I don't know how long I passed out but when I woke up, I could see the familiar few which I haven't seen in years. 

Me: This.....

The blue light which came from the window was nothing but the proof that I was on a ship... a ship which was not the Nightshade and we were in space right now. For a moment, I couldn't help but stare at the outside and then look around. This room was quite spacious and definitely not just any room for a civilian. I highly doubt that they would give me a room for just anyone.... but I didn't think they would give me such a spacious room.

I didn't even care when the door opened or that people came in. I was just soo stunned to see the space.

Me: Beautiful, ain't it?

Obiwan: Indeed.

It took me a bit more until I turned around and I was glad that they let me look outside as long as I wanted. Now I had 3 jedi masters in front of me. Skywalker, Kenobi as well as Plo, these people were all the masters that came to that world.

Me: Are they safe?

Plo: Thanks to you.

Me: Good to hear that.... What about the Nightshade?

Anekin: It's safe to say that it doesn't exist anymore.

Kenobi: Which brings us to the new.

Me: Huh?

Kenobi: We are sorry for your loss.... and at the same time, Anekin here lost his own Padawan due to.... let's call it circumstances.

Anekin: What the old man here wants to say is, that I would like to take you in as my Padawan. You wanted to help Barriss and the kids and even stopped us from-

Me: Why me?

Anekin: Huh?

Me: I am by no means qualified enough to be the compensation for your lost Padawan.

Anekin: What do you mean?

Me: I mean what I say. I've been on the planat and only know what my Master taught me. It were things specifically related to the Nightshade.

Plo: You are afraid of your skills.

Me: No, I am afraid to loose another Master. He protected me and sacrificed himself for me... How can I.... I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I see that happen again.

Obiwan: Ah... well in that case, you don't have to worry about anything because as reckless as he is, he wouldn't leave his Padawan.

Anekin: That is right. So how about it?

Me: .... I... can I think about this a bit more?

Obiwan and Plo looked at each other before tapping Anekin on his shoulder and leaving us alone. I am sure that they were giving me time to talk this out with the person who was supposed to be my new master but I was still grieving after all this time. How couldn't I? I would never forget about my master. He was the best teacher and a great person as well.

Anekin: It's only us now... so be honest... what are you really afraid of?

Me: As I said, I can't see my Master die.

Anekin: Do you think I am that weak? Or you?

Me: No, that isn't-

Anekin: Then what is Snips.

Me: ... *sigh* I was alone for such a long time... I don't know how to react or even feel about this now.

Anekin: Then let's take this slowly. I would be there for you.

Me: But aren't you grieving for Berriss?

Anekin: I am... but I also know that she wouldn't want me too... Besdies Master Obiwan did have a point... we both lost someone and we both need a new student or teacher. I already know you a bit and you already know me a bit. 

Me: And that makes this easier why?

Anekin: Partners in crime some would say.

Me: Except that we didn't and-

Anekin: Your master asked me and Obiwan to take you in.

Me: What?!

Anekin: When we touched your shoulder on that cursed ship, while you were shutting it down... we could hear his voice. He asked us to take care of you and he said to not force you. He cared a lot about you.

Me: ... he did.... 

Anekin: I know this isn't a decision anyone should make for you. So .... catch.

He threw something to me and I immediately recognised it to be the same communication device I used earlier to contact him.

Anekin: Think about it before contacting me.

With that he was about to leave the room but I didn't need time. If my master asked them to guid me, then there must have been a reason for that. I trusted my master with my life especially after he saved it. So why shouldn't I follow his clue to stay with them. Maybe this was really where I was meant to be.

Me: I'll accept.

Anekin: Huh?

Me: I'll be your Padawan, Master.

Anekin: Good choice.

With that he finally left me alone. Maybe I would come to regret this day... maybe not but who knows what the future has in store for me. I for my part was for once looking forward to it.
