Cory's Pov
       "Im FINE Nick! It was just a little blindness! Im really OK!" Uni continued to insist over and over again as Nick tried to take him to an eye doctor. We were walking back from the park, and everyone was worried about Uni. He had lost his sight for a few moments while walking. I was just as worried as everyone else, if not more worried. But Uni continued to insist that he was alright, but one thing confused me...The confidence in his voice. It was like he knew what was wrong, but wasn't telling us. I knew he was hiding something, but what? How could he know what's wrong? And why won't he tell us? I wondered.

      "You seem oddly confident Uni." Nick voiced my thoughts. Uni just shrugged and continued walking, "Well I know im fine now." He answered, yet he didnt make eye contact with anyone. When we got to the house Uni immediately went to his room and shut the door. I figured i'd give space now, then check on him later.

     After about an hour of sitting on the couch watching T.V with the others, I figured it was time to go check on Uni. I walked to his door and gently knocked. "Come in." I heard Uni murmur. When I walked in I saw him sketching in his sketckbook. He looked up at me and smiled. "Hi friend." He said cheerfully, but I could tell he was bothered by something. "Ok Uni, spit it out." I said suddenly. He looked at me in suprise. "Spill what?" I glared at him,"What you're hiding, and don't lie to me. I know something's up!" I said more angrily this time. "No idea what you're talking about." He answered simply, but I could tell he was nervous.

      "Spit. It. Out!" I said slowly, anger fueling my voice. Uni stayed silent. "Ok, be that way, but im not leaving until you tell me what's wrong." I said simply, sitting down on the ground next to Uni and crossing my arms. Uni heaved a sigh, "Fine.." he muttered angrily. I smirked, "Now, tell me what's wrong with your eyesight, because I know you know." I asked.

     Uni became uneasy after I asked that. "Well..." he began nervously. "Go on." I pressed. Uni sighed in defeat, "It...It was 'him'." He answered quietly. "And who might 'him' be?" I asked, confused. Uni was silent a moment before answering, "Ya know that guy I said was hurting you in my dream last night?" He asked. I nodded. "Well.. He's sorta kinda in every nightmare I have...and I heard him laughing when my sight went away.. I think..No I know it was him." Uni answered slowly, he seemed to be picking every word very carefully.

    I stared at him with a mixture of confusion, worry, and suprise. That's not possible.. I thought to myself. His face was red with emmbarassment and he looked down at his feet. I was stunned to silence. Then he turned his sketchbook to a different page. It was the same page I'd seen before, the one with the evil looking Uni sketch. Uni continued to look at his feet as he pointed to the sketch and added, "He calls himself Duni. He's like my evil counterpart, and he is super merciless." I continued to stare at Uni, wide eyed. "Ok.." I finally murmured. "Well, how about we both go to bed and talk about this in the morning." I said with a kind smile. He sighed, and without making eye contact, got up and walked over to his bed. "G'night Cory." He murmured. "Night Uni." I said as I turned his light off and left the room.

      Uni is insane. I thought as I laid in my bed trying to fall asleep. That isn't possible. That character is just in his mind, it can't take his sight away. I continued to think. Well.. I guess we can figure it out in the morning... I thought as I slowly drifted to sleep.
                 *Dream start
      I opened my eyes to see a darkness around me. I looked around and everything was dark. I was standing in a partly lit area, but there was nothing there to give off light. I thought I was alone, then I heard slow approaching footsteps. I looked around quickly, trying to pinpoint where the footsteps were coming from, but they seemed to be coming from everywhere.  Then I saw a familiar silhouette approaching.

     The silhoutte approached slowly yet surely. The silhouette looked just like Uni. But there was a faint red light surrounding him. "Uni?" I called into the darkness. The figure stopped for a moment, I heard him huff in anger. Then he stepped into the light, "Don't you ever confuse me with that coward!" He growled angrily. I gasped in shock. He looked just like Uni, exept he had red hair and red eyes, and his teeth were sharp. He...He looked like the sketch exept colored.

     He noticed my shocked expression and chuckled, "Welcome." He said with a devilish, sharptoothed smile. "Who are you?" I asked. He fake pouted, "I thought you would know by now. I guess not.." He murmured with fake disappointment. Then his smile returned and he looked back at me, "Im Duni, and your Cory, right?" Duni. The name hit me hard. Was Uni telling the truth? I wondered. I nodded, "Yeah, Cory."

     He showed his teeth again in Another devilish smile, "It's sooo good to finally meet you." He said cheerfully. I backed away and he frowned at my behavior. "Why so scared? Don't you trust me?" I shook my head and toik another step back. He sighed, "Don't make this difficult Cory. I won't hurt you as long as you do one thing for me.." he began. "Im listening.." I murmured. "Stay out of my way and stop messing woth my plans." He said darkly. "Plans!? What plans!?" I asked in confusion. He chuckled darkly, "Breaking. Uni." Was all he said before a sick smile crossed his face. "Wh-" I began but he cut me off. "Goodbye dear friend, I'll see you again VERY soon.." i was about to question it, when suddenly pain filled my body. I looked down to see an arrow in my chest. I gasped as I saw Duni holding the bow and smiling.
              *Dream end*
         I awoke with a gasp and sat up immediately. I looked out my window and saw soft moonlight filtering in. It was still dark out. What...what was that? I wondered. It was so...real. could it have been real? No..But the pain was so real feeling...what if it was....no, Uni just put some nightmares into my head...That's all. I thought wildly. Then I laid back down, and gently drifted back to sleep.
