Y/N's POV

*Earlier that Day*

I glanced out the car window to see the familiar trees that I had passed two years ago when I had left the small town full of anomalies and the paranormal. A smile grew on my face as the feeling of peace and calmness engulfed me in its hold. This feeling could only mean one thing, I was home. I turned to the driver and smiled widely as she cocked her eyebrows and narrowed her eyes. She already knew what I was about to say since I continued to repeat it the entire way down.

"Come on, K.C., can't you try to go at least a little faster? Look at the scenery! We are so close now this time, I can already taste the Greasy's Diner food and smell the pine trees."

She only laughed at me and faced towards the road once again, "Girl, chill, we'll get there when we get there. I don't want to get pulled over by the police again because I'm speeding."

I frowned, facing towards the scenery once again to return back to my own thoughts. School is finally over, graduating high school was a piece of cake. No more teachers ever again, no more stupid homework that I have to waste my nights doing until 4 in the morning. No, none of that anymore. Freedom is all I am experiencing now.

Katelyn Cooper and I bursted out of those school doors on the last day and went straight home to pack and head out once Summer officially started. We decided to adventure and explore, take a roadtrip through the country and now that Summer has come to an end and Fall has begun, we both decided to move to the one place I have ever been able to call home. A small town that is not on any map ever made, Gravity Falls.

Two years ago was my last visit to this town and I can't help but feel excited to return. I wanted to finish up school in my hometown which was the only reason why I had gone back to with D/n and M/n. I refused to call them "mother" or "father" unless company was around to not make them suspicious of the relationship I have with my so called "parents".

Eventually, M/n and I reconnected and she actually became really interested in the journal and the wheel. I was a bit cautious thinking she was only doing it because she thought it would make me trust her again but after a while I saw that she really was standing up for me and the nightmares I use to have. D/n was upset and said that what happened in Gravity Falls should never be spoken of, forgotten as though it never occurred. After a long argument between the two, a divorce was filed out and D/n went on his own way. My mom and I finally grew a relationship once again and she has supported me with everything since.

First day back to school and I had already proved myself a freak once more to my fellow classmates; walking down the hallways and sitting in classrooms I couldn't exactly tell the difference between what people were speaking and what they were thinking. The curse of having demonic powers I guess you could say. Well, some good came out of it as I got to hear every dirty secret Clarissa kept hidden in her mind and reveal the truth about her; everyone in the entire school hates her now thanks to me. I feel like I was finally able to achieve something and she has never once tried to bother me again.

One day while walking down the hallways to my second period class, Katelyn Cooper passed me thinking about her favorite cartoon show about a princess from another dimension living on earth with a "safe boy" as people considered him and I commented:

"Oh my gosh, you love that show too?!"

I, uh, messed up big time thinking she had been talking about it out loud. She wanted an explanation the moment those words poured out of my mouth. After explaining to her about my demonic powers, she literally wanted to know everything. Apparently, I wasn't the only one considered a freak in the school and we quickly decided to be freaks together. I, my mom, and Katelyn were the only ones who ever discussed about the end of the world that happened not too long ago. Everyone else seemed as though they wanted to forget and move on.

We decided to go on trips together to find all of the other paranormal sites around the world which caused the two of us to miss a lot of school days but with a little persuasion and me possibly mind controlling the teachers to do my bidding, we were able to still pass with the rest of our class. Life so far has been great but not perfect. The only way it could ever be perfect is if I am reunited with my family and my lover. That is what K.C. and I plan to do, to finally complete what has been missing and finally return home.

Gravity Falls, I hope you haven't missed me for too long because I'm back and I don't plan on leaving again.
