Jake and his siblings exited out of the dungeon room, which only a flashlight to guide them and a gun to protect them.

Jake: I can't believe they had us locked up in here...

Melody: At least we had time to get out of that room. I guess we owe Howie some thanks to buying us time before the cultists find us. I really don't want to go back in that torture chamber...

Jake: Yeah...

Tommy: So...that was a torture chamber?

Jake: Yeah Tommy...Since you're still young. A torture chamber is where people go to be inflicted with pain and suffering.

Melody: Yeah. Back then, The mere presence of the torture chamber was used as a form of intimidation and coercion. The victims were first shown the chamber and if they confessed they would not be tortured inside it.

Tommy:...

Melody: Other times the torture chamber was used as the final destination in a series of prison cells where the victims would gradually be moved from one type of cell to another, under progressively worsening conditions of incarceration, and if they did not recant in the earlier stages they would finally reach the torture chamber.

It was once said the final stage of actually going to the torture chamber itself, just prior to the initiation of torture, was euphemistically called the "Question".

Tommy: Oh...

Jake: Ya sure know your history. But sheesh. I just can't believe this town still owns a torture chamber. Here I thought rich or royalty people would only have those.

Melody: It depends on the type of person who is considered rich and royalty. They can still use other sophisticated designs for torture.

Jake: Sheesh...I can tell you...from our experience a hour ago...it wasn't pretty.

Melody: Ugh. Don't remind me. I still can't believe they did that to the poor girl.

Jake: There was many other victims too...

He hasn't forgot about the dead child he found in the motel. If they survive this ordeal, this whole thing will surely give them nightmares and possible trauma for weeks or maybe months to a year or so...

Melody: Let's go now...We wasted enough time...

They assembled through the halls of the dungeon and continued further ahead. One of the cultist noticed them!

Cultist: I'll kill you!

*BAM*

Jake had no choice but to shoot him down.

Jake: Don't fuck with me or my siblings!

Before they stopped at a room that was filled with many mummified corpses littered all around.

Jake: What the...?

Melody: Are these...the people of the native tribe that Howie talked about...or are all they of them of victims of the townsfolk.

Jake: I...think I rather not stick around to find out...

The siblings begin to move further once more until they heard a cracking sound.

They turned their heads towards the room again and recoiled in horror to see the mummified people rising from their graves.

Tommy: What the-?!

Melody: Are those...Zombies?!

Jake: Holy Shit! Come on!

The siblings ran down the hallways once more but stopped in their tracks to see that they were surrounded by corpses of the dead people moving around like zombies.

Melody: What are we going to do?

Jake: What is this we stuff. Get behind me!

Jake puts his hands back on the rifle and pulled the trigger which hit one of the zombified corpses.

*RAAAAAAAGH*

Jake loaded up his shotgun once more and continued shooting. But soon realized there was too many of them.

Jake: Fall Back!

As soon as he made an opening. Melody used the fire axe and bashed it onto one of the corpse's head knocking them down. Some of the mummies tried to grab Tommy who managed to dodge by crawling underneath their legs.

This gave Melody an opportunity to attack while they were wide open.

Some of the cultists who were still alive came from every nook and cranny...

"DIE YOU FUCKING BRATS!"

"DIE FOR OUR TOWN"

But both siblings continued shooting and hacking them down.

Melody: How about you bastards die instead!

Jake: Yeah! You won't kill us!

Melody then grabbed Tommy and they made a run through the opening with Jake following behind. One of the corpses tried to ambush him but Jake saw through their deception and kicks them square in the head stopping them before pulling the trigger causing their head to explode.

As soon as the siblings finally made it out of the hole. They heard screams everywhere. They looked around to see the cultists being devoured by the mummified corpses.

"AAAAAH?!"

"NO! STOP! STAY AWAY!"

"I DIDN'T WANT THIS! I DIDN'T WANT THIS!"

"PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE!!! GAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!"

Tommy: *Whimpers*

Jake: Holy Fuck...

Melody: Let's go...Hurry before we end up like them.

The siblings narrowly avoid the cultists as they were all being cannibalized by the living dead.

After the hellish scene they saw, they soon ran into another hallway and was almost out of the dungeon.

