.: Mono P.o.V. :.

Mono screamed as he felt himself fall. Just after Six fell into one of the holes that sprouted out of nowhere back at the school ground, other shadow children grabbed Seven, Twenty-Three, and his feet then dragged them into different holes.

The hole was dark, and Mono swore he could see that the darkness was swirling agitatedly. The grasp on his ankle got tighter and Mono reached down trying to break free, yet only made whatever was holding him hold on tighter. Mono winced when he felt nails dug into his skin and he let go, still falling down to who-knows-where.

The swirling things giggled and reached out to Mono. He could feel their icy cold hands sweep to his arms and face. The darkness was slowly enveloping him if he doesn't find a way to leave this place. Mono looked down, yet it was only dark even if he squinted his eyes to see better. The only things he did see was himself and the shadowy swirls and hands that reached out for him.

Where does it lead to anyways?

Author: It leads to Wonderland--

The hand still gripped on Mono's ankle and dragged him down. Everything seems to be pushing down deeper into this dark hole. The shadows continued to whisper and giggle, making Mono's hair stand up on edge.

Beware her.

You'll get hurt.

Don't be deceived by her.

Mono shook his head and ignored the whispers. They it seemed to grow closer the farther he fell, all clawing his legs and arms. All whispering into his ear. They didn't sound like talking to him, yet still they continued their conversation close to his ear. It was both scary and irritating.

What sad life you had.

You HAVE. Not had idiot!

Well they are the same. Other he and he are the same.

Well they ARE the same p-e-r-s-o-n!

Oh look this shadow idiot knows how to spell!

Mono pushed the whispers away, he doesn't understand most of their conversation. The grip on his ankle suddenly jerked him down, tossing him into the abyss. Mono screamed once again before he passed out, the whispers dying down once Mono lost conciousness.

==================

Mono gasped as he jerked up. Which was a bad thing to do since his head pounded badly like some hammer slammed onto his brain. Once the headache lessened a bit, Mono noticed his paperbag was messed and he quickly fixed it, he blinked a bit before scanned his surroundings. Then let out a small gasp.

He was in a forest, in the dark. The moonlight peirced through the thin branches, there was so much leaves on the ground that it covered most of Mono's body. What was weird that it reminded Mono of the forest in his nightmares, even back at the Incident. Yet this felt time times scary and ten times real.

The wind breezed past and Mono slightly shivered, from both the cold and in fear. He took a deep breath and stood up, brushing the leaves and the dust off his clothes. Now that Mono noticed it, his clothes changed a bit. He was wearing his trenchcoat, yet his shirt and pants have changed from the uniform he wore before he fell that hole - not to mention he was barefoot too.

Probably something happened while I fell that hole, Mono mused while brushing a dried up leaf off his shoulder and looking around the eerie forest, But... Where am I?

He did one more glace at the Forest around him before picking out a direction that leads to no particular place. Mono walked on to a direction, it was better to keep moving - you never know when the trees would start moving or gain eyes.

Mono was glad that there was moonlight dimly lighting the Forest. So it wasn't that scary and helped him see the fallen logs that he might trip on like that time Seven and Six thought it was funny to prank him, in the dark, in a forest last year when they went camping (Twenty-Three did nothing about it and stayed a bystander on that prank).

Mono frowned, the thought of his friends made him worried. Where could they fallen? Are they okay? Or where they got transported to somewhere else? There was so much questions, and there wasn't anyone to give Mono the answers.

He huffed while crouching down, sneaking under the log that has fallen halfway. If they all got transported here, did they also fall from this place? Pretty sure Six would do something by now or probably found Seven. What about... Twenty-Three? She fell too after all.

Mono shook his head, they are probably alright. Hopefully. Hypothetically. They managed the Incident, all they had to do is find each other and figure everything out.

There was a twig snap and it made Mono snap out of his deep thoughts. He looked around, eyeing from the trees to the branches and to the bushes.

After the snap came the crunching of dried leaves, Mono turned to the direction of the sound, it came from afar yet it sounded like it was coming close to where he stood. Mono took a deep breath and hid behind some bushes, he heard more crunching and snaps of the dried leaves and twigs until he saw the figure... no, figures of children.

Mono carefully inched closer to get a better look, he saw five of the figures. From the looks of them they looked like doll students, they creaked, head tilting around aimlessly. One of them held a sack, Mono noticed that the sack was big enough for him to fit in.

"Can't believe Bill's team lost TWO of the wanted children," the doll student holding the sack said.

Mono jolted, he never heard the doll children talk. It sounded creepy, like those voices in a doll movie came to life and went inside the throats of the doll children, that's how they sound like.

"Bill let the doubt in his head again. Better not be like that, Pol," another doll children said, which sounded gruffer than the other one.

The doll holding the sack, Pol, laughed while lowering the sack to the ground, "Of course not! Unlike some dolls - I have faith on our Puppeteer, Ollie," he said and the other doll that spoke, Ollie, nodded, "We all do."

Mono furrowed his eyebrows, Who is the Puppeteer?

