Akatsuki decided that a bit of fresh air was in order.
So they packed up what they need and booked it to the beach, not really caring that it was a university day.

As they, meaning Ino and Temari helped Sakura to the beach towel and headed back to the vans to get the rest of the things.
Deidara, feeling a bit nervous, slipped next to Sakura and fidgeted a bit.

Sakura eyed him curiously wondering the hell was itching the crazy blonde.
"Dei?... What the heck is wrong?."
That got him to stay still.

So, leaning across the the towel to reach her ear, Deidara whispered his problem into her ear.

A loud squeal of joy caused everyone to jump about five feet in the air, looking in all direction to finally see Sakura grinning like and idiot at Deidara who was blushing.

" what the hell?..." Temari muttered. The others shrugging and going back to what they were doing.

Naruto grinned evilly, sneaking up behind a oblivious Shikamaru with a pail of ice cold water, and with a snicker he dumped the bucket on his Shikamaru's head and sprinted off cackling like a maniac.

Shikamaru screamed, actually screamed like a girl as the water connected with his skin.
He whirled around to see the blonde Baaka running away from him, laughing idiotically.

" Naruto!. you son of bitch!."

The blonde laughed harder, thinking that he had gotten away with this one, when he was suddenly frozen on the spot unable to move.

He looked down to see his shadow stuck in place. Eyes widening as he realized what had happened, he was suddenly turned around automatically to see Shikamaru looking at him with a smug expression.

" You really shouldn't have done that Naru. " Ino said dryly.
But whatever she was going to continue to say was cut of as Shikamaru used his jutsu to raise Naruto of the ground, the blonde hollering as he was midair.
With a snicker Shikamaru catapulted a screaming Naruto Into the ocean.

"Oh my Gosh!." Ino exclaimed, laughing instantaneously, Hinata giggling next to and amused Madara.

Shikamaru dusted imaginary dirt of his hands and turned to walk away, with his head held high, cause Naruto deserved that, thank you very much.

Sakura, flopped back onto the blanket, full on laughter racking her aching body. Itachi snorted softly behind her, rolling his eyes at the immaturity.

Naruto shivered as he dragged his body out of the water, the cool breeze hitting his body. He pouted as he dropped down on the sand next to Hidan who was skinning his mouth.

Temari sighed as she moved everything and settled up to make lunch seeing that Naruto, Obito, Kiba and Kisame were getting grumpy if their stomach wasn't Filled.

She popped open the grill and scattered the coals in the pit, but before she placed the grill piece on she turned to Madara.
" Madara-nii chan?. Could you light this up for me?."

Said man hummed, as he send a small spark of flame from his mouth that had the coals on fire immediately.
Nodding her thanks, she placed the grill piece on and took out her ingredients, calling Hinata over to help her prepare the food.

As the girls cooked, Deidara once again very fidgety, his palms sweaty and face flushed.
A hand on his knee had him jolting. He looked sideways to see Sakura looking at him with a gentle look.

" relax Deidara, take deep breaths and relax."
He nodded, taking a deep breath, glancing at Teny he smiled, feeling a smile spread across his lips, he felt calmer. He really did love that girl.

Itachi, who seen the exchange raised his eyebrow and nudged Sakura and pulled her between his legs so she could lean back against his chest.

" what was that all about, my queen?."

She laughed softly, reaching up behind her to grip his hair and pulled his head down, so her lips could touch his ear, whispering.
Itachi eyes were widening at every word and he shot a smirk at Deidara who blushed and looked away.

"Hmmm, not bad Deidara." He commented, leaning over to fist bump his best friend.

Deidara shrugged his face hot, but feeling extremely proud of himself.

"Foods ready!." Temari yelled, starting to dish out servings as she handed them to Hinata, who started to share out.

Looking down at the juicy grilled chicken burger in front of him, Naruto dug into his meal with gusto, his stomach grumbling with agreement.

The group all sat around in a circle, eating and laughing with each other, while watching the ones who were finished, namely Kisame and Naruto build a sand castle, with Teny besides them.

Sakura poked Deidara as an encouragement and smiled when he took several deep breaths before getting up and strutting over to Teny.

"Kisame!. Naruto!. Could you guys come here for a minute?." Sakura yelled, not wanting them to get involve in the surprise.

As they did, Deidara stopped walking to stand in front of Teny, a nervous and excited look on his face.
"Deidara, what's wrong?."

He didn't say anything though, instead, he took her two hands in his gently and dropped down on one knee.

There was a set of sharp gasps from the side but he just ignored that, focusing on the beautiful girl in front of him.

" TenTen Inuzuka, we have been together for a while now and they have the most amazing moments of my life... When I first met you we were ready to punch each others face in. " he chuckled, holding her hands tighter.
" I know that we will have our fights and always be bickering, but that's love. We will always be with each other no matter what, so." He let go one hand to reach into his pocket to retrieve the little black box he had there, opening it up to reveal a beautiful sliver engagement ring with glistening white diamond in the middle and little engravings of kunais around the rim.
" so will you do me the honor, my dear Teny of changing your last name and becoming my beautiful wife?."

Teny gaped, the tears rolling now her cheeks as she took in his words and a wave of emotions hit her like a bullet train, she dropped to her knees and hugged him tightly.
"Yes!. Yes I'll marry you!. I love you Deidara!."

He let out a breath he didn't know he was hold and slid the ring onto her finger before kissing her softly.

" Thank you so much!." He laughed lifting her up.
He looked behind him to see the guys gaping, except Itachi and Saky.

A few minutes passed before the Akatsuki threw themselves at the couple.

" oh my god!."

" Deidara, you sly dog!."

" You fucker, you could have told us!."

"Congratulations guys!."

They all laughed, finally something nice to this nightmare.

Suddenly Ino cackled evilly.
