.: Six's P.o.V. :.
The T.V.'s whir still peirced Six's ears, her body felt numb and she couldn't feel anything. All she could remember was the shadow children shoving Seven and her to a static whirring TV and she blacked out after that. Her body get like it weighted a ton, and her head ached so much.
She opened her eyes to see she was in some dark void. Lying on what seemed to be a pavement. Which was odd, she blacked out and now she is having a dream again? At least this time, she could feel it was a dream. Unlike those other two times Shadow Six came terrorizing her subconcious state.
Six stood up, and explored her dream. She looked around to see it suddenly creating figures, shapes, and colors. It looked like the City, and the Signal Tower was poking out from the light blue buildings. Being the only black building from the other monochrome and dull colors.
She seemed to be in an alley, and Six walked on.
Until...
"Hey! Over here!"
Six perked up from the familiar voice, she turned to see a famailiar figure in the shadows, motioning for her to come closer. She did, but the figure ran when she got closer.
"Quick! I have to show you this!"
"Where are you taking me?" Six asked while chasing the fast running figure. They were a quick runner, Six had to say. The figure suddenly stopped when they reached the darkest part in the alley and turned to her, they seemed to be thinking of something else before smiling, or seem to smile, "To what you really must be."
Six stopped, "What?"
Suddenly a TV turned open, Six stepped back afriad it might suck her in, but the TV only whirred, that static sound peircing her ears. Six stumbled to the ground and she felt queasy.
"Stop that! Turn it off!"
The figure walked out the shadows, the hood covering their face. But Six recognized the cloak. The figure giggled, "You are aware you turn to a monster, Six?"
Six just stared at the girl infront of her with fear, "What do you mean... What are you talking about Twenty-Three?!"
Twenty-Three, who oddly does not act like Twenty-Three, shrugged. Skipping to the TV and causing the static noise to get worst, Six winced and fell on to her knees.
"Quit that!" Six yelled.
Twenty-Three huffed, "Oh shut up Six. This is all part of my master plan! After this... I'll also get Seven and Mono. Nothing can stop the worlds from colliding!" She said.
Six frowned, "You're not Twenty-Three, aren't you?"
"Hmmm maybe, maybe not," She said and a sing-song voice and turned the knob of the TV, the whirs got worst and Six stumbled to the ground. Her body shaking and she could see the dark magic swirling around her.
"Bring that monster out of you, could ya?" Twenty-Three smirked while stepping back. Six winced, trying not to close her eyes but failed miserably. She heard a bellowing roar before she blacked out.
She did this me. She betrayed me. It was all her fault.
"Hey Six, hey get up! Are you okay? Six!" Six heard Seven say while shaking her, she groaned and opened her eyes, Seven was looking down on her with worry, "Are you alright?"
"Uhm yeah," Six said while pushing herself up, Seven held on her arm and helped her up. She looked around to see they were in a grassy feild, and it was dark, she saw a TV that whirred behind them. She inched away, scared of what it could do, she watched the static screen whir before it turned off for good.
Seven glimpsed at her face, "Are you okay?" Six hesitantly nodded while clearing her throat, "I feel fine," she said. The nightmare she had before blacking out still haunting the back of her mind and now she was questioning about Twenty-Three.
Was that dream warning her about something that could happen? That in the near future Twenty-Three would be evil? She remembered what that sort of prophecy Shadow Six gave her... The Songbird must sing her last swan song. Obviously the Songbird is Twenty-Three, the swan song could mean lots of things apparently; but that doesn't help to add facts about that dream she had, where Twenty-Three seemed off.
Seven looked at her with that concerned face before nodding slowly, "If you say so."
"Uh, where are we anyways?" Six asked, Seven shrugged while letting go of Six's arm, "I don't know, but I'm pretty sure we went farther away from that broken down shack," Seven said, "Should we get going? Being here in plain sight could get us caught," he said while holding out his hand for Six to take.
Six nodded, "Sure," she said while accepting his hand. Together they walked past the grassy feild. It was dark, so Seven pulled out his flashlight and lit the way. The wind blew and sent shivers down Six's spine, causing the tips of her hair to stand up.
