It's movie night at Mario's house as Y/n and Mario invited over Meggy, Tari, Desti, Tails Doll, Jeffy and Bendy for a sleepover tonight as they all went down to the basement to pick out a good movie to watch while Luigi is fixing up some snacks in the kitchen.

Y/n: Alright guys. What movie do you guys want to watch tonight?

Mario: How about the Mario Movie?

Meggy: Mario, we seen that movie a thousand times. How about the Cat in that Hat?

Desti: Ugh! No way! That movie is better if we were drunk as hell. What about a Tobey Macguire Spiderman movie?

Jeffy: I wanna watch that!

Desti: See? Jeffy gets it.

Tari: Uh...I don't think I'll watch a movie about spiders.

Y/n: It's a superhero movie, not a horror movie, Tari.

Tari: Oh...uh....well, how about we watch Howard the Duck?

Bendy: Lame! We should watch one of my cartoons since I used to work at an animation studio before moving over to that spaghetti factory.

Tails Doll: I wanna watch a Sonic Movie!

Jeffy: Me too!

Y/n: Well, since we can't decide which movie we want to watch tonight, why don't we make a vote on our selected movies. The most votes on the movie will be the movie we're gonna watch.

All: (Agreeing with each other)

But then, just as Y/n was about to grab a few things to plan out what they want to watch, Y/n came across a couple of large boxes that are filled with a bunch of VHS Tapes that are labeled, "Smiling Critters", which somehow got Y/n interested to what the Smiling Critters are about.

Y/n: That's odd. These boxes are filled with so many VHS Tapes that are all labeled, "Smiling Critters".

Luigi: Did somebody say, SMILING CRITTERS!!!

Suddenly, Luigi came into the basement with a really happy smile on his face after Y/n just mentioned the name, "Smiling Critters" as he grabbed one of the VHS tapes from the box as he remembered watching and recording every single episode of his childhood TV Show, The Smiling Critters.

Luigi: These are all of the tapes of my favorite TV Show from my childhood, and I recorded all 39 seasons of the series!

Y/n: Holy cow! 39 Seasons?! That must've been a very popular kind of TV Show back in the day.

Bendy: You ain't kidding. I mean, 39 seasons. That's gotta be a new record for the most episodes in a TV show like the Smiling Critters. They're probably just as popular as the Dr. Who Series.

Mario: Yeah, Luigi just couldn't stop talking about the Smiling Critters ever since he watched the first episode of the series, even I don't like watching the show and I don't want to make him sad, and I had to watch the show with him.

Luigi: Oh, come on, Mario. You know you love that red bear, Bobby Bearhug like she's a sister to you.

Mario: That's not true. I don't love her as a sister.

Luigi: Yeah, you do, Mario.

Mario: No, I don't.

Luigi: Yeah, you do. I actually love the green rabbit named Hoppy Hopscotch like she's a sister to me as she inspired me to work out that gave me the muscles I achieved.

Y/n: I see. Mario also achieved the same strong muscles ever since we managed to complete Mario's New Year's resolution and every time Mario eats a plate of spaghetti, all of the pounds he gained just replaced the fat with pure muscles.

Mario: It's true. It's no wonder why I managed to defeat Sonic in a Death Battle match when he ruined our beach trip and how I managed to pick up an entire Castle with my bare hands.

Luigi: I know, it's surprising how you managed to do that, Mario. But I think we should watch a couple of seasons of the Smiling Critters tonight. You guys will love watching it when you watch the first episode of Season 1.

Y/n: What's the series about anyway?

Luigi: I'm glad you asked, Y/n. You see, the Smiling Critters are a bunch of cute and colorful animals that is similar to the Care Bears and My Little Pony as they go on many adventures and discovered the power of friendship and creativity as the Smiling Critters all represent their own personality traits from their zipper pendants and blah, blah, blah....

As Luigi continues explaining about the Smiling Critters, everyone is already getting bored by Luigi's constant blabbering about his favorite show as Mario always had to deal with his brother's boring stuff when he was born in 1983 and Mario was born in 1981 and it's no wonder why Mario had to deal with that for a long time till adulthood.

