One of Many

Mihawk was able to find the kitsune within a couple days, much to your relief, and to make it better, he was able to convince her to help just as fast. You didn't bother asking how he did it after Shanks had mentioned her dislike of getting involved in things like this but you were pretty sure he found a way to pressure her into taking the job. At least she'd be compensated for it.

In the mean time, you and Shanks managed to throw together a haphazard plan for getting you out of the apartment. It was decided that your human form, though more physically adept in many more ways than before, would still be too noticable in an attempted escape. It'd be a risk, but you decided that the shifting process was quiet enough that you could do it in the apartment and then slip out a back window with Shanks. You'd have to force an early change but with it being on the evening of the full moon, that wouldn't be difficult.

The second it was dark, you'd shift and leave, head out the back window over your kitchen sink and drop down the the alley below. You were on the third floor but Shanks had assured you a drop like that wouldn't hurt you, especially in your cat form.

The space wasn't under watch and it would continue to stay that way on the fast approaching night of the full moon. The issue was, you would have to slip through a couple different side streets to get to a vehicle Benn would have waiting for you and Shanks. There'd be at least one place where you'd be in view of the government car parked in front of the apartment complex and if you were seen, it'd lead to a chase. But that's where the kitsune would come in.

According to Mihawk, she was a woman named Porche and she was an excellent shapeshifter. She'd take on your form and go out to confront the government guys, raise hell about them stalking you, and take their attention long enough for you to get away. They'd think she was you and you'd be able to slip away. Easy.

Mihawk had been meeting up with her to fill her in on your mannerisms and any information she'd need in case they decided to question her while you and Shanks continued your daily lives like nothing was going on. You both would go to your day jobs, plan in your free time, and when you were done with that, you'd take care of his needs.

True to your word, you had yet to get tired of it and needless to say, he was impressed with it. Your favorite times were when he'd completely let loose and his more demonic appearance would slip into his human one. You'd never seen the full form, just glimpses of what it was supposed to be. So far, you'd seen sharpened teeth, a large, impressive set of sweeping horns, claws, and sometimes, you'd be able to catch sight of pitch black skin with red undertones that showed up when the light hit them just right. The one time you'd managed to touch the darker skin, you were surprised by how it felt.

It always looked shiney, slick almost and it was just as soft to the touch, but it felt like smooth scales, like you'd touched a serpent. He was a little more conscious of his incubus appearance and often tried to keep parts of it under wraps but lucky for you, he was slowly allowing himself to relax about showing off his inhuman parts to you.

And while the sex stayed wonderful and the plan for keeping what you were hidden from the government was beginning to form, there were still a couple issues. One hadn't presented itself until today but the first had been a problem from the get go. You still needed a way to ensure that if they found out you weren't in your apartment, you'd be able to stay safe the rest of the night.

Mihawk's property was still the preferred hunting spot but you wouldn't be surprised if the men investigating you and Shanks decided to sweep through that area along with a few others. They knew he and Mihawk were friends and it wouldn't take a genius to figure out the forest surround his home was a prime area for shifters and therefore, you. You needed some kind of cushion or different area to go to in case things fell apart.

If you were a wolf or a rat, it'd be much easier to deal with and you could hide among a pack but being a cat, neither group would be accepting of hunting with you, even for just a night. The only leopard in the area was Lucci and dealing with him would be like presenting yourself on a silver platter to the government. And as far as you knew, there was only one other jaguar, one you also didn't want to deal with. That left you with nothing.

As for the second issue, that was standing in your doorway, glaring at you with her arms crossed and her foot tapping away at the floor. Nami was looking over her shoulder, a look of complete shock when she saw Shanks in your kitchen, paused in the middle of taking a bite from his sandwich as he took in the two woman who's come by for a surprise visit.

"Hey guys." You smiled but you were panicking on the inside. Nami definitely remembered Shanks but she nor Robin knew you were dating him. In fact, no one but his friends knew. "What's shaking?"

Robin shouldered past you, letting herself in and Nami was quick on her heels.

"Shanks." Robin, snapped at him as politely as she could, making the color drain from your face. You could have sworn she didn't know him. "We're going to need to talk with (Y/n). Privately."

He took his bite and swallowed quickly. "I'm sure whatever the issue is, I can stay for this."

"I'd like you to leave, just for a short while." She said sweetly but the underlying command was there, leave or she'd make him leave.

He let out a sigh. "I guess it's a good time for a walk, the weather's nice at least."

With that, he gave you a small, supportive smile as he slipped past you three and made his retreat out the front door. You dreaded how this was going to go but at the same time, maybe it was asking for too much to hope your changes would be chalked up to just a change in character.

When it was only you girls left in the apartment, Robins eyes softened as you stared each other down. "You've been different lately (Y/n) and we were going to check with you to make sure everything was okay."

"Okay?" Nami closed the door after unabashedly watching Shanks trot down the stairs. "(Y/n)'s dating the most mysterious guy I've ever seen! (Y/n), you know he's different."

"She does." Robin nodded as she walked around your living room, probably noting how clean it has stayed despite your somewhat messy lover living with you.