"Wasn't she called some kind of bird right?" Another of the dolls wondered out loud with their high squeaky voice. Pol shook his head, "You are thinking about the child the Puppeteer managed to control over, making doll making quicker after the Joker died - whom is one of the best doll/puppet makers around here, aside the Dollmaker himself. The Puppeteer is the curse living in the said child," he explained.

"Oh, okay," the other doll nodded.

The Joker... Mono remembered that name. Twenty-Three was held captive by that crazy doll puppet making ringleader for his creepy Circus. It would be good he's dead here, so that Twenty-Three wouldn't be kidnapped if Mono ever finds her or she finds him.

Could the Puppeteer be connected to anyone from back at the Circus? Mono doesn't know much about that anyway, if only Twenty-Three was here she could probably tell him about it.

But wait, they all split up in some random world - again.

"Anyways," Pol said while looking around, "The Puppeteer said that her friend's minions made one of them land nearby, let's not lose who ever they are like what Bill did," he said and the four nodded. Mono guessed that they were talking about him and well, sad that they lost him even before they found him.

He waited for the dolls to disappear into the darkness of the Forest before crawling out of the bushes. He waited for any sign or sound that the doll students were coming back. When there wasn't any noise or movement Mono moved on, heading once again to no particular destination.

That was, when he saw a glow in the dark.

It was far from him and Mono thought he was imagining things, until the orange glow came back and swayed back and forth - like a lamp. It wasn't too high or too bright, so it wasn't the Hunter's lamp.

Mono caefully walked on to the light, it continued to slowly walk on. When he got almost near, Mono stopped. What if it was some doll students or shadow-- No shadow children would die from the light. But... what if...

Mono accidentaly snapped a branch and tripped into a bush that quickly covered him. Mono hit the ground and silently chided himself, way to go sneaky.

"Who's there?"

Mono's eyes widened when he realized who's voice that was. Of course it would be her oil lamp. He slowly rose his head and saw the light walking up to he bush he was hiding in, he pushed himself up and out of the bush to see the one and only Twenty-Three.

There was many things Mono noticed and that first, her clothes didn't change much. She now wore her mint green hoodie and demin pants (odd since last time she wore a mint green cloak). Her hood was up and covered most of her upper half in the shadows. Then next was the umbrella slung over her belt like some sword.

Twenty-Three lowered her oil lamp and grinned, "Mono!" She gasped relieved while jumping up and hugging him. Mono felt his cheeks flare up again, but he returned the hug. His heart skipped a beat when Twenty-Three hughed him tighter.

Oh gosh he felt blushing too red. Darn this feelings.

Yes you read it, after TWO years, that was a lot of thinking that Mono (like finally) knew about his huge feelings over Twenty-Three. The sickness called love made it worser about each day. Now he just acts ignorant about it to avoid teases from the two lovebirds known as Six and Seven - he still got the teases either way.

"Glad I found you," she said while parting from the hug, Mono blinked, "Um no, I found you. I saw your lamp from about a few miles away."

"But you tripped," Twenty-Three pointed out bluntly and Mono rolled his eyes, "Accidents happen," he said and Twenty-Three rose - or seem to rose since he could hardly see her face - her eyebrow, "Suuuuure. Accidents."

There was another set of creaking and Twenty-Three turned to the source of the sound then pulled Mono down with her into the bushes. She turned off her oil lamp and soon the creaking came closer. Mono careully peeked out to see the same set of doll students from before show up.

"Where is she?!" Pol said while looking around then looking back at Ollie, "You were sure you saw a lamp light?!" He asked and Ollie nodded.

"Of course! Looks the same as the one our," Ollie paused, "captive has," he said and Pol huffed while scanning the forest, "We can't let them get away! The Puppeteer will kill us if we don't bring back at least one of those four!"

"Well I just heard Bill and his team are now looking for the two he lost. Probably we should do the same," a small doll piped in and Pol turned to them before nodding, "Hm, that is good. C'mon!" He said before walking away.

Mono waited for the doll students to leave yet again before they left. Once hey were gone Mono sighed out and stood up, Twenty-Three crawling out of the bushes and brushing off the leaves, "They nearly caught me just a while ago," she sighed out and lowered her hood.

"Probably from your lamp light, I mean the doll just said it himself," Mono pointed out and Twenty-Three rolled her eyes sarcastically, "Very funny," she smiled and Mono blushed, why is her smile so cute?!

"I-I am just sayin," Mono stammered and mentally faceplamed from stammering. Twenty-Three snickered and started laughing, silently of course (again, cute laugh that made Mono blush redder but ugh- whatever), "Sure. Well we should head off and find the other two before the dolls would," Twenty-Three pursed her lips, "And once again figure out what world is this and how to get out of here."

Mono blinked and slightly sighed through his nose, "Brings back memories doesn't it?" He said while pushing past the bushes, Twenty-Three huffed her bangs to the side, "The worst kind," she said while turning on her oil lamp.

"Make sure the light won't attract any more of those dolls," Mono said and Twenty-Three rolled her eyes, "Make sure you won't trip and fall in a bush loudly," she smirked and walked off.

Mono gasped before smirking, "Ohhhh, that stung," he said and Twenty-Three shrugged, "Then sting."

Mono's jaw drop and Twenty-Three giggled, "One point for me!" She said while walking off and Mono quickly followed.