In the end of Luigi's boring conversation about the Smiling Critters, the gang are already at the living room with their snacks and got all comfortable before Luigi popped in the VHS for Season 1 of the Smiling Critters as the TV showed their intro with a catchy theme song to go with it.

Y/n: Wow. They must've really put a lot of effort into that intro for the TV Show and I actually like to see more of this.

Mario: Whatever. I already hated this show and I'm gonna regret watching this show once again.

Y/n: Then why are you wearing a Bobby Bearhug onesie and holding a plushie of her.

Mario: Shut up. You didn't see anything.

Bendy: SIMP!!!

Mario: I'LL KILL YOU!!!

Bendy: TRY ME FATSO!!!

Y/n: (Deadpans) Comedy.

Tails Doll: I think this show is okay in my book.

Bendy: Me too.

Jeffy: Uh, Uncle Loogi? Does this show have the Hop Hop Song in it?

Mario: (Thinking) Don't tell it, Luigi. Don't tell Jeffy that the show has the Hop Hop Song in it.

Luigi: Yes, Jeffy. Hoppy Hopscotch does the Hop Hop Song and it's Luigi! Not Loogi.

Jeffy: Yay! Thanks, Uncle Loogi.

Luigi: Ugh, It's Luigi.

Mario: I hate you so much, Luigi. I like the Hop Hop song, but I just don't like it when they play it on this show.

Y/n: At least, SMG4 isn't here and busy making memes and doesn't have to listen to that song since he did die one time and got eaten alive by a demon rabbit after listening to the Hop Hop Song one too many times, not to mentioned that he smashed Jeffy's phone and bought a IPhone that had no earphone plug on it as a way to stop listening to that song.

Desti: No way. Is he serious?

Meggy: Yep. That's what SMG4 get for angering the bunny from the Hop Hop Song.

Jeffy: Yeah that's what he gets.

Y/n: Jeffy? Did you just change into your bunny outfit?

Jeffy: Yep, daddy. I got my bunny suit on and I'm ready to dance to the song tonight.

Bendy: I'm sure you are.

Tails Doll: This is gonna be so funny.

Then without warning, the TV shows Hoppy Hopscotch and a couple of bunnies that are dancing to the Hop Hop Song and Jeffy, Luigi and Tails Doll as Mario is already starting to get PTSD moments of seeing SMG4 get eaten alive by the demonic Hop Hop Bunny as his own mind has already at what he is watching now.

After watching at least a few seasons of the TV Show, the gang except Y/n and Mario are fast asleep in the other room and Mario is still upset that he had to watch 3 seasons of the show with Y/n as he is enjoying every moment like Luigi as he is fascinated by the Smiling Critters and their amazing adventures as he just can't go to sleep and not miss another episode of the Smiling Critters.

Mario: Do you really have to enjoying watch this show after just watching one episode?

Y/n: Shh~ This is the best part!

Mario: I don't understand why you have to watch this stupid movie on a movie night under a dark and stormy night outside of my house.

Mario: (Sobbing) Oh, Y/n! Why did you have to be like that?! (Sobbing)

Then suddenly, a bolt of lightning struck the TV from a nearby window, thus short-circuiting the TV with the tape of the Smiling Critters inside the VHS Player.

Y/n: HEY! I WAS WATCHING THAT!!!

Mario: LUIGI!!! GET IN HERE!!!

Then Luigi and the others went into the Living Room to see what happened as they see the TV got struck by lightning and stopped working while it was playing an episode of the Smiling Critters.

Luigi: Mario, what happened?

Mario: The TV's broken!

Luigi: Maybe we gotta add coins to make it work again!

Y/n: I think you should get a new TV and I think the VHS Tape got fried from the lightning bolt.

Luigi: WHAT?!!

Luigi then immediately went over to the VHS Player and tried to get the tape out but couldn't get it as it was all melted to the VHS Player as he started crying like a whiny brat over a destroyed video tape of his most favorite episode of the series.

Luigi: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! WHY?!?! WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!?!?!?

Bendy: Seriously?

