.: Six's P.o.V. :.

Six ran.

Beads of sweat slowly trickled down the side of her face, her breath out of order and panted for air. Six's heart beated twice as faster than before, and every inch of her body buzzed with adrenaline.

With one foot to the next, she dashed her way away from who or what she was running from. Her eyes darted around her surroundings; it was dark but she managed to see with a bit of light thanks to the fan vents, that the big vent had metal walls and it continued to creak and crank like it swayed side to side. Six heard her feet patter on cold puddles on the metal floor.

Granting from the looks of her surroundings, she was in the Maw.

Six continued her way, at some point she nearly slipped but managed to regain her balance. Far ahead, there was a silhouette of a girl as the same height as Six.

Six stopped running and stared at the girl. She squinted her eyes to get a better look at the girl. All Six knew was that her back faced Six and she wore something with a hood, since she didn't saw her head and it was shaped like the hood of her raincoat.

The big vent continued to creak and Six shivered out of fear. What happened to the thing that was chasing her?...

The girl must've noticed Six's presence since it turned it's head to the side, slowly, the girl turned to face Six. Six's heart beated faster than a rabbit being chased and her head pounded badly as she familiarized the girl infront of her.

"Hello Six," Shadow Six grinned ear to ear. Six placed two fingers on the temple of her forehead, she's been getting headaches anytime Shadow Six was near and it has been painful, like someone had a jackhammer and drilled Six's head.

"Shadow Six, what do you want again?" Six asked, her voice ehoing through the vents. It has been two years after The Incident, and still, Shadow Six lingers.

"Just wanting to drop by and check in on you. Seems like you feel that this is the end of the story, that everything will be fine from now on," Shadow Six said as she stepped closer to Six and Six stepped back cautiously.

"Isn't it, Shadow Six? I have no problems in my life - aside you - why are you still here?" Six asked.

Shadow Six looked around the big vent they were in, "Look at this world. It has endless disharmony, fear, despair... But yours, it contains beauty, peace, and wonderful things many would want to destroy."

Six frowned, "And what do you want from my world?"

"To destroy that peace," Shadow Six answered as she faced Six again, that irritating grin still plastered on her face and Six wished to slap it off her ash colored face.

"This is what you owe me, a ticket to your world... And my possibility to wreck havoc," Shadow Six said while giggling and spreading her arms wide.

"Without me, you wouldn't survive The Incident. You and your friends would've died. Yet I dare you to try and stop me, we'll see who'll be able to last longer," Shadow Six lowered her arms and snapped her fingers on one hand.

Six looked around as the void was now filled with fog, it clouded her sight yet she still manage to see Shadow Six's figure. The fog made it's way around Six and tried to strangle her.

Six coughed, nearly stumbling yet she found her footing quickly. She covered her mouth not stop the fog from blocking her airway.

"Even if you try to end me Shadow Six, you are the parasite here," Six rasped and she heard Shadow Six sigh, mayhap out of annoyance.

"We'll see," she only said.

The fog became thicker and thicker that whatever Six saw was misty. Slowly Shadow Six's figure left from the fog, but before it fully did, Six swore she saw a tall figure standing beside Shadow Six.

"And FYI, I'm not the only one in your head," Shadow Six said and now completly dissapated into the fog. The other figure stayed, Six didn't saw it, but she felt it's stare.

A low roar came out and two long arms lashed to grab Six.

"Six!"

Six's eyes snapped open as she took in deep breaths. She felt beads of sweat on her forehead. She felt warmth and comfort all around her and she noticed that she was in Seven's arms.

It was the last brink of the summer months before school starts again. The whole months Six did was hang out with Twenty-Three. Dates with Seven. Trying not to get over-hungry. Hang outs with all three of them. Mess with Mono and tease about the small fact he kept blushing more lately especially around Twenty-Three - and from that small fact Six started shipping them too (although no one can beat the Great Monee Fanboy Seven).

Seven: I own that title as the Great Monee Fanboy, fIGHT ME

Author: uhm yeah... Seven... before you... I OWN THE GREAT MONEE FAN TITLE

Seven: TRY ME.

Ordinary and normal best friend/girlfriend things a girl like Six would do.

Now, Six managed to let Seven stay over at her house for the night. He didn't mind, neither did Six's parents who are now back from their long business trips and meetings - they actually liked Seven (even Six's Dad... Well... He did let Seven off with a warning).