Jake: We're almost there!

Melody: Wait! I see someone...!

Up further ahead was a familiar person.

Tommy: *Gasp* Is that...?

Jake: Tessa?!

To their relief, Tessa was still alive...however, once they close to her. Something was different about her.

Her short blonde hair was messy and disheveled. Her skin was pale...and she was naked with blood was all over her.

Melody: T-Tessa...?

Tessa: *Mumbling*...

She had her back turned away from them as she continued to mumble indescribable words that the siblings couldn't understand.

Jake: Tessa...It's us...everything okay now. Let's get you some clothes and get out of here...

Once Jake puts on hand on her shoulder gently, what happend next was shocking.

The girl had a knife in her hand and she tried to slash Jake.

Tommy: Lookout!

Luckily, instincts had caught up to the youngest brother as he pulled Jake away from Tessa who had tried to stab him in the eye.

Jake: Whoa!

Melody: Tessa! Please! Stop! It's us!

Tessa: AAAAAARGH!!! AAAAAARGH!!!

Tessa ignored them as she continued to scream like an rapid animal. Her eyes were devoid of any sanity as her grip on the knife started shaking until she charged at the siblings.

Melody pulled Tommy out of the way after Tessa tried to stabbed the youngest. She continued making swipes at them but to no avail.

Jake: Tessa...we don't want to hurt you...

Tommy: Please Miss Tessa stop...!

Tessa: AAAAAARGH!!! AAAAAARGH!!!

Melody:.....Boys....It's no use...

Jake: Huh?

Tommy:....What do you mean?

Melody:....She's gone. She's too far gone! Look at her!

Jake:....

Tommy:....

Tessa: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!

Jake dodged again and pulled Tessa's arms up preventing them from trying to stab him. The girl thrash in her grip but Jake somehow managed to keep her from moving.

Jake: Ow! Fuck!

She thrashed, kicked, and tried to bite him. Melody shook her head in sadness.

Melody: Jake...She's suffering...That isn't her anymore...We...We need to....

"Put her out of her misery..."

Jake: Melody...?

Tommy: W-What?

Melody: It's only way to save her! We can't get her help anymore! What these cultist have done to her! Will be the same thing that will happen to us unless we get out to her! It's like you said...we can't help her nor Dudley anymore. We have to help ourselves!

Jake:.....You're right.

Tessa: RAAAAAAAGH!

Jake: OH PUT A SOCK IN IT ALREADY!

He bashed his head against Tessa causing her to scream in agony as she fell to the ground clutching her head. Knowing what he had to do. He grabbed the gun again and point it towards the girl. The moment she looked up. She froze at it was at her temple.

Jake: Melody. Cover Tommy's ears.

Melody: You got it. Tommy...I know this is hard but...

Tommy: I know...Please make it quick...

Jake nodded as Tommy closed his eyes while Melody closed his ears. The only girl sibling closed her own eyes as well.

Jake: Tessa....I'm sorry we couldn't save you. We were being selfish. But for now. Rest easy...and go to where Misty is at.

Tessa:....

Jake: Thanks for everything.

*BAM*

The girl's body fell with a thud...Melody collapsed to the ground crying her heart out as the only person that could've been her friend...was now gone. Tommy cried along with her.

Jake dropped the gun, tears of his own fell from his eyes as he did the work.

Jake: I...killed her...I killed...a person...I...Oh God. Tessa...I'm so sorry...

I'm so sorry...

I killed her...

I killed her...

Jake killed someone that didn't deserve death.

That's all Jake could say to himself until he punched his own face.

Jake: No! Snap out of it! I made the choice...so now I must live with the consequences.

He looked at his siblings. Both of them were sobbing a little until Jake pulled his arms over to them.

Jake: Okay guys. The exit is that way.... Let's go...for her.

Melody/Tommy: Yes/Okay...

After they paid their respects to the girl, they reach the exit. Jake looked back at the dead body of Tessa. He'll never see her beloved smile or her chatty attitude again.

Jake: Goodbye...Tessa...and once again. Thanks. We'll get out of this hellhole. Just you watch us!

They finally leave the dungeon to prepare for the final nightmare that awaits them outside.
