022.

AFTER A BIT, she got up to heal Clint some more. Tony was flying the jet Natasha was talking to Bruce and Thor was walking around boredly. "Thor, report on the Hulk," Natasha called.

"The gates of Hel are filled with the screams of his victims," He replied joyously. Lana stifled her laugh as Natasha glared at him. Thor's eyes widened as he witnessed Bruce's expression and tried to fix his mistake, "But not the screams of the dead, of course. No, no, wounded screams. Mainly whimpering a great deal of complaining and tales of sprained deltoids and gout." Lana was full-on laughing now and she walked away to contain herself.

"Hey, Banner, Dr Cho is on her way in from Seoul," Tony said, "Is it okay if she sets up in your lab?"

"Oh yeah, she knows her way around," Bruce called back.

"Thanks. Tell her to prep everything, Barton's gonna need the full treatment."

"No, he'll be fine. He'll only need half," Lana stated. Tony looked at her confused, "I partially healed him."

"Ok. Jarvis, take the wheel." Tony approached Thor, Steve and Lana, who was looking at the sceptre, "Feels pretty good, huh? I mean you've been after this thing since S.H.I.E.L.D. collapsed. Not that I haven't enjoyed our little raiding parties, but..."

"No, but this... This brings it to a close," Thor replied.

"As soon as we find out what else this has been used for. I don't just mean weapons." Steve said.

"You mean like the enhanced we saw in the field?" Lana asked causing him to nod.

"Since when is Strucker capable of human enhancement?" Steve questioned.

"Banner and I will give it a once over before it goes back to Asgard," Tony stated, "Is that cool with you?" Thor nodded, "Just a few days till the farewell party."

Lana smacked Steve's chest and whispered, "It's a farewell party." He shrugged.

"You're staying right?" Tony asked him.

"Yes, yes, of course. A victory should be honoured with revels," Thor responded.

"Yeah, who doesn't love revels. Captain? Hot stuff?" Lana rolled her eyes at the nickname he had given her. Tony had an obsession with giving people ridiculous nicknames.

"Hopefully this puts an end to the Chitauri and HYDRA. So yes, revels." Tony looked to her expectantly.

"Natasha's making me," she shrugged.

Jarvis told them they were coming up to the tower and Lana smiled to herself as they landed. The doors opened and doctors swept Clint away. Maria walked inside the jet as Thor left their side and walked out.

"Lab's all set up Boss."

Tony spun in his chair, "Actually he's the boss," he pointed at Steve, "I just pay for everything and design everything and make everyone look cooler."

"Don't be so bitter, it gives you wrinkles," Lana patted his shoulder and walked out the jet and towards the infirmary. She looked in as the doctor used a machine to repair the rest of his injury.

"How's he doing?" Bruce said from behind her.

"Unfortunately he's still Barton," Tony replied sarcastically.

"That's terrible."

"He's fine. He's thirsty."

Lana looked back as Natasha crouched next to Clint, "Are you sure he's gonna be okay. Pretending to need this guy really brings the team together," she joked.

"There's no possibility of deterioration," Dr Cho replied, "The nano-molecular functionality is instantaneous. His cells don't know they're bonding with simulacra. We based it on Lana's healing powers.

"She's creating tissue," Bruce spoke excitedly.

"If you brought him to my lab, the Regeneration Cradle could do this in 20 minutes."

"Oh, he's flat-lining," Tony joked coming in with some kind of smoothie, "Call it. Time?"

"No, no, no, I'm gonna, live forever," Barton replied then laughed, "I'm gonna be made of plastic."

"Here's your beverage," Tony handed him one of the drinks.

"You'll be made of you Mr Barton," Dr Cho smiled, "Your own girlfriend won't be able to tell the difference."

"I don't have a girlfriend," He responded causing Lana to roll her eyes at the irony.

"That I can't fix," Cho shrugged, "This is the next thing, Tony. Your clunky metal suits are gonna be left in the dust."

"They are clunky," Lana nodded, "Have you thought about Nano-tech?"

"That's exactly the plan. And no I have not, just yet anyway," Tony replied to both questions, "And Helen, I expect to see you at the party on Saturday." Lana and Natasha took one of the drinks he had brought and sipped it.

"Unlike you, I don't have a lot of time for parties," she replied, "Will Thor be there?"

Lana stifled a laugh and walked out bumping into Steve, "Captain."

"Lana. Can I talk to you in my room?"

"Sure," she smirked and they walked into his room. He closed the door and connected their lips. Lana smiled as she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer.

She pulled away and smiled at him, "Hi."

"Hi. So am I gonna sneak into your room tonight or are you coming to me?"

"I'm not getting out of my bed. So you come to me," Lana replied. Steve nodded and she pulled him back down to kiss him. A knock came on the door and the two parted quickly as Natasha came in.

"What are you doing in here?" Natasha asked looking at Lana.

"I was telling Steve about my time in Russia, he was curious," Lana lied.

"Right..." Natasha trailed narrowing her eyes.

"I'm gonna go. See you later, Steven."

"Bye, Svetlana," Steve smirked causing her to groan. She walked out of the room with Natasha's eyes trained on her suspiciously.
