heroes looked back at the Maximoff girl.
"Please don't do this," Ultron said.
"What choice do we have?" Wanda replied. Ultron turned angrily and shot a beam of light towards Pietro, who sped away, causing the beam to shoot forward to the front and out of the glass window.
Ultron blasted the side of the train before shoving his metal arm into Lana's face and flying off with her.
"Shit!" Steve shouted as they left.
"Do you see Nat?" Clint asked. Ultron had taken the two women together.
"If you have the package, get it to Stark! Go!" Steve replied. As much as he wanted to go find the two he couldn't because that cradle was the most important thing at the moment. He couldn't find them if he was dead.
"Do you have eyes on Nat?" Clint asked again.
"Go!"