They didn't even mind that Seven would be sleeping in her bedroom, well... Her father did react just a tiny bit, he shouted, "JUST NO FUNNY BUSINESS!" before he fully got dragged away thanks to Six's mom.

Six took a moment to breath, she looked up to Seven and saw him looking at her. His bangs were swept to the side and his blue eyes studied Six with worry filled in those ocean hues.

Seven cupped his hand on Six's cheek, "Hey," he said and Six pursed her lips while leaning close from his touch, "Hey," she mumbled.

"Are you okay? You were having a fit while you were sleeping," Seven asked as Six frowned, sighing and placed her hand on top of Seven's hand, "Just some nightmares, I'm fine," she said.

Seven frowned nervously, she gazed up to his face to see him slightly unconvinced. Six sighed, "Sev don't give me that look, I am fine," she said and Seven tried a smile, still nervous and a bit doubtful "If you say so," he mumbled.

Six smiled lightly and leaned close, pecking Seven's lips quickly, "I know so."

Seven lifted his hand and hugged Six, Six hugged back. She closed her eyes and took in his scent, which smelled like the ocean for some reason. It calmed Six down, the nightmare quickly heading to the back of her mind, ignored. Like any other day, they'd just end up cuddling and head back to sleep.

That was until Six and Seven's phones pinged, the notification sound chimed in at the same time. Six ignored that, being in Seven's arms was better than check what ever text was that.

Text was that....

Text...

Group chat...

Group...

Mono and Twenty-Three...

Sh*t, Six silently cussed in her mind as she finally realized how important that notification would be. A few days ago she hanged out with Twenty-Three and talked about the beach. They both agreed that they head to the nearby beach and chill off before school starts.

Six leaned back, wiggling around to the left, where her bedside table stood with her phone on the top. Seven grumbled through his throat, "What are you doing Six?" He asked groggily. Six didn't answer and Seven just headed back to half-sleep state. Six reached out and grabbed her phone, from the lock screen the time was 10:45 A.M. and a text from Twenty-Three.

| Six's Phone |

.: TT :.

Twenty-Three

SIIIIIIIIIIIIXXXXX when are you coming to the beach?!

Six

Soon. I just woke up.

Twenty-Three

Seriously??? What are you even doing that you stayed up late?

Wait. Nvm, you were probably cuddling (if you know what I mean ;)) with Seven alllll night ;)

Six

Just shut up. I'll be on the way.

Twenty-Three

Bet you are still on the bed when you typed that.

Six

Stfu.

Twenty-Three

Meaning I am right, oh well. See ya soon :D

Six

Yeah, c ya TT

| Fin! |

Six rested her phone on the bed and wiggled once again in Seven's arms to face him, "Hey, hey wake up, I gotta stand up," she said while patting Seven's cheek. Seven groaned, "Noo let's stay like this," he said, his eyes shut tight.

Six pouted, "C'mon you don't wanna hang out with your bro or swim in the ocean?" She said and Seven lowered his arms around Six and wiped his eyes, "Argh fine," he whined while sitting up straight and scratching his head, "My swimsuit's at home though. Oh and Mono would probably be too busy gawking at Twenty-Three and her swimsuit to hang out with me," he joked stretching his arms and back.

Six rolled her eyes and snickered as she sat up straight too, "Well someone is getting jelous," she sarcastically said and Seven snickered back, "Hm yeah whatever you say," he answered while standing up and grabbing his phone.

There was a knock on Six's door and she turned to the door as it opened and Six's mom peeked in, "Oh you two are awake now," she smiled, "I prepared some brunch for you two."

Six nodded, "Thanks Mom, we'll head down soon," she said and her mother nodded and took a step back, Six swore she saw her father peeking in the back of the hall before she closed it.

"Welp, my brother just texted me he wanted to head to the beach. Coincidence? I think not," Seven said as he walked up to the door where Six stood. Six turned to him, "Want some bruch before leaving?" She asked and Seven nodded, "Yes please," he said while opening the door, moving aside and gesturing for Six to exit first like a true gentleman.

"Ladies first," he smile and Six chortled, doing a small bow, "Thank you kind sir," she said and went on out. Seven following and closing the door behind him. Six turned to the hall where her parent's bedroom was and did saw her father peeking from the corner, glaring at Seven before Six's mom pulled him away, waving at Six to go.