Six looked around, it seemed like the plains went on forever. Well that was when she saw a cabin in the corner of her eye, which seemed unoccupied.
"Hey Seven, over there. Want to check it out?" she said while pointing to the cabin, Seven stared at the cabin before nodding, "Well, there is nothing here aside from that so why not?" He said.
Six nodded, "Okay then," she said they both walked up to the cabin. The cabin looked unoccupied, and Six hoped it was. They climbed up the stairs to the porch, there was a back door and a window. The back door was closed, but the window was open. There was a crate near the window and they climbed over it, and entered the cabin.
They landed down to a dimly lit kitchen. The door at the end of the kitchen was slightly open, and a pot on the table with flies swarming around it. Six's nose scrunched up in disgust when she smelt the rotten meat coming from the pot.
"That kinda reminds me back af the kitchen in the Maw," Seven mumbled and Six chuckled, "At least that pot had something cooking in it," she said.
Suddenly, there was a loud thud coming from the other side of the door, followed with some loud talking - yet it didn't sound like fighting. Six and Seven jolted from the sound. They looked at each other before carefully creeping to the kitchen door.
Six and Seven peeked out the door to see a hallway and on the other end was a small lounge. Standing there was two figures, one was sitting on the single couch, and the other was facing to them.
Six felt chills run down her spine when she saw how familiar that figure was. She looked at Seven and he looked as surprised as she did. Well, they didn't kill him that time in the Incident, so of course he would be alive, yet had only one arm.
It was the Janitor.
Now things were different, they were in the Nightmare Realm - or as those dolls said so. That Janitor wouldn't be a mix of their janitor in the Real World, but the true scary cold monster Six knew in her nightmares.
"You've got those kids, Hunter?" The Janitor asked.
"I'm tryin', but still I'm gettin' nothin'. Those dollies are tryin' too, but damn, they let 'em escape multiple times," the Hunter replied.
"What's up with that world - or as the Broadcaster says it, 'Real World'? It got all these trouble in my hands I've haven't heard much," The Hunter wondered.
"Aside all that people we have managed to be caught? Things are going alright. More food, more money, and probably I'll finally get a decent pay," the Janitor rasped, then sniffed the air, frowning as he did so.
"What the hell is in your kitchen Hunter? It smells like rotten meat," he grumbled, the Hunter scoffed, "I thought you'd be used to those kinds of smell, Janitor," he bluntly pointed out.
If the Janitor could see, he was glaring at the Hunter, "Well yours smells much worse than those I've smelled, much worse," he said.
The Hunter stood up from the single sofa, "Well that reminds me I gotta check the meat, I was going to make food for Anklebiter for it. If he ever comes back from whatever the shadow children used him for," he said and turned to the hallway.
Six and Seven quickly scrambled back, "Okay, time to run," Seven whispered. They quickly ran for the window, but the Hunter footsteps was getting closer so Six just pulled Seven's sleeve and hid under the table.
The Hunter opened the door wide and they inched into the shadows of the table. The Hunter stood over the table and picked out the pot, then opened the back door. The two waited until he was gone before slowly stepping out of the table.
But seems like fortune wasn't in their favor since the Janitor came in as well. Of course he can't see, but still he could sense them so they just inched around him.
The Janitor was about to exit from the back door when he paused and sniffed the air, Six gave Seven just one look and the both ran as silently as they could to the door. The Janitor shrugged, "Maybe it's rats," he mumbled while walking out as well.
They passed the hall and to the lounge, "We should find a way to get out of this place," Seven said and Six rolled her eyes, "You don't say."
Seven smiled at her sarcastic remark while rolling his eyes, "Let's find the front exit," he said and Six nodded. Together they walked past the hall, there was another room which was the dining room. They went in and froze on what they saw.
Three stuffed corpses that seemed to look like a little family. All their heads bowed down to their also rotten food which flies feasted upon. The stuffed corpses didn't look as fine either, their skin was wrinkling and drooped down, young boy even had his eye drooping down from the eye socket.