Meggy: You can't be serious right now, Luigi?

Desti: Yeah, this is just sad.

Jeffy: Uncle Loogi is a freakin weirdo.

Mario: Oh, come on, Luigi. It's just a stupid tape.

Luigi: (RAGE MODE) What did you just say?!

He then grabs Mario by the neck in retaliation and is about to slap him across the face.

Luigi: (Demonic Voice) You disgust me, peasant!

Then Luigi just bitch slapped Mario and he got knocked out unconscious on the floor and Luigi resumed crying after he slapped MArio really hard like that for calling his favorite show stupid.

Jeffy: Damn, Uncle Loogi just bitch slapped Daddy! He's crazy as shit!

Y/n: God damn! I say, God Damn!

Luigi: Y/n! You can fix stuff, right?!

Y/n: Yeah, so?

Luigi: FIX IT! FIX IT! FIX IT!

Y/n: Why can't we just record the same episode with a new tape.

Luigi: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Y/n: Alright geez! Just give me the tape!

Luigi then pulled out the ruined tape from the VHS Player and gave it to Y/n for him to use his powers to make it look brand new. Within a few seconds, Y/n used his powers to fix the tape as well as the TV and VHS player and popped the tape in the VHS Player to see if it worked, which actually did as Y/n managed to fix it right up.

Luigi: WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! YEAH BABY!!!

Y/n: There. You happy now, Luigi?

Luigi: Yes, thanks a bunch, Y/n. I owe ya one.

Y/n: No problem, Luigi. I think I'm gonna watch a couple more minutes before I go to bed.

Luigi: Okie-Dokie then. (Grabs Mario and dragged him to bed) We'll see you in the morning.

Y/n: Ok good night everyone.

Luigi: Good night.

Tails Doll: Night, daddy.

Jeffy: Good night.

Meggy: Good night.

Desti: Night.

Bendy: Good night.

Y/n: (Sighs in relief) Now I can watch the Smiling Critters in peace. I mean, what can possibly go wrong?

As everyone went to bed, Y/n continued watching the Smiling Critters with the lights off and enjoyed watching the show until he saw how the Smiling Critters are having a hard time sleeping at night due to the nasty storm outside as the sound of lightning is scaring the Smiling Critters to death until a purple cat by the name of CatNap came in to the front door and everyone is excited to see him and they all ask him to help them get to sleep as he unleashed his red colored gas to his friends, they all started to laugh like a bunch of lunatics before the screen glitched out as all of the smiling critters except CatNap (Who is sitting on the couch and stared at the viewer in a creepy way) were all lying on the floor and not even moving at all as they seems to be nothing but withered husks of their former selves.

Y/n was dumbfounded by what he just witnessed as he has not seen something like this before in a kid's cartoon.

Y/n then continued staring at the TV screen as CatNap started at the camera like he is staring at Y/n's own soul after the credits stopped rolling and eventually the Smiling Critters that became withered husks suddenly got up and looked at Y/n with that same look on their happy looking faces as things are starting to go crazy, but Y/n doesn't see what's wrong and just brushed it off like it's nothing.

Then suddenly, the Smiling Critters suddenly disappeared from the couch, which is making things go from bad to worse from here.

Y/n: Hey! Where did they go?! Is this part of the episode or what, cause I'm starting to think that I might have used too much of power that might have brought them to life.

Then without warning, the red smoke from the show is starting to come out from the TV as if the Smiling Critters are actually coming out of the TV like in the horror movie, The Ring. Then the whole room went into darkness for a moment, freaking Y/n out, not knowing of what's going to happen next if the red smoke gets into his lungs.

Y/n: Am I gonna die? Ok....ok....just stay calm and everything will be...(Then the lights came back on with the Smiling Critters surrounding him and CatNap is right in front of him.) Ok-Aaha! What the hell?! What's going on here!!

Then CatNap spewed out his sleeping gas right at Y/n's face with the Smiling Critters laughing like a bunch of lunatics as Y/n slowly started to pass out from the sleeping gas as this is just the beginning of a Never-Ending Nightmare.
