Dewey sighed as he opened the door, but was greeted with a hug.
"Dewey!!" Andy exclaimed.
"Andy!" Dewey replied, hugging him back.
"It's been so long!" The octuplet said with a smile.
"It's been a few hours." Dewey laughed.
Andy shrugged and hugged Dewey again.
"Ugh! Why do I have to be here!?" Justin whined. I just wanna sleep!"
"It's better than being home..." Austin muttered.
"Mmhm." Josh nodded in agreement.
"Loooouuuuiiieeee!!!" Ivone ran up to Louie and picked him up.
"Ah! I-Ivy!" Louie giggled.
Jordan gritted his teeth and growled, Dewey doing the same, but to Jordan.
"What was that?" Andy whispered.
"Nothing..." Dewey replied.
Huey had snuck downstairs and was now looking around, hoping to see his friends.
"Hi, Huey." Jamie greeted shyly.
Huey turned around and smiled.
"Oh, hi, Jamie. Have you seen Azalea and Azure?"
"No, sorry...I didn't see them on the way here. I haven't seen them since lunch actually. They skipped orchestra earlier too, if you didn't notice." Jamie replied.
"Oh, that sucks. Wait," Huey paused. "You're in the orchestra!?" He exclaimed, grabbing Jamie's shoulders out of excitement.
"Uh, yeah. I have been for three years." Jamie said awkwardly, shaking Huey's hands off his shoulders. "I needed to talk to you about, something."
"Oh, sure, go ahead." Huey smiled.
"In private, please." The young octuplet whispered.
"Sure, we can talk in the kitchen." The red clad triplet suggested.
"Ooh, where are Jamie and Huey going?" Ivone whispered to Louie, as well as Austin and Alfie, since they were nearby.
"To, the kitchen." Louie stated the obvious.
"Yeah, but what are they gonna do?" Ivone added.
"Taaaalk?" Louie said in the form of a question.
"Let's go find out!" Alfie piped up and dragged the three to spy on Huey and Jamie.
"So, how's your arm, Justin?" Jordan asked him.
"Still hurts..." Justin muttered.
"Where are Alfie and Austin?" He asked.
"They ran off with Louie and that parrot chick." Justin replied while looking down at the ground.
"Hey," Jordan growled, grabbing his brother's chin and making him look up at him. "Look at me when I'm talking to you."
"My neck hurts, okay!?" Justin shot back. "Mom got my pressure point."
"Ugh, whatever. Next time you get a beating, take it like a man."
"We're only 13, Jordan!"
"Shut up." Jordan growled, nudging Justin's injured arm.
"Ow!" Justin whimpered. Andy looked over and gritted his teeth.
"Jordan! Leave him alone!" He yelled. "Mom's not here right now, so stop being an ass like she is." Josh stretched his arms out for Justin.
Whenever the eight were out of the house, and school, they were usually really close, but tonight, Jordan was being really rude for no reason at all.
Justin walked over to Josh and let him hug him softly.
Ash was standing of to the side on his own, looking around curiously. He was unsure of who to talk to, especially since every one was busy. Huey and Jamie were talking in the kitchen while Louie, Ivone, Austin and Alfie were spying, Josh was protecting Justin who was being teased by Jordan, and Andy and Dewey were talking to each other. Ash signed before seeing a strange shadow from a hallway. He turned to look and saw nothing.
"Guys, guys." He called out. "I saw this weird shadow thing in the hall and-"
"That's nice, Ash. It's probably just your eyes again." Justin, Josh Jordan and Andy said in unison.
"Oh...y-yeah...maybe you're right." Ash muttered. Dewey frowned at this and walked over to him.
"I believe you. There's all sorts of crazy things going on around here." Dewey told him as he placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Really? You mean that?" Ash smiled weakly, his eyes filled with hope that this was true.
"Yep." The middle triplet smiled. Ashton smiled even more, as if he had never been agreed with before.
"Thanks! That's the first time someone believes me."
"Wait, really?" Dewey asked.
"Uh-huh! My brothers never agree with me or believe me since I'm the one that's a little crazy, but whatever." Ash laughed.
"Crazy....riiiight." Dewey laughed nervously. "So, you saw a shadow thing?"
"Mmhm. It had two heads and was walking that way." Ash pointed in the direction of Huey's room.
"Oh, I see. Wanna go check it out?" Dewey asked. Ash nodded and started walking that way.
A while beforehand, Huey and Jamie were talking to each other in the kitchen.
"So, Huey....I wanted to tell you that....that I have a crush on you." Jamie whispered.
"Y-you do?" Huey whispered.
"Yeah...I do...and I know you don't like me, but I really needed to get this off my chest and now I feel dumb and stupid for doing this and and and-" Jamie was cut off by Huey kissing him. Jamie gasped, his eyes watering slightly.
"I like you too, but I'm dealing with something right now, so, will you wait for me?" Huey asked. Jamie smiled brightly and nodded, kissing him again.
"Woah, I didn't know those two still liked each other..." Ivone whispered.
"Aw, that's so cute." Alfie smiled.
"But, Huey is with Dewey." Louie told them.
"Wait, what?" Austin asked.
"Huey and Dewey are a couple. Why is Huey kissing him?" Louie whispered.
Huey broke the kiss, in which Jamie whined softly.
"Did you hear that? I think someone is watching us." Huey told him.
"Ugh, it's probably my dumb brothers." Jamie sighed. "Can we kiss more in your room. Please?"
Huey nodded and grabbed his hand, taking him to his room.
"Ooh, those two are gonna do-"
"Shut up, Ivy." Louie growled. "I can't believe Huey would cheat on Dewey like this! Especially after everything!"
"Hey, it's okay. Jamie would never touch him, in, that, way..." Austin laughed nervously.
"This is so gross. I'm telling Dewey." Louie muttered.