"How the Hunter would live in a house with dead people is far from my wildest guesses," Six said while looking over to the lightly rotting corpses, there was also a little stench in them, Six guessed the Hunter haven't at least stuffed them well.
"Well seems like the Hunter doesn't eat alone," Seven mumbled under his breath and Six rolled her eyes at him, "Yeah, what is better than eating with three stuffed people?" She said while looking around, and spotted an open vent above a shelf.
"Over there, maybe there is an exit on the other side," she said and Seven nodded, "Lead the way."
Six hopped onto the table, igoring the foul smelling fly infested food on the table that could make her throw up, or the stuffed corpses, and to the shelf. She waited until Seven caught up with her before passing through the vent and falling down.
There was another door, but unfortunately it was locked. She could see a lever dangling for the ceiling, which was no doubt a ladder to the attic. Seeing that the Hunter and the Janitor were outside, and there was no keys in the living room, the key would be in the attic.
Six heard Seven jump down from the vent and she turned to him, "Help me up the lever," she said. Seven nodded, "Sure," he said while looking up to the lever, he crouched down and locked his hands together like before. Six stepped on it and Seven pushed her up, she grabbed the lever and Seven grabbed onto her leg, causing the lever to pull down and open the attic ladder.
They climbed up, there is plenty of boxes, suitcases, drawers, and cabinets in the attic. There was a drawer ahead but it was too tall, Six looked over to the suitcase and started pushing it, but it as too heavy. Seven joined in and they both pushed it to the drawer.
They climbed up and headed over to the other side. There was a body bag, a single window where dim light emitted through, and more boxes, shelves, and cabinets. "Hey look, there is the key," Seven pointed out while looking up. Six looked up and saw the key on the hook, slightly glinting from the dim light.
She looked over to the body bag, which was near to the hook if lifted. But the crank was missing. "Hm, the crank must be in the other side, wait here," Seven said before climbing up the drawer and reaching the other side before Six could respond.
Soon Seven went out with a crank at hand, he thrown it down and Six quickly grabbed it and placed it in the pulley. Seven shuddered once he went down, "There was another of those stuffed people in the other side, might be his grandmother or something... This Hunter really got some taxidermy fetish," he mumbled.
Six imagined a rotting old stuffed woman on the other side, probably sitting on a chair. She shivered, "Okay climb on the body bag, I'll pull it up," she said.
Seven nodded and climbed on, Six rotated the crank until it reached where the key was. Seven grabbed onto the hook and it swung, until the key fell down. He let go and landed safely, Six grabbed the key, "Okay we got this so let's go, I don't want to see another of those stuffed people."
"Agreed," Seven said as he pulled open the drawer shelf and hopped back to the other side, and carefully climbed down. They looked around warily to make sure the two monsters weren't there before walking to the lock. Six put it in and turned the key, unlocking the door and it opened.
They headed out and saw another cabin, a smaller one beside it, and more trees up ahead. Honestly a forest with wolves and doll children was better than a guy with a gun and a guy who has a long arm and has a nose like a dog.
They carefully crawled on out. They peeked around, but saw there was no other pet animals the Hunter had, but they could hear footsteps nearby from the other side of the house, the Hunter's voice quite far, but he was calling for his pet.
Well, that was until the Janitor showed up, again. Six and Seven froze, and quickly backed away from the stout monster. Unfortunately, this time the Janitor was sure he smelled something odd, he sniffed and heard rythmic footsteps slowly backing away.
He suddenly roared, "I know that scent!" He growled and ran for the two.
Six and Seven jolted, before looking at each other, one word in mind, run.
"Eh what are you talkin bout?" The Hunter asked, showing up behind the Janitor, but the Janitor was chasing them now. The Hunter then noticed the two running away, "Oh bloody hell- I'm getting my lantern!" The Hunter said while running up to the shed and quickly grabbing a lantern and also a rifle, then chased the two as well.
"Oh just great," Seven muttered.
