Me, at 3am, frantically trying to match the canon characters to the most accurate face claim:

Me, casts Xu Kai as Kai because my sister managed to drag me down the rabbit hole of Falling Into Your Smile and Arsenal Military Academy: That's not gonna backfire at all.

Me, smashing my keyboard to bits trying to find a redhead, plus size celebrity for Scarlet's face claim: What about Sabina Karlsson- Ah wait no she's too old. But she's literally perfect otherwise.

You'd think that Cress would be the easiest to cast, seeing as she's blonde, white and petite.

WRONG.

The only canon characters that were easy to cast were Wolf, Thorne, Iko (duh. The blue hair was already there) and all the baddies except for Aimery.

The hardest ones were Kai (too many options, too little actual options. In the end I said fuck it), Scarlet (this is why we need more diversity guys), Cress (pretty much the same problem as Kai but also I kept changing my mind. Saoirse Ronan was my top choice for quite some time solely because of the 2019 Jo March smiling because she woke up to winter scene), Jacin (a top contender for this role was Legolas!Orlando Bloom) and Kinney (surprised me too his looks are so generic I swear. There's the part about him being more handsome than Kai but yeah sorry pal that's a no.)

I decided to cast KJ Apa as Jerrico because I remember this Tumblr post about him being in the army or something and when I went online to search for his gifs the first 20 were of him shirtless.