Six smiled as she and Seven went down and headed into the kitchen were on the marble counter was freshly cooked waffles. Six's stomach lightly grumbled and she quickly went to get a peice before her stomach grumbled louder, making her weak and... you know what would happen next.

She sat down on the counter table and Seven sat beside her. They ate together and there was another ping from Seven's phone. Six turned to her and Seven turned to her, "Felix is asking if we would like ride out in his car, taken that would be better rather than walking all the way to the beach," he said.

Six nodded, "Sure. Felix is cool and funny to hang out with."

"Well okay," Seven said while quickly sent a message and ate another waffle, "You really like hanging out with my family," Seven pointed out.

Six shrugged, "They are fun to be with. And plus, they already treat me like an in-law from how we act," she said while eating another waffle clean with only four bites.

Seven silently choked and Six saw a light blush come dusted his cheeks, "Uh, y-yeah... After all. Huh I am still fazed when anyone brings that up," he said and Six giggled, leaning closer and pecking Seven's cheek, "Sure, whatever you say my future husband."

After the words left Six's mouth Seven blushed redder. He cleared his throat and quickly took another bite from his waffle, Six laughed, "Seriously you are so cute when you're flustered."

"Hey, am not," Seven faced her while playfully glaring, Six grinned, "Yes you are."

"Nope."

"Yes."

"Nah-ah."

"Uh-huh."

"Nopity no."

"Yesity yes."

"We're just gonna keep this on forever huh?"

"Not until you agree," Six shrugged.

"I will never," Seven said while taking another bite from his waffle.

"Suuuuuuure my cutie."

"Hmp, fine. I'll let that slide cuz I am your cutie. But you're my cutie too."

"Well I am out and proud about that. As long as I am yours."

"And I am yours."

Six giggled while resting her head on Seven's shoulder and took another waffle, eating it once again with only four bites. Seven whistled, "Dang, you beat your record of five bites before finishing a waffle."

"Fear my skills," Six said jokingly and Seven chuckled, "Yes I do, oh great eater," he said while bowing from his seat.

Six laughed, seriously any time she's with Seven everything gets a whole lot better. And they can joke about her hunger lightly, even they both know how serious it is. Unfortunately Six's parents doesn't know about it, and Six doesn't know how to tell them.

Oh well, Six smiled lightly, one day I am sure I would.

==================

Seven quickly went back home to change and stuff, Six headed back upstairs and into her bathroom, quickly freshing up. After washing her face and brushing her teeth she went on out and opened her cabinet.

After two years Six's room quickly changed. She moved her new bed to the centre of the room, her desk was by the window, her cabinet beside the door, and new drawings hung at the wall. Some still had those weird eye and mostly others came from Six's dreams.

For example, Six drew a bird with a thorn in it's side. Six felt much liking to that drawing, probably since the way she drew it looked good.

Six went on back to picking out her clothes and picked out her yellow one peice she got with semi long sleeves. The sleeves were full yellow while the body part was printed with white flowers, it was a nice pick.

Six wore her one peice, covering it over with shorts and a white lacey cardigan. She pulled out a bag and stuffed all the things she would need, especially sun screen.

Combing her hair and flattening it out, Six grabbed the bag and headed out, walking downstairs, she peeked in the living room to see her parents watching T.V.

"Six, where are you going?" Six's father called out before Six quietly sneaked out. She blinked and faced him, who was looking at her, "Er I am gonna go to the beach with my friends! Seven's brother gonna take us there," she said and her father nodded.

"Hm, okay. Have fun," he said and Six's mother turned to her, "And be safe!"

Six nodded, "Yup! I will! Bye, Mom, Dad!" She waved them off as she walked down the hall, opening the door and heading out to the front yard. Outside the gate Six saw Felix's car zip by and parked just in front of the gate, Seven headed out from the passenger seat. He was wearing black swimming trunks and a loose blue cotton shirt, "Hey beautiful. Ready for a day on the beach?" He said while leaning over the gate.

Six snickered while opening the gate and closing it behind her, "Oh yes I am, handsome," she teased.

Six heard someone groan and she looked to see Felix poking out from the window, "Please, save your teases for later and hop in," he said.

Seven shrugged and opened the back passenger seat, Six smiled and headed inside, Seven heading inside next.

Felix started the car, "Well to the beach we go," he said before the car zoomed past the streets.
