Pomni was laying flat on her bed, wide awake. Images of the exit door were flurrying around her head, driving her mad.

The sun began to rise, if you could call it that. Caine was really just trying to get her to move. The point is, the sun was up, and with a groan, Pomni rolled out of bed, and went to her blue and red closet, picked out another copy of her outfit from yesterday, her first day, and headed down to the main area of The Tent.

Today was her second day at the circus. Her first day has been... Less than ideal, so she was hoping today would be better.

Pomni swore she saw an exit door, it was right up in her face, but then she blinked, and it was gone.

The others soon came down to the tackily checkered floor of the main area. Ragatha took a seat at the conveniently placed breakfast table, followed by the others and Pomni.

The multicolored jester found herself staring at the ragdoll for an unusually long period of time, admiring her, before snapping back to reality.

After breakfast was over with, everyone sat and waited for Caine to get there.

Pomni walked over to Ragatha, to try and talk to her about yesterday.

"H-Hey, Ragatha..." Pomni stuttered, although she didn't know why.

"Hey Pomni, what's up?" The ragdoll questioned curiously.

"I j-just wanted to say I'm sorry for yesterday... I didn't want to leave you, b-but my temptation got the better of me, and you could've gotten seriously hurt because of it..." Pomni finished, looking away with a darkened expression.

Ragatha had a worried expression on her face, and she extended a hand to turn Pomni's head back towards her. Pomni was severely flustered, but she was trying her best to hide it.

"Hey, listen. I get it. The first days are tough. I know that you didn't mean to hurt me. Things will get better." Ragatha explained with a soft smile, which Pomni returned, still a bit flustered.

"T-Thanks..." The jester whispered.

"No problem, new stuff."

Caine interrupted the moment, popping into the scene unannounced, as always.

Pomni thought she saw a door behind him, but tried to convince herself it was just her brain playing tricks on itself.

Jax sighed heavily. "Alright, what's the 'adventure' for today, big eyes?" He glared at the ringleader.

"Yeah, what is it?" Questioned a newly restored comedy-mask Gangle.

"Today's adventure will be..." Caine began.

"Ballistic Bats!" He exclaimed. Zooble groaned.

"What's wrong? Pomni asked the blocky character.

"Ballistic Bats is basically where we have to go into a dark cave to catch a bunch of crazy bats." Zooble sighed.

"D-Did you say dark?" Pomni squeaked.

"Yep. Dark and scary!" Jax joked.

"Jax, don't be mean!" Ragatha defended Pomni, who was grateful for it.

"Come now, to The Cave!" Caine exclaimed. Kinger was already hobbling after him. Pomni sighed and trailed behind.

Pomni swore she saw at least five exit doors on the way to the cave.

The mind shenanigans are overwhelming. She thought to herself.

"Here we are, at The Cave! Find and capture all the bats and put them in this cage, and you all go free! There's no time limit, so take as much as you need!" Caine explained, pointing to a magical cage. Big surprise.

"Let's just get this over with..." Zooble grumbled. Pomni nodded in agreement, and tentatively crept into the cave.

Jax was walking just in front of Ragatha, and decided he wanted to be a jerk to Pomni.

The purple rabbit crept up on the small jester and was about to startle her when he felt a hand on his shoulder.

Ragatha stopped him in his tracks, mouthed the word 'no', and whispered in his ear; "Scare whoever you want, Jax, but she's off-limits."

Jax simply shrugged with his typical wide-mouthed grin." Alright, if that's what you want." He said with a wink.

Ragatha looked at Pomni. She was still tense, but the ragdoll was glad Jax hadn't made it worse. She smiled, her cheeks dusted with a bit of pink.

The six of them continued into the cave, until they finally found the huge clearing with bats flying everywhere. The whole thing was only lit by some mushrooms here and there.

The cage had magically teleported with them, so it was time to get to work.

Pomni looked around as the others got to work. Jax simply plucked a bat out of the air, and brought it back to the cage.

Ragatha was having more struggles, but she was still managing. Pomni felt compelled to go and help her.

Gangle was trying and failing to catch a bat, while Kinger was just... Chilling? With the bats? And Zooble was swinging their arms at the bats and then cursing censored words when they couldn't catch one.

Pomni decided to go over and help Ragatha catch some bats. After all, there were about 20 that needed catching.

The jester was about 3/4 of the way across to Ragatha when a bat flew up into her face.

Pomni screeched and desperately tried to shoo away the creature, but it persisted.

Pomni eventually tried to jump away, but she somehow ended up jumping directly into Ragatha's arms, who had come to try and help the jester.

Both women got flustered and looked away frantically, and Ragatha gently put Pomni back on the ground.

"S-Sorry! I-I didn't mean to, uh..." Pomni trailed off.

"No, no! You're fine! I-I mean IT'S fine!" Ragatha stuttered back.

"Wanna... Stay with me to hunt bats?" The ragdoll offered.

"Y-Yes! Yes, of course!" Pomni responded, still flustered. WHAT'S GOING ON WITH ME?! The jester frantically thought.

As the pair of them hunted bats, the exit doors still couldn't quite leave Pomni's vision. Or her head. She could see them everywhere.

After all the bats were caught, everyone headed out of the cave, with the cage. Pomni clung close to Ragatha, red-faced.

Once they all left the cave, Caine was right there waiting for them.

"Congratulations on catching the bats!" He exclaimed as confetti came down." Your reward is these pajamas, so you can snooze comfortably, even though you don't need to!"

Pomni looked at the pajamas, one pair for each of them. They were purple ish with a bat on them, with text that said: PROFESSIONAL BAT CATCHER

Everyone decided to try them on. The six characters went to their respective rooms, and came out a few minutes later. Pomni had a messy hairstyle, as it was no longer contained under her hat. The pajamas were a loose fit, and she looked pretty comfortable.

Jax's pair was long and floppy, which matched his figure.

Gangle's pajamas were a good fit on her ribbony body, against the odds.

Zooble's were able to fit their blocky body pretty well, all things considered.

Kinger's were actually able to make him feel relaxed. And that's saying something.

But Pomni's jaw DROPPED when she saw Ragatha's nightgown version of the bat pajamas. She looked... Stunning. Pomni didn't even realize she was staring until Ragatha came up to her.

"Hey, you ok?" Ragatha questioned, concerned.

"Wh-What? Oh, yeah! I'm fine! U-Um... You look good!" The jester stuttered out.

Ragatha's face reddened for a moment. "Oh, u-um, thanks! ...You look good too!"

Pomni hid her face in her hands she was so red. She was able to mumble out a thank you before Caine interrupted for the second time today.

"Since the adventure is over, you can wear these for the rest of today! Stay comfy!" Caine winked and then disappeared once more.

Pomni and Ragatha shared a quick glance before splitting off to go do whatever.
