Chapter 8
(I ♡ Comments :) )
Huey glared at Louie, taking deep breaths, trying to calm himself down before he spoke.
"So you're telling me, that you have a crush, on Jordan!?" Huey yelled.
"Yeah, why?" Louie asked. "Is there something wrong?" Huey couldn't even asnwer the questions, being too angry to actually say anything. Instead, he pounced on his youngest brother, his hands around his neck, choking him. Dewey immediately acted, trying to pull Huey away from Louie, who was struggling under his brother's grasp. Once Huey was pryed off of Louie by; Dewey, Azure, and Azalea, Ivone and Andy pulled Louie away from his oldest brother.
"How can you even think about liking that rotten, good for nothing, as*h*le!?" Huey yelled, Dewey covered his beak as he heard him cuss.
(Sorry bout dat innocent people)
"Hue, I can like whoever I want! You can't control me over that!" Louie shot back.
"I don't care! Jordan is the worst possible person you could like!" The red triplet claimed.
"Oh really? How so!?" The youngest triplet crossed his arms.
"First, he's a jerk, second, he's a band kid, third-"
"Are you serious!? You're still on that!? What have band kids ever done to you? They're really nice people, good students. So I don't understand why you hate them so much!"
"It doesn't matter, why, I hate them. All that matters is that I hate them!!" Huey yelled.
"Ugh! You're unbelievable! I swear if this is because of the stupid orchestra." Louie stated. "Huey! Reality check! Nobody, likes, orchestras! They're just an excuse to keep a stupid genre of music alive! So that people like you, huge nerds! Can actually try and do something productive!!"
(Oof, that hurt! 3: )
"You take that back! Right, now, Llewellyn!" The eldest triplet yelled.
"No! You need to understand that no one will ever appreciate your kind! Stop, trying Hubert! You're not making a difference by hating on a musical group because they're better!" Huey stood up, having had enough. He went over to Louie, picking him up by the front of his shirt, about to punch him.
"Hue! Don't do it!" Dewey pleaded.
"Huey, you're better than this!" The twins claimed. Huey looked back at his brother and friends, then back at Louie.
"Do it." Louie stated. "I dare you." Huey pulled his fist back, shakily, his hand gripping Louie's shirt before setting him down. He looked down at the grass and then ran away from the group, leaving his stuff behind. Everyone watched as Huey ran away from them.
"Huey!" Dewey called out. He looked over at Louie and sighed, disappointed, at what he had said. He stood up, grabbed Huey's things, as well as his own, and ran after his older brother. "Huey! Please wait up!" Huey looked back at Dewey, but turned a corner and went into the boys' restroom. There were two sets of restrooms in that hallway, since it was so long. Dewey checked the first restroom and found nothing. He went down the hallway and saw that the door to the second restroom had been closed. The middle triplet leaned against the door to hear what was going on inside. He heard yelling, sobbing and then something, probably a trash can, being kicked over followed by a few curse words. Dewey sighed, not understanding why Huey would get so upset over something like this. He's always taken it well when Dewey would tell him things, but this. This was different. The blue triplet was about to walk away before he heard the shattering of glass. Dewey quickly opened the door to the restroom and saw that Huey had punched one of the mirrors in there, his hand now injured by the glass. "H-Huey? Are you o-"
"Shut up!" He yelled. "Leave me alone..."
"Hue, what's wrong?" Dewey asked, holding his brother's stuff in front of him like a shield, in case Huey got upset and went after him.
"It's nothing! Now give me my sh*t and leave!" Huey snatched his things out of Dewey's grasp. The middle triplet gasped as the backpack was suddenly ripped from his hands.
"Huey, I just want to help you." Dewey claimed. "Please tell me what's wrong." Huey turned away from his brother, sitting on the floor, away from the glass. He opened his backpack and took out some bandages that he always carried with him. "Shouldn't you clean your wound first?" The red triplet sighed.
"It's not like it matters anyways. I don't care if it gets infected." Huey stated.
"Here." Dewey set down his things next to his brother and got a paper towel from it's dispenser. He set it and went over to Huey, sitting down in front of him. "Hand." He commanded softly. The eldest triplet sighed and gave his younger brother his hand. Dewey began cleaning the blood off of Huey's knuckled.
"So, you actually pay attention whenever I give you guys lessons on this stuff?" He asked.
"Yeah I pay attention, it's not like I have a choice since you force us." Dewey stood back up, picked the trash can up, and threw the paper towel away, getting another one and sitting back down. He dried Huey's hand by dabbing the wound gently. "Do you have any ointment in your back pack?" Huey looked away from his brother and shook his head, which resulted in the middle triplet sighing. "I don't even know why I asked." He muttered. "Yes you do Hubert, I know that for a fact. Now hand it over." The red triplet closed his eyes, rolling his eyes behind closed eyelids before opening them to look in his backpack. He pulled out the ointment that he knew protected wounds from infecting and gave it to Dewey. The latter took the tube and opened it, placing a decent amount on his thumb. He spread it around the cut areas on Huey's knuckles. With that, Huey pulled his hand away and wrapped the bandages around his hand himself.
"You should probably leave now." Huey stated.
"What? Why? I just want to help you feel better." Dewey explained.
"Then, please....help me by leaving."
(Heads up, something's gonna happen. ^3^)
"I won't do that! You're my brother, and I care about you! Just let me help." The middle triplet begged. "I might not be that responsible more than half the time, but right now, I have to be!"
"Dewey, please...I'm warning you."
"Why!? What's the worst you cou-" Dewey was interrupted by Huey kissing him. The blue triplet gasped and tried standing up, only to fall back down, scooting away from his older brother. "W-w-what was th-that for!?" He asked, shocked.
"Dewey, I-"
"No, no! What's going on here!?" He yelled. "Why did you kiss me!?"
"Dew-"
"What the heck Hubert! I thought you were straight, what's going on!?" Dewey asked, standing up fully and crossing his arms.
"Dewey....I'm sorry. I told you to leave." Huey stated.
"And I should have listened! Ugh!" Dewey turned away from Huey, a look a confusion and slight anger on his face. Huey teared up, looking down at his lap. Dewey turned back around when he heard his brother crying. "Huey, listen." The middle triplet kneeled down next to Huey. "I don't like you like that, I like Louie.....I don't mind if you like me, I honestly don't care who you like, just understand that I don't like you back." Huey nodded and wiped his eyes.
"I know. I'm an idiot." He muttered. "I don't know what I was thinking, but I obviously wasn't."
"Hue, it's okay, I don't care, just, don't tell the group about it." Dewey stated, adverting his eyes.
"Okay...I promise....I'm sorry, I'll never do it again." A bit before the moment where Huey had missed Dewey, someone had walked in and recorded most of what had happened. They just wondered how they were going to get it out so the whole school could watch.