"I thought you didn't know who Shanks was." You said to Robin, eyeing her.

"I didn't, not when you first mentioned him at least."

Something clicked for Nami. She snapped her fingers as her eyes lit up. "Oh! Luffy mentioned him a few times recently. He really looks up to him."

"Wait, Luffy knows him?" Now you were confused but then again, you hadn't talked about your friends around Shanks. He wouldn't have known Luffy and you were acquainted.

"Yeah. He said Shanks was around a lot when he was younger."

While Nami was able to make that connection, you could tell she was oblivious to anything else. Robin on the other hand, met your eyes when you glanced in her direction and you could immediately tell, she knew.

"What do you know about Shanks (Y/n)?" Robin asked quietly.

"He's some kind of supernatural thing, we never figured out what...." Nami interjected, still oblivious.

"I know what he is." You answered.

"Then you should know he wouldn't find himself in a relationship with a human." Robin ignored Nami's comment just as much as you did.

"He wouldn't...." You trailed off and silence hung heavy in the air.

Nami seemed to finally understand. Her eyes widened and she let out a small gasp. "The time at the bar?"

"What happened at the bar?" Robin asked sharply.

"Well, uh...." She still seemed like she didn't want to bring it up but at this point, avoiding it wasn't an option either.

"On our way out, we were attacked by a werejaguar." You answered. "It got a hold of me before we were lucky enough to have Shanks and Mihawk come to our rescue. Nami wasn't touched but it managed to get it's claws in me."

"So you're....a werejaguar now?" Nami was in complete awe, her eyes flitting around your body like she'd see something she hadn't before, something to hint at what you are.

"Um, yeah." You headed for the couch, suddenly needing to get off your unsteady feet. This was just as stressful as you thought it'd be. When you lowered yourself into the plush surface, you continued. "I'm sorry I lied to you guys, I just didn't know how you'd take it. A lots changed and it's been....difficult. I didn't want even more to change or for you guys to hate me for what I became."

You kept your head down to avoid their adamant stares. In all honesty, you weren't sure how they'd take this. Shanks had warned you about people suddenly ostracizing family and friends when they realized they weren't human but at the same time, you felt your friends wouldn't do that. But like he'd pointed out before, you'd never seen them actually befriend anything supernatural either, you could be completely wrong about them.

You were pulled from your thoughts when the couch bounced around you as both Nami and Robin sandwiched you between them. Nami threw her arms around you and squeezed hard while Robin settled for resting a delicate hand on your shoulder.

"This is huge, I get it." Nami murmured. "But you're still you and that'll never change."

"I can promise you, not one of us will think any less of you." Robin added.

She took a deep breath in as she placed her other hand on your shoulder as well. And then it felt like she added another. And another. You looked over and couldn't help but gasp loudly as you saw the extra arms sprouting out of the original limb, each moving of their own accord.

"If you're admitting to hiding what you are, I might as well do the same. I'm sorry I worried so much and was so harsh with you (Y/n) but when I realized you went missing around a full moon, I was worried you'd had an unfortunate run in with something. When you came back home, I was relieved but I didn't want to have that worry again and I took my emotions out on you."

"I know this is an important moment and all, but can we talk about what you are?" Nami released you to reach around and hesitantly touch one of Robin's sprouted arms.

"I will have to ask that we don't let too many people know about this." Robin cleared her throat and the arms disappeared. "What I am is extremely rare, I'm a decendant of the Hecantonchires."

"The what?"

"Oh!" You knew exactly what she was talking about and between the immediate acceptance of what you were and her admittance of being supernatural as well, you were suddenly relaxed. "Those were greek right? The mythology is they were the first children of Gaia and Uranus, giants with multiple heads and arms."

"I knew your supernatural buff side would make an appearance eventually." Robin laughed. "Yes that's the mythology of it. The Hecantonchires were real but that's as much as I know. They don't have many decendants, at least I haven't met another myself. We tend to stay well hidden."

"That's no joke, I would've never known." Nami said excitedly. "I can't believe both of you are supernatural!"

All three of you shared glances and began to smile.

"So when do we tell everyone else?" She continued.

"The sooner the better." Shanks stepped back into the apartment rather noisily to alert you three.

"Were you listening in?" That was something you could see him doing.

"I caught the tail end of it. A walk around the block is shorter than you think."

"And what happened to keeping what we are a secret?"

"Well, I think our friends may be able to help us with the rest of our problem."

"What problem?" Robin stiffened up, glancing between the two of you.

"We can explain it all when everyone else gets here. Let Luffy know I'm here and tell him it's urgent. We only have a few more days to get this figured out."

You had no idea how your human friends could help but if anything, Shanks had proven to be a problem solver. If he had something in mind, you trusted that it'd be good. Not to mention your fear of being discovered had been completely erased and you were now excited to talk with everyone else. If Robin and Nami could take the news so well, you were sure the rest of your friends would too.

(A/n)
The second I decided to write this story, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with Robin's abilities. They're too cool to not add in some kind of way and it was super easy to justify them in a supernatural-ish way.
