Waning Gibbous (3rd Friday)

     April 14th, 2017

And so... the month drags on.

...The 24th would be the next session of the charm that Arthur is using, along with all of the other witches of the world. He is, as of late, aware of things in the world around him that he has never noticed before.
The day possesses a sort of cheerful and playful atmosphere. It is both sunny and windy outside, and it is now 24 minutes before the ending of the school day.
A group of girls are playing volleyball, and some boys are playing basketball once again in the school gym. Arthur is sitting on the edge of the gym with a few friends, listening to music.
Despite usually having no plans, he is already anticipating this evening.
................................................................................
LATER...
It is risky, but Arthur tells his family he is going to bed, when really he has other intentions.
Because they are on the first story apartment, Arthur can easily get down onto the pavement from where he is on the edge of his bedroom.
His mother and sister have one of Soline's friends over, Gabby, and Arthur can still hear them playing a game in the other room. Soline and Gabby have one main way of passing time when they're together, that being insulting people behind their backs. It is their own art form. Their second favorite hobby is debating anything and everything.
He puts on a light jacket, and creeps out the window. Although the wind had blown earlier, the night is now still. Arthur looks, once again, upon the amazing view of the flora, the trees, and the crystal clear night.
The night seems to contain a restless yet calm presence.
He surreptitiously traces his way through the grass and the elegant, tall, venerable trees, climbs and jumps the fence, and then walks the path all the way down to the crest of the coastline.
He looks down at the smooth sand below. Although he cannot see them in the dim night, Arthur recalls the silky smooth pieces of seashells, so antiquated by the tempest of the waves, crashing over their surfaces again and again.
As far as he can see, his surroundings are completely untouched. There is no sign of tracks to be seen along the lip of the beach.
It is extraordinarily exciting to be out here in the dead of night, without the knowledge of anyone else.
Even if he wouldn't find her, he is glad to be leaving to do something exciting.
He continues now, to walk a ways down the coastline. He has now past his entire apartment complex, and the breeze has picked up.

The lust some of us have for the beach is real.
The beach takes us back to who we really are, and it fills our hearts with the pure essence of life.
Standing here at the edge of the world.

Now, to the boy's right is a rose garden. The flowers are not yet in bloom, but the garden has a captivating look, that of silhouettes standing in an organized formation. They are akin to a group of choreographed dancers.
While he is so caught up in looking the other way at the village, he is caught off guard when he sees gleaming eyes, and the sound of very small feet wandering toward him.
When he does see her, he begins to walk much more briskly.
As the boy kneels down,Nightshade leaps up into his toned arms, and the details of her smooth fur and her purple eyes then become visible to him through the shadows.
      Something is different though...
As of tonight, Arthur can now understand her more. She doesn't need words to speak to him, and they can actually communicate using thought patterns.
"Where do I really know you from?...," she softly inquires.

      *There is a pause*

"...Another life..." the boy sends a thought form to her.
The two turn their heads to stare up at the waning gibbous moon.

Something changes in him in this instant, he now feels his sense of self widening as he stares at her and views the oneness at the edge of the world, where he sees that we are not born into this world, we grow out of this world.
