"Mind coming with me to dinner tonight?." TenTen murmured to Sakura.

Said girl looked up from her notebook and blinked at her sister, Temari leaning forward from the next seat.

"Is something wrong Teny?."
The girl in question let out a tired sigh, her hands coming up to run down her face. That alone had the girls worrying.

"I... My parents are coming back tonight... They've apparently heard about our kidnapping."

"But Teny." Temari said, sitting up.
"That's like three or so weeks ago."

"I know," she sighed.
"Can you two come with me, I can't face them like this and you know that'll blame Kiba for all this... I don't want that."

"We'll come." Sakura said fiercely. TenTen's parents were not her favorite of people, they always doted on TenTen yes, but Kiba was always pushed aside, not only that, they traveled a lot, leaving Kiba and TenTen to take care of themselves.
"No way in hell are we letting Kiba or you go through this alone."

Temari nodded, and TenTen smiled hugging the two girls before quickly sitting back on her seat as the professor turned around...

Kiba hung his head on the table as he bit his lip in worry.
His parents were coming tonight, their trip to Africa forgotten for the time being. No doubt he was going to get blamed for all that happened.

Yukina rubbed his back soothingly, trying to provide a bit of comfort, and Kiba was grateful for that.

"Shit man." Kisame said.
"Do they know about Yukina or Deidara." He asked gesturing to the mentioned people.

Kiba shook his head as negative, his parents didn't know about his or TenTen's intendeds
And he was hoping to keep that way.

All this was giving him a headache.

TenTen fidgeted as she stood in front of her mirror, Kiba had went to get their parents, and she was nervous. Sakura and Temari sat on her bed, observing her as she sighed.

"Whatever happens TenTen, you and Kiba are always welcomed to live with us, you know that there's plenty of space at our home." Sakura smiled.

She laughed,
"Its alright Sak, Tem, if it ends badly their just gonna leave again, its not a big deal."

The girls just watched her sadly. And before they knew it, they were all sitting around the dining table having dinner, when TenTen's mom sat her chopsticks down.

"TenTen dear, are you sure you're alright?." She asked.

Teny fought not to roll her eyes but strained to put a smile on her face, she wished Deidara was here to comfort her, but she had to be strong for both her and Kiba.

"I'm fine mom." She stressed the fine.
"Its over now."

"Yes, but dear." Her mom insisted.
"Non of that would have happened if Kiba didn't keep an eye on you."

Kiba clenched his fist under the table and tried to stay silent, his teeth grinding together, but his parents were to oblivious to notice.

"Its not-"

"But it is, he should have took better care of you." Her dad cut in.

Sakura discreetly tugged Kiba's fisted hand into her lap as Temari did the same to the other.

"Mom, Dad I'm tell you that-."

"Nonsense sweetheart, we trusted him to-."

TenTen couldn't take it anymore, she stood up abruptly and sent the chair skidding backwards.
Her face was dark and her eyes were burning with fire.

"How dare you!." She growled.
"Coming here after how many fucking years, you never cared what happened before, one incident and you're suddenly rushing here." She seethed.

"Not only that." She bared her fangs
"You come here to deliberately blame and Pick on my brother, my life, my protector.. When you have never been here a moment for me, or us.."

She pointed a finger at her parents and snarled.
"You were never around, and now you come pointing fingers at the person who worked hard to raise me by himself, despite being a kid himself.. I'm disgusted to even call you my parents." She took a deep breath.

"What happened to me and Sakura was our own fault, we were caught off guard when that happened, but you know what, Sakura and I fought, we fought out of that trouble and we found our way back, back to those who cares, who loves us.. Which is more than I can say for you two."

She signaled Sakura and Temari to head out as she grabbed Kiba by that hand.
"I want you two gone, I'm grateful that you're my parents and all but, parents just don't abandon their kids to survive on their own while said parents are out enjoying themselves."

And with that Teny pulled her brother with her, leaving her parents with only the slam of the front door.

It was almost a week since that incident and the Inuzuka siblings were staying at Sakura's for the time being.

Kiba, on the other hand, all his life he never had any self doubt, no insecurities, but what his parents said about it all being his fault hit him pretty bad and he tried to hide it by carrying on like nothing happened.

But TenTen wasn't dumb, she wasn't an idiot.
She knew what was wrong and intended to fix it at once.

"Kiba?." She said stepping into the room they shared.
Seeing a lump on the bed groan.
She smiled, padding over to him, she climbed next to him, curling around him.
"I know your awake, and this has got to stop."

"What?."

"That was not your fault Kiba, " she said softly
"What happened was bound to happen sooner or later, but it was not your fault."

He grunted as she hugged him tighter.
"I love you very much, you were there for me, cared for me and loved me more than my own parents could, and I want you to ignore whatever idiotic things that come out of their mouths,
it doesn't change anything."

He turned around and kisses her on the forehead, hugging her to him.
"Alright, I promise that I don't take anything they say into consideration."

She smacked him on the head.
"You better not." Snuggling closer to him.

Kiba, smiled before he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep, his sister next to him.

"So, their gone?." Temari asked as she saw TenTen and Kiba walk into the classroom, Sai and Sakura right behind.

"Yes," Kiba sighed.
"They left a note saying that they were sorry.. Then just left."

Temari wrinkled her nose.
"Your parents are cowards."

That caused TenTen and Kiba to nod together.
"Yea, we know."

Class began with a ring of the bell and everyone settled in.
Now that the terror of the week before was over, they could rest.

Sakura, on the other hand had problems of her own, mostly circling a certain Uchiha chick.
Itachi had told her that the council have made it certain that they are going to have Itachi married.

Sakura hummed with a small smirk, oh they didn't know that Itachi was already planning to marry her.

Now, it was just to put the plan into action.
Sakura couldn't wait to see the looks on those old geezers faces when they get the news.

Oh, it was going to be fun.
