Slenderman's POV
Nightmare was sleeping again and it seems all he does is sleep but I gently woke him up and told him today is New Year's Eve (it's nighttime currently like almost midnight in the story) and he switched from annoyed to calm again and we went out on the porch with the tv playing in the background and we lit up sparklers and just watched the moon rise and the second the countdown struck zero we blew our kazoos like crazy until we were both tired so we went back inside and went to sleep.
